The facility is very nice and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are amazing and perfect for a family of 4. We got the room with the bunkbeds and it was great. The kids pool area and center was absolutely the best I’ve ever seen. The staff was friendly…big thanks to Caulette and Shakira from the spa they were excellent. The Spa is amazing and had everything you could ever want. The gym was beautiful and short of nothing. I got a great workout. The food was good (but I’ve had better) but my husband thought everything was excellent. The only thing I would give Princess a low grade for would be the beach. It’s not blue water and as a Jamaican I can tell what a quality beach is. But overall it’s now one of the best resort I’ve been to in Jamaica.

We had a wonderful time at this resort. It is great for kids - they loved the water park and kids' club. The swim out suite was great - facilities were well maintained and food was good and entertainment was fun. Service was attentive (especially the butlers) but key bar areas were understaffed and resulted in considerable wait times for service. Easily corrected with a few more staff assigned -- and then, it would have been perfect. We will return.

AMAZING!! AMAZING !! AmAZING !! Place is modern and beautiful ! Rooms are spacious! Beds are comfortable . Pools, water park are wonderful ! Wide variety of food choices and restaurants!! The food truck was even better than the Jamrock restaurant! The gym and spa services with hydrotherapy were unparalleled!! Exceptional customer service . The only down side was the rocky beach but it’s fine if you have water shoes . I will return with family et al.

The property was very clean and vibrant. Staff was so friendly and kind. We felt welcomed and safe from start to finish. There was a great variety of food to choose from, but during busy weekends make sure you go early or you risk not being able to be sat for dinner before closing. There are some free watersports that are included, which was nice. Plenty of pools to choose from and even though the place was sold out, it never felt overcrowded. Our only issue the entire time was always needing to ask for towels. Our room was cleaned daily but towels we always needed to call for. Often times we'd just bring back extra towels from the pool areas so we could shower as soon as we got back and not have to wait for towels. There are a lot of excursions to book through the property, but they are quite expensive. You are about 1 hour 15 minutes away from montego bay airport, 3 hours from Dunn's River falls and 30-40 minutes from negril. Overall my kids and I had a great experience and would love to return!

The staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We especially loved dining at Robert’s Flame—the lamb chops were absolutely delicious! The coffee house quickly became a favorite spot for us, and the spa’s hydrotherapy was a highlight—relaxing, quiet, and rejuvenating. Overall, the combination of warm hospitality, beautiful design, great food, and relaxing amenities made this a memorable and peaceful getaway. Stayed with my wife and two children (7 and 10). Friendly staff, nice rooms, good dining options. The jerk chicken and patties at the poolside food truck was the best option on the resort. That and the oxtail, which they had at the lunch buffet and in the Jamrock restaurant. We didn’t realize until we arrived that over half of the hotel property is reserved for the Mangrove adults only resort, so there were fewer a la carts restaurants than we thought and the beach areas available to the family side are pretty small. Beaches were kept very clean and the water was amazing. A few rocks in the sand in some spots so be careful walking in. One of the best kids waterparks we’ve seen at a resort outside of the Atlantis Bahamas. The slides were big enough that even the parents could enjoy them, but not so huge or intimidating that a 7 year old couldn’t handle them. So I was going up and down with my kids every day. They loved it. Friendly staff, good activities, not pushy with trying to upsell you on things or book you for the spa services. Kids only tried the kids club once but they enjoyed it and got to be a part of the on stage show that night. My only complaint is that our room was close to the stage where the shows happened every night, and we put the kids to bed fairly early and the music from the night shows would shake our walls until 11pm. We paid more for a swim out junior suite and it was so worth it to have our own pool area to dip in any time that we wanted.

Overall, the resort was great. The first 1-3 days I would def give it a 10/10. However; towards day 4, house keeping completely missed cleaning our room and we didn’t have any towels for 1.5 days. This is all fine if they didn’t take the old ones but we were left with no towels and a small kid. The hallways were also really dirty and sand everywhere. Other than that, best beach, great room size, amazing beach & fun activities all around. The only downfall is that really the hallways to the rooms and windows are filthy. They need to really get more cleaning help and when you call for something you don’t really receive it…. So you have to go search for it yourself.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the property itself was beautiful with well-kept grounds. There was some ongoing maintenance during our stay, but nothing disruptive. Cleanliness in the common areas could use improvement — we noticed excessive fingerprints on main entry glass doors (coffee shop) and tables were not always cleaned/cleared promptly after meals. Staff were friendly and helpful overall, though service was a bit slow at times (which we expected). Food was the main downside: while there are too many lunch options, it might be better to focus on just two or three venues to improve quality, as the buffet food was often cold. Despite these issues, we had an overall good trip.

