This hotel is a great base for traveling to Schiphol Airport. It’s spacious, with good rooms and a well-organized layout. However, our experience with the parking policy left a bad taste. We were dropped off by a friend and decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Although the first three hours of parking are supposed to be free, and we stayed well within that limit, we still had to pay €7.50 at the machine. After following the instructions and paying, we addressed the issue with the staff, who told us we should have checked in at reception first. Unfortunately, this was not indicated anywhere. Despite our complaint, the hotel couldn't refund us, stating that the parking lot is managed by a third party. After some email exchanges, they offered a €7.50 discount on a future stay. Honestly, I’m not sure if I’d want to return just for that.

Lots of things to like. Regular shuttle bus. Pool, sauna, steam room and gym at no extra cost. The food we had was better than anticipated. The only thing we weren’t so keen on was the automatic bathroom light which is a bit bright in the middle of the night.

Conveniently located nearby the airport with a free shuttle, this property has something for everyone. There is a SkyBar, 24/7 convenience store, cinema with free popcorn, 24/7 in-room dining service, spa, cafe and buffet restaurant, shopping, and even an airplane to explore! The free water and little luggage of Dutch treats in the room were an amazing hospitality touch and made us feel very welcomed. The layout of the front desk check in isn't the greatest and leads to a big traffic jam to get in and out of the hotel front entrances. Great hotel, staff, and location. Highly recommend!

Cor en don schiphol is een geweldig hotel want je hebt alles om je verbijf gemakkelijk te maken. Van een skybar tot wellness, zwembad en training centrum mini supermarkt en de slaapkamer met een uitzicht waar je u tegen zegt badkamer voorzien van alles, een en airbus in de tuin met mini speeltuin voor de kids. Het is een en al luxe. Wij hebben genoten van onze verblijf Vriendelijk personeel en half uur op afstand van schiphol.

This place is awesome, the team there does a great job at managing a very busy place, and the restaurants in the hotel are awesome! Just wish I had more time to hit up the spa!

Big hotel advantage. Cinema, spa, pool, restaurant s and bars. The Village shop was very handy. Our room was well appointed and very quiet. We enjoyed the garden for peaceful retreat and the novelty of the 747! Staff were helpful and friendly.

Really nice, high standard hotel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and new looking, and the upstairs bar had amazing views over the airport. The free shuttlebus (every 30 minutes) took around 10 minutes to get to the airport, and it was another 20 minutes on the train to Amsterdam Centraal station. There was a bit of a wait at reception to check in/out and despite making a reservation, we had to queue for 45 minutes to get into the evening buffet, but the food was good quality and the over all stay was excellent.

First impression of the room was that it was very plain. Simple furnishings. We ended up with a handicapped accessible room. Not sure if it different from normal rooms but the flooring was a carpet patterned vinyl. Bathroom sink and floor was dirty on arrival. There was also a metallic sound on the outside wall. Not very loud but noticeable and constant Had the breakfast buffet in the morning and that was the best part of the stay. Nice offerings of breakfast staples.

Things we liked: The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel had dining options. We liked the shuttle. The rooms were quiet. The bed was comfortable. We had to ask each day to have our room refreshed. There were cups and saucers but no way to make coffee or tea. We used the cups and glasses over our 4 night stay and they were never replaced with clean dishes. The shower had weak pressure and constantly changed temperatures. In addition the bathroom light went out while you were in the shower as the bathroom lights were motion sensitive.

Despite us booking a more expensive King bed room and showing them the booking, they gave us two twins for our last night of our anniversary trip. Instead of fixing it, they blamed Hotels.com and gave us free breakfast instead. The hotel itself was fine, especially for the price, and i was grateful for the luggage storage. If they have this problem often, they should remedy it. My other bookings through Hotels.com had no problems in multiple countries and across the US.

It took a long time to get checked in. After flying all day it would’ve been nice to have a speedy check in. Also, I payed for a king bed but they gave us two twins. As I was tired from the long day and didn’t want to wait in the long line I’ll dealt with it. On another note, the waiter at the bistro was hardworking and kind.

