Staff were very nice. The hotel itself has the potential to be great but just misses the mark on a few things. The spa facilities and pool area could do with an update. The pool are both quite small and only really feel.suitable for 1 family at a time. The jacuzzi is also quite intimate and was also not warm.enough to be enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and clean. The decor was a little wierd but thats down to personal taste. The main issue we had was yhe AC not working eventhough we were constantly calling reception to fix it. They would put it on for a couple of hours when we'd call and then switch it back off which meant disturbed sleep every night.

Overall disappointing, though management did attempt to fix some issues when we complained. -Customer service needs improvement; staff often chat during breakfast with little to no work to do, while at other times, only one receptionist is available and can't leave the desk (especially at night; management suggested it is a cost-saving exercise). -Room service was poor; on 3 occasions we had to request toilet rolls, and on 1 occasion soap refills as they weren't replenished after cleaning. -Breakfast was very poor with limited continental choices that were often stale, like bread, or became unavailable, like fruit yoghurt. The hot breakfast was lukewarm and quickly went cold. Needs more vegetarian/vegan options. -The gym is tiny and rundown, accommodating a maximum of two people. The air conditioning was off, making it warm. Management said it could be turned on upon request, but there’s no signage indicating this. -Room maintenance was disappointing: black mold in shower grout, patchy paintwork, bubbling wallpaper, and torn rugs, falling short of advertised standards. -The pool and communal tanning areas were also disappointing; the pool is cold, and sun loungers are tightly packed. The plants are dying. Ugly surrounding buildings. -At times, it felt like a hostel, with groups playing loud music in rooms, drinking vodka, and playing drinking games. -The approach to the hotel is on a slippery, steep slope surrounded by dilapidated buildings and noisy ongoing construction.

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, man kann die Promenade in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen, eine Tiefgarage ist vorhanden und es war immer ein Platz frei. Frühstück war ausreichend und alles vorhanden, was man sich wünscht.

Holm hotel was superb, best customer service, excellent breakfast service, hot and cold food. Spa treatment was fabulous, felt refreshed and the therapist understood the trouble areas and worked on them. Had a great stay in Malta, very good weather, nice place to stay and convenient to get around in the bus or uber.

Holm Boutique Hotel is well situated with just a short walk to the beach for a swim, and neighbouring bays with lots of different dining options. It is very easy to get transport to explore further with Valetta only a short drive away. The hotel has excellent spa facilities for use as a guest with lots of treatments to choose from. Breakfast was lovely, a great start to the day of exploring. We loved it and will be back!

Très bon séjour, l'hôtel est paisible et le personnel vraiment au petit soin. Piscine sur le toit très sympa, elle est non chauffée mais nous pour ceux qui aiment la fraicheur c'est agréable même fin mai. Sinon il y a la pisicine du spa qui est très bien aussi. Attention, l'hotel est en haut d'une pente très inclinée, c'est un peu sportif. La localisation est plutôt bonne car on a d'un côté sliema et de l'autre le centre de San Giljan, avec dans les 2 cas tous les restaurants et bar de bord de mer. Pour visiter les autres lieux sans voiture il faudra la plupar du temps prendre un bus vers La Valette où se trouve la Bus Station.

Excellent stay in Malta! Our room was huge and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The spa facilities were fantastic and nice to enjoy throughout our stay and breakfast was delicious! Would stay again.

Klein aber fein Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer (wir hatten 2220, mit Küche und Jacuzzi) sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Bett ist mega aber das Schlafsofa ist sehr unbequem. Jacuzzi auf der Terasse ist DAS Hightlight! Spabereich ist sehr angenehm. Roof-pool ist sehr klein… Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Alles ist frisch und lecker. Das Hotel fanden wir als Familie sehr gut und können wir wärmst weiterempfehlen Danke

Good location close to waterfront but a very steep hill to access it so not great for people that don’t have very good mobility.

A localização é ótima . Equipe gentil . O tapete do quarto estava sujo , nojento ! Melhor não ter tapete . O cheiro do hotel não é nada bom ! Acredito que pela cozinha , o hall do hotel fede muito e o cheiro entra para o quarto . O café da manhã não é muito bom , mas como é cortesia , não temos que ser exigente

Un hôtel propre et de qualité, avec un personnel professionnel. Tout était parfait. Le spa est relaxant et très propre. La nourriture est de qualité. Les chambres sont très bien isolées, le ménage est fait tous les jours et du café est mis à disposition. L'hôtel est situé dans une ruelle très calme. Une partie du personnel parle français. Une navette depuis l’aéroport est disponible sur demande par mail (25 euros). Rien à dire.

Although it is located between Sliema and St. Julian (which are known as noicy and crowded places) it was relatively quiet. The accomodation is very proper. The staff was very gentle and supportive. The room was cleaned every day and we were provided with fresh towels and bathrobes anytime. The breakfast was very broad from english to continental - nothing was missing. All things considered it was a good choice.

