Room was clean. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is location is very accessible from the train station.

Great location, spotlessly clean room, gorgeous onsen and a breakfast that is so pretty we had to take pictures. Highly recommended.

I have reserved hotel around TAKAYAMA, an Ascend Collection Hotel for my stay from 11 to 14 February. After I came back from Toyama on 13 February, I found that my 龍猫 Totoro small pouch bag had disappeared from the low coffee table of my room. Inside the pouch bag were my Samsung headphones together with an adaptor. I searched my room and everywhere, I couldn't find it. I immediately reported to the front office staff. They said would search my trash bins, but I am very sure it was not in the trash bins. I firmly believe that one of the housekeepers took it from my room during housekeeping on 13 February morning, as it was still there before I left for my visit to Toyama! I immediately sent an email to one of their senior.members, Mr. INOHAE on 14 February, but I have not received any reply from him or anyone else so far! Frankly, I have visited Japan more than 30 times, and I have never encountered such a serious incident! This incident will surely affect the hotel image and reputation deeply. When people lose their faith and confident in you, it can take years to regain their trusts. Yours sincerely Ms Ho