The Princess Grand Jamaica is undeniably a stunning resort, but unfortunately, my recent stay was marred by significant service shortcomings. While I understand that new establishments may face initial challenges, certain issues we encountered were beyond acceptable. During our stay, our building went four consecutive days without housekeeping services. Essential amenities such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and towels were not replenished daily, leading to considerable inconvenience. These lapses in basic services are concerning and detract from the overall guest experience. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to enhance the quality of service and ensure future guests have a more pleasant stay.

Rooms need to clean more detailed but overall a very good stay ,I’ll definitely be back.

The hotel needs a bit more finesse. The place is not being clean properly and the sewage scent is overwhelming. The flies in the eating area is such a big turn off. Beautiful hotel overall.

I recently stayed at Princess Grand Jamaica. The rooms are modern and spacious — we loved our swim-out room with a perfect view. The pools and waterpark are great, especially for families. However, the resort needs more staffing. They struggled to keep up with refreshing rooms and towels, and while the smaller crowd was nice, they would likely struggle with larger groups. Food was inconsistent — buffet items were often cold, and cleanliness around the buffet was lacking with gnats and spills. Dinner at the a la carte restaurants was better but had long wait times. The Platinum Lounge offered a much better experience, with very accommodating staff. Bug issues, especially gnats in the rooms, were frustrating. Also, staff customer service needs improvement, as many seemed annoyed, particularly in restaurants. The beach was okay, with nice sand but some rocky areas and limited shade. Overall, the resort has potential but needs to address cleanliness, food quality, bugs, and service. I’d recommend it only if you go in with low expectations and flexibility.

Overall, my family enjoyed the beach and the food options. Loved the jerk food trucks and the snack bar. We booked here because we enjoyed our stay the first time, so we came back inviting family, totaling 15 of us. The interior decor of the hotel is modern and beautiful and I enjoyed the breeze and views. We didn’t stay at the pool much, they are well kept and so many infinity pools. Kids love the water park and virtual arcade area and us the entertainment. The exterior of the resort facing the sea, I saw wear and mold on the exteriors. The beach has small rocks along the shoreline but once you get over that, smooth. A few family members had issues with sewage smell in their rooms that was reported to the front desk. My family loved the soccer/basketball field. They were out there almost every evening before dinner, playing ⚽️🥅along with the fitness staff. It was a memorable time and glad we came back. Hope the resort remediate their issues considering this resort is pretty new and rated as five stars.

This is a luxury property with a welcoming feel. Fantastic for families and kids of all ages. We stayed for 5 days with a groups of 7 adults 1 child. We wish we would have stayed longer. During our stay the hotel was not busy at all. We never waited in oune for food drinks or needed reservation for anything. We enjoyed the variety and quality of food and drinks. Our room was 6479 which is the top floor overlooking the beach facing the overwater bungalows. This is not an upgraded room but for a couple we had everything we needed. The room felt like we were the first to stay in it. Other people in pur groyp

Stayed with family (kids in tow) Aug. 23-30 at the resort & had the best time! The property was clean, staff was friendly (everyone was kind, helpful & almost always smiled!), the pools were warm & clean & the ocean was warm too! The game room & kids club came in handy for sure when it rained a few days for a few hours! If you frequent the beach, I would definitely wear sandals or water shoes as there are rocks in the water & the sand is grainy. The food is alright, nothing too spectacular but I'm not a picky eater so there was more than enough for me to eat (as well as the kids). We stayed in room 7321 with the bunk beds & it was nice & spacious. The one sink tap was a little wobbly & the toilet paper holder was starting to come off the wall but that's it. I didn't overly love having the sinks & shower in one open area & then the toilet in a small room on it's own. The open area with the sink & shower is a bit tricky when it came to visitors (yes there is a curtain to separate it from the sleeping/lounging area but you had to walk by the open area with the shower to go past the curtain into the sleeping/lounging area). Tipping - the staff prefers to be tipped in US. We had Jamaican dollars & one staff member (he worked in the Cafe), voiced that 'they are used to that currency'. The resort wasn't busy (as it wasn't their high season) which was nice & we could get the chairs/loungers that we wanted. We also met a lot of locals! Would 10000% come back again! Yah mon!

A few odd things with the resort, we were placed in an adjoining room and didn’t know the people on the other side, it was fine until they were super early risers and also woke us up. I did request a new room and the front staff were able to fulfill my request, I was grateful! I do feel that both rooms bathrooms weren’t cleaned well, you can see the area in front of the toilet was dirty (if you have a young son you know what I’m talking about), also didn’t like that there was no fan/ventilation in the toilet room. We had a great view in both rooms, I think the report was designed to have great views from every angle, which was so great! The market buffet was where we ate breakfast each day and it wasn’t that great however they did have a lot of options. Staff was friendly, they had great entertainment and the property was beautiful! Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely return again.

