The room was hot and stuffy with electrical issues. The ceiling was damaged in our shower and bathroom. The front desk staff was rude and unwilling to make any accommodations to a different room. The AC in the rooms do not work well enough to cool the rooms so we had to sleep with the window open and unfortunately the hotel is next to CDG and directly on a freeway. The website claims to have a shuttle service to CDG but the shuttle service only went as far as a gas station, completely misleading and useless.

Unfortunately, the disappointment is significant given the status of a hotel in this chain. I truly don't understand how they classify it as a 4-star hotel considering the service and room amenities. The reception staff's response upon arrival was utterly unpleasant, demonstrating a complete lack of friendliness and courtesy with inappropriate and rude answers. The rooms are extremely basic and don't even include bottled water, forcing us to go outside to find a water dispenser next to the reception area, which is otherwise disorganized and dirty. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the service, the response was that it was the establishment's policy. A shameful experience for the Mercure chain.