The hotel could be really, really nice and is described as a 5 start but is not. The facilities are good in terms of rooms with hot tubs and terraces. The main issue is the standard of overall cleanliness which is low. Behind the reception and in front of the lifts, the floor mat is absolutely filthy and does not seem to have been washed or vacuumed once when we were there for nearly a week. The hallway carpets are also dirty. The main issue was breakfast. It was ALL open, even hot foods. This meant flies could very easily fly around and sit on the foods. The first day we saw the breakfast area, we were really worried about the hygiene. 3 out of 4 of the party ended up getting food poisoning, one person severely with lots of vomiting and diarrhoea. One poor cleaner had to clean vomit from the little kitchenette in the room. We didn’t have breakfast for the last 3 days. We wanted to check out of couple of days early but were told we could not. The lack of cleanliness is what let this place down which is a shame because with effort and commitment, this hotel could be 5 star.

Not worth the money. We booked the executive penthouse. Hairs on the walls in the shower and the jacuzzi was not clean. After pointing this out, it was fixed, but for this money it should be checked on forehand. Breakfast was ok, not fantastic. Coffee was horrible, most gasstations serve better coffee. I think this hotel is overrated/overpriced…

Suite spacieuse, personnels nombreux serviables et adorables (beaucoup de stagiaires français), propreté irréprochable, equipements complets, espace bien être vaste et complet. Petit déjeuner varié et délicieux. Formidable!

No control of room temperature. Controlled by the hotel/front desk. No a/c despite moderate outdoor temp. Only heat, had to open room door to cool. Front desk suggested opening balcony door to cool room. Unacceptable for guests with sinus condition. Also, guests should be warned hotel is up a steep hill which could be a challenge for guests.

Very good hotel, I would recommend it to anyone. The design is fantastic, not a dull detail of the hotel. The furnishings and decor are also very impressive. The location is very good. Close to everything, but still a quiet little dead end street. The staff is very nice and helpful. The condition of the hotel is excellent. Very well maintained, cleanliness unquestionable. Modern, practical solutions. For example, the "cleaning please" or the "do not disturb" signage solution was very nice. Our room had a small kitchenette, water, tea bags, capsule coffee. Guest slippers and toothbrush with toothpaste were also provided. We didn't try the waves, but we liked the pool on the roof terrace. Breakfast was very tasty, the choice was perfect, not too little, not too much, there is something to suit everyone's taste, whether you want an English breakfast or an Italian sweet start. I can only mention two negatives. The first: the water from the shower spills out at the door and cannot flow back in, stopping in the middle of the bathroom. This is more than problematic, a retrofitted threshold will easily fix this. The second is that the air conditioning unit is a bit louder than that, so as not to disturb poor sleepers. Thirdly, the TV is on the usual hotel programme. USB input is disabled, which is embarrassing (vs. the suondbar with subwoofer is very cool)! Netflix didn't start, but Youtube did.

We booked the Deluxe Room, 1 King Bed & Hot Tub for 10 nights. It’s on the ground floor, so only downside is there’s barely any sunlight in the room, due to the building next to the hotel & for some reason we got bitten a lot. Other than that the room is very spacious, bed is so comfortable and loved the shower. Loads of storage space & there’s a mini fridge. There’s 24hr room service so you can order water and drinks whenever you like. There’s an option in your room for your room to be cleaned and you can do this option every day if you want, which is lovely to come back to a clean bedsheets, fresh towels after a day out. The staff are wonderful so helpful and nice. The inside and outdoor pool facilities are nice. Good thing about this hotel is there’s around 30 rooms so it was never crowded which is nice. Breakfast was nice. Always different egg options (fried, scrambled, tarts) and the sweet options (pancakes, crepes etc.) changed every day. Wasn’t aware of how nice the area is, there’s loads of local restaurants. We had a pastizzi shop which is a 5 min walk from the hotel which we frequented. There’s also a Costa, Wagamamas and McDonald’s about 15/20 walk from the hotel too. Also a beach nearby but it’s dirty so we didn’t go there which was a shame. The hotel is on a very steep hill but you’ll get used to the exercise

Sono sempre felice, quando recensisco una bellissima vacanza con un hotel fantastico. Siamo stati benissimo. abbiamo prenotato una family suite posta al terzo piano. Silenziosa, ampia con due letti queenside, ben separati ed in comunicazione dall'ampia entrata. Basgno spaziosissimo con doccia generosa e vasca. zona cucina con tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari per cucinare in camera. Doppia esposizione con due balconi, uno verso il mare, il secondo più stretto ma lungo con vista sulla città. Pulitissimo e silenziosissimo. L'hotel si trova a poche decine di metri dal lungo mare trafficato di movida di San Giuliano, ma sufficiente distante da poter dormire con le finestre aperte e sentire i grilli di notte. abbiamo dormito benissimo. Dall'hotel si arriva a piedi dopo un discesa sul lungo mare, ricco di locali, ristoranti e divertimenti. Parcheggio riservato incluso nella struttura, che è un vero plus nelle vie anguste e trafficatissime di Malta. Ottima la prima colazione sia continentale, sia tradizionale con molta scelta. Vi consigliamo di usufruire della piscina sul tetto della struttura, piccola, ma suggestiva con vista mare e grattacieli di San Giuliano. ampia possibilità di riposarsi sull'upper deck con tante sdraio e la possibilità di richiedere un drink da sorseggiare rilassati. Staff is excellent, they go out of their way to help. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. If you are worried about airport transport,Bolt is available at any time within 5 min. We left at 3 am and got a Bolt in 4 min, cost 12 Euro.