Overall stay was great but do recommend having an area in the shower to hold soap and other items as I had to put them on the floor when not in use.

It was very clean and food was great. Bed was comfortable and suite was spacious. The only issue is that after 6pm there is limited entertainment for 12 and under.

This resort was amazing. It was brand new. Our two Butler‘s Chris & Pierrre, were amazing. This added k so much to our experience so I will say if you do book here make sure you at least book a platinum experience. You have your own dining area. You have your own infinity pool you have your own area where you can relax, have a drink & eat. It was great. We went to the spa and that was fabulous. We did a couples massage and those women were amazing. My masseuse’s name was Carolyn (sorry can’t remember the other lady). We stayed on the family side because the adult side sold out of the platinum swim out. I enjoyed my room however, if you’re an adult, it was just me and my husband. If you are an adult, I would say stay on the adult side. There was a lot of noise in the hallway. Mostly you know there were children, screaming, and all that in the hallway & you expect that on the family side. so but one thing that we did not like to was someone ran the Jacuzzi all night. The walls appear to be very thin. Would definitely return

I found an amazing deal for Princess Grand and I’m so glad I booked. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The butlers, Chris and Pierre, were attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was top-notch. For an all-inclusive, the food exceeded expectations. The wait staff in every restaurant were kind, attentive, and always made excellent recommendations on food selections, ensuring we truly enjoyed each meal. The only hiccups during my stay were at the MVP bar, where on two occasions out of several visits I didn’t receive service and ended up leaving, and the fact that the shower triggered the fire alarm, bringing security to my door. While minor, they were noticeable. Overall, these were small inconveniences compared to the fantastic experience I had. Princess Grand has definitely earned a spot on my list of places to return to—I look forward to coming back!

Property well maintained friendly staff

We had a wonderful time at the Princess Grand. The rooms were clean and we found the beds extremely comfortable. The food variety was good and we always found something that we liked. Overall, our experience was a good one and we would definitely return. Our only recommendation would be to improve on the check in process as it took almost an hour for us to get checked in.

We stayed at the Grand Jamaica Princess for 10 nights. While the hotel is large and clean, it severely underdelivers for families and is clearly designed for adults, despite being marketed as family-friendly. The resort is split: the adults-only side has full access everywhere, while families are heavily restricted — especially when it comes to restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Although 14 restaurants are advertised, families only get access to 5. The rest require a $30 per person fee, which is outrageous for an “all-inclusive” resort. After 9 PM, there’s nothing for families to do. Children aren’t allowed in the family-side sports bar at night, even with parents. The games room is limited to ages 11–13, and younger kids are excluded — even if supervised. Not every parent wants to use the kids club, and there should be options to enjoy activities with your children. There are rules and restrictions everywhere, killing any sense of relaxation. Towels were inconsistent, bar service starts late (10 AM or later), reservations were a nightmare, and security presence made it feel more like a boot camp than a resort. For the high price tag, this resort oversells and underdelivers massively. It’s not family-friendly and certainly not worth the money. We won’t be returning — and if you’re a family looking for a relaxing holiday, you may want to look elsewhere.

For the price paid i was hoping for better, literally felt like i was begging for everything.. To be served just a drink or water. Staff seemed always consumed in their own conversations. Poor customer service, requested for soap and shower cap in the room, the gentleman who brought it seemed very displeased..no hie or hello to top it off front desk person semi argued no its there in the room just look lol. Last night of my staff was not feeling called the front desk and front desk for 2 hours on/off no answer i was hoping to get my dinner in my room. Male staff also unprofessional and aggressive. If traveling solo be mindful. Lots of room for improvement required.

Absolutely beautiful property and warm staff. There was one moment of miscommunication which was expeditiously resolved by the guest services team. Kudos to Georgiana & Ackelia. Tianna was also wonderful. I will definitely be going back to this hotel.

My stay at the Princess grand was mediocre at best. we had the platinum club swim up and compared to diamond and platinum at other resorts its was pretty basic. you did get a butler which the two we had did a good job. But if you usually pay extra for Club experience you know what I mean it should never be basic. The rest of the staff especially at the MVP restaurant cater more to caucasian travelers i’m assuming they thought they would get better tips. At times we would be sitting for 25 minutes before anyone comes up to to take your order. To be a new resort the cleaning staff did not do a a good job cleaning the rooms they ran out of basic washcloth and towels. The food at the Market buffet was better then the food at any of the multiple restaurants they have but at all the restaurants the food was luke warm. It just didn’t meet our expectations compare to other places at stayed at in JA.