The staff were very exceptional, very generous, cheerful and thoughtful. We loved the spa services and appreciated the unique, uplifting decor. Special thanks to Lani and Jeni for excellent Spa treatments; and to Laura and Elsa for great service at reception.

It is a cute, cozy hotel, well located, clean and with good ambiance and decoration but I want to specially thank and recommend Rhea at the front desk, she is smart, warm and thoughtful woman who helped us during the whole stay! Dans l’ensemble, cet hôtel ne devrait pas être considéré comme un 5* mais plutôt comme un “bon” 3* (selon nous, français habitués à voyager en 5* en Europe et au moyenorient). L’hôtel est situé au fond d’une allée en pente, difficile d’accès pour les taxis et les personnes à mobilité réduite. Cependant, il est proche de la plage et de tout lieu touristique. À l’accueil, nous avons été bien accueillis par une employée sauf une certaine jeune employée à lunettes et une autre, Cheyenne qui devrait s’acheter de l’amabilité et un sourire. Sa manière de s’exprimer à l’égard des clients n’est pas digne de l’hôtellerie, encore - d’un 5*. En revanche nous avons beaucoup apprécié le sourire de Saryjeet. La chb est spacieuse, propre mais la sdb manquait de lumière. Petit bémol : au check-in, nous n’avons pas été informé des heures de housekeeping (qui a causé un léger désagrément assez vite réglé) et du petitdéjeuner. En parlant du petitdej, celui-ci propose un choix très limité d’éléments salés, les fruits ne sont pas forcément frais et tout est à découvert, laissant libre cours à tout insecte souhaitant se substanter. La piscine extérieure n’est pas chauffée et très petite ( de 5 pax et on peut très vite se retrouver à l’étroit). Celle intérieure est un peu plus grande et légèrement chauffée, très agréable si l’on est seul. La salle de sport fait 10m2, entièrement vitrée et propose deux machines datées et à peine fonctionnelles des poids. Bref, passable hôtel, pas au niveau d’un 5*

Hotel is closed to the beach but access to it can prove difficult for people with mobility issues given the road leading to it is quite steep. Didn't use the spa and other facilities but the jacuzzi was not very clean. The pool on the roof is nice but very small. Rooms are a bit dated. Bed very comfortable. Rooms with seaviews are much more expensive. Most rooms have balconies at the back with views of other flats. Rooms are cleaned daily. There is a good spread of hot and cold food for breakfast. Staffs are very friendly. There are very few sandy beaches in Malta and the one in Balluta bay is quite popular and 5 mins walk from the hotel. Good public transport link esp the use of a daily or weekly pass. Availability of buses to all parts of the island from Bulluta including airport. We didn't hire a car but used public transport to travel all over the island. As we landed at Malta airport we bought a weekly bus pass for 25 euros. Very good value for money. Loads of eating places nearby, from fine dining to eating at food court or even a McDonald's. Prices vary, but reasonable.

The HOLM hotel was fantastic! Great location in St Julian's, just up the hill from all the action. Quiet, except for the two roosters, but that added charm. Got an upgraded room on the 4th floor. Spacious, great shower, nice to have a kitchenette and fridge for the delicious food we picked up. Patio with a covered bed lounger was great - sunbathed and napped on it. The hot tub was amazing! Very clean and awesome to use while enjoying the music from the hotel's pool terrace. The hotel pool was refreshing with a cute patio. Breakfast was also very good - all the right things and local pastries - the pastizzio of different fillings - was great. Highly recommend. Service was friendly and accessible.

Precioso hotel, bien ubicado por su tranquilidad y cerca de todo. Las habitaciones son super agradables, espaciosas con cama muy cómoda, un gran baño con ducha y bañera y una terraza para disfrutar de los días soleados. Gran solarium con piscina en la azotea que no pudimos disfrutar en este mes de febrero pero debe ser una gozada en verano. Really liked the decor. Quite unusual and unique. Our suite was excellent with plenty of space and very clean All the staff were great and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was among the best we have seen. We had a spa treatment that was fabulous. Overall we really liked the place. There were a few negatives, however. These were: the view from our room was poor, the shower door was broken and difficult to use, the cold tap on the bath did not work properly and the bottom sheet on the bed had a small hole in it.