The staff were awesome well trained and we saw why because the head ( hotel manager) and other managers were immaculate and made our stay superb during hurricane Melissa.

The staff was amazing! The resort was amazing! A little far from Montego Bay but definitely worth every penny!

Everything at the resort was great the staff were amazing, the place is kid friendly but it is literally a hr away from Montego Bay it’s close to Negril but besides that my family loved it.

Food options where limited, is far from town and transportation is limited as well.

Everyone here was amazing. Rooms and restaurants are fabulous. Only draw backs are how large the property is and how far you have to walk and that dinner ends at 9:30. MVP Bar was the only place where the service was subpar. Not enough bartenders and servers.

Alot of walking and the beach had only had 1 rinse off location. Everyone The Rooms were Freezing and very difficult to turn the temperature up or down and the bathroom by the door eliminated the privacy if someone opened your front door. Long wait at specialty Resturant if there is a convention group on site(they come 1st). Buffet Food variety was good. Loved the many fruits...even lechee and prunes. My Rating 3.9

Probably the best trip we've taken as a family, great hotel and food, pools, rooms, all of it. It wasnt too hot, even in July, great breeze and the beach and cove were inviting. not another resort in sight. We felt very safe.

Everything about the resort was amazing—the staff, the service, the cleanliness, and the overall experience were all top-notch. The only downside was the food. It definitely wasn’t authentic, even at the specialty restaurants, which was disappointing considering how great everything else was.

Overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent, and the staff were kind, proactive, and responsive throughout our visit. We rented a cabana for the day, and while we enjoyed it, the service around it felt a bit uncoordinated. The staff began setting up while we were already there, which took away from the experience. Since this was an additional service, I was expecting a more polished presentation — ideally, everything would have been ready upon our arrival, with the cabana fully set up, champagne chilled, and flutes in place. A more seamless and elevated setup would have really created that “wow” moment.

Loved the Jamrock dining and our hostess was great! Overall we had a great time but a lot of minor issues that prevented it from being an amazing experience; lack of communication between staff, fire alarm triggered by showers and slow service with restaurants

Modern property. I didnt like the fact that the check in process took much much longer than expected. There was always a line to enter Jamaica Market, which is their main dining area. Have to wait unusually long to be seated.

The hotel is exquisite and rooms very spacious and modern. There are several dinning options through out the resort and bars with great refreshments. Staff was very professional and courteous. The only two complaints I have, food at the buffet was cold and halal or kosher options.

We were there the weekend before the hurricane hit Jamaica. The resort was amazing, the staff was amazing, the butlers Richardo and Thorniel were amazing, the life guards at the water park treated us like family. The bartenders were top notch and made great drinks. Shoutout to O’Shea. The food was the best I ever had and I’ve been to many AI resorts. Jamaica didn’t disappoint and we will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay. The resort is absolutely beautiful. The beach and pool always had seats available. Amenities were plentiful. They have lots of food options but unfortunately the food was just okay besides the Jamaican dishes, fruit, and ice cream which were amazing. The temperature of the food was also just warm or cold. The Jamrock restaurant was the best and the buffet had good options. There’s always some type of entertainment going on which was good for the kids as well.

My stay was a pleasant one because of the staff, the ambiance and the hotel was vibrant. Most of the things people expect when visiting Jamaica. What surprised was that the food at the food market lacked flavor! Most of the food was not good at all. The flavors were bland. That is the missing piece to this hotel. The best food was from Jam Rock! I want to give this place another try with a large group but please FIX THE FOOD my friends.

Best resort we’ve ever been to. Food was amazing, the staff are SO nice and accommodating to every single need that you could imagine might even arise! Gia with guest services was so helpful, kind and sweet. She helped me coordinate a surprise bday decorations and cake for my son and even threw in a bottle of nonalcoholic champagne. Every single person there you could tell loved their job and if they didn’t you couldn’t tell! The cafe staff even remembered our coffee orders each day, so sweet! Morris from the aqua bar took excellent care of us each day making every single drink to perfection. Only thing I would review even remotely negatively was the buffet food was just ok. Go to the al a cart restaurants for dinner, the food trucks for lunch (AMAZING patties) and the cafe for breakfast items. Avoid the buffet - there are just too many items and many are not appetizing. (Like fish and goat for breakfast YUCK lol). Also, it did rain everyday we were there, sometimes for hours at a time so that sucked but at least it was predictable in the afternoon so we woke up early early and hit the beach. My son loved to snorkel and you can snorkel just steps into the water, kayak, wind sail, paddle boat. The scuba caribe staff who book excursions were amazing! Made a point to make personal connections with guests and we already miss our morning convos and laughs with DeNeesha. Every single person there treat you like family and we return if we can find booking! Peace love Jamaica!