Convenient to the airport. Convenient shuttle…when it’s running according to schedule. The rooms were very quiet, well sound proofed, which was a blessing. Who comes up with the design for these bathrooms?!!! No shower door, the water splashes EVERYWHERE. There’s not a dry space in the bathroom after one takes a shower. Also, no countertop area at the sink to place toiletries. In addition, the water temp had a difficult time regulating between hot and cold (could be a problem with the mixer). We tried turning up the heat in the room as hotel mgt had it on A/C (in winter!) when we entered. The heat had a difficult time regulating and coming up to temp, so we were pretty cold for most of the night. Fine to stay here one night as a layover but wouldn’t do more than that. On paper it looked like the Corendon had nice amenities but we didn’t have a chance to use any of them, unfortunately.

Very nice hotel to stay in for a business trip. Convenient shuttle bus between the airport and the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The room space is reasonable. It was busy when checked in as a full bus of visitors arrived at the hotel at the same time, but it did not take too long until we got our room key. I will stay at this hotel again.

This was a very last minute booking due to the cancellation of our flight. We felt very lucky to have managed to get booked in to the Corenden. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, a special mention has to go to the two guys in the bar, amazingly friendly service! The free airport shuttle bus was a bonus and allowed us to get to the train for a day trip to Amsterdam.

Be careful with any transactions here. The hotel room was already paid for by booking online. They asked for my card for deposit in case something was damaged. After checking out and returning home they charged my card again for the booking. So, I was charged twice for 1 room for 1 night. Called multiple days in a row to speak to someone about it and they refused to give me a refund. 40 euros per person for a buffet that was poorly maintained. Children running around everywhere and allowed to play around the food. Tables sticky and dirty as well. I would never stay here again.

Nothing special about this hotel or its over priced dinner buffet. The shuttle service was as promised. We had booked a room using Expedia and some confusion at reception almost had us charged for our booked and pre-paid room. A supervisor did clear up the confusion and our check in proceeded. The room was clean but the phone was not working even though the staff tried to get the connection reinstated but there was still no way to connect with the front desk. We are still trying to get our bill corrected. There was a mystery charge on our credit card by the Corendon and have been in long distance phone communication to get answers and charges corrected. This has been in the works for 7 business days with no resolution yet but at least they are saying they are working on this concern.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was great. Very nice hotel. Buffett on site as dining option. Not really close to anything but free airport shuttle made it easy to get to and from airport to catch trains into city and other areas.

Great hotel, friendly staff. The only complaint we had was the free shuttle bus was not wheelchair accessible. Since we were traveling with 2 wheelchairs, it made it impossible for us to go anywhere unless we wanted to walk to the public bus stop or rent a car. We chose the latter. To be fair, the staff was just as upset about this as we were. Their regular shuttle IS accessible, but was out on repair, and the outside company that runs the shuttle swapped out with a tour bus. The hotel was kind enough to comp our parking for the entire stay.

Good hotel for AMS overnight. The hotels airport shuttle bus, you’d think, would have room for luggage- nope. If you’re traveling light, fine. Otherwise, you’ll be struggling on the shuttle. Pros:Clean property and good staff Cons: limited dining options, airport shuttle only till 11pm so limited transportation. Limited dining especially at night. They had menu in the room which read “24x7”in room dining but when called I was told they don't have that service.

The hotel, room , lobby very nice. Great shuttle on time for the airport. Everything was great untill dinner. Ordered our food at 6:30 pm got our plates at 8:15pm We could not find out why, the server kept saying your dinners are coming... So it kind of ruin our stay. May be we just got a bad night for the resto.

Nice rooms with well-placed lights and electrical outlets. There are restaurants on site but the Sky Bar is closed on Monday & Tuesday which leaves only the Buffet Restaurant (crowded) or the Bistro (minimal offerings). There was only one waiter at the Bistro. He was charming and efficient, but overwhelmed. Given how far the hotel is from other options for food, having a better alternate to the Buffet for weary travelers would be an asset. There is a neighborhood bus that drops off near the hotel (195). You can take it to the #2 tram line to central Amsterdam. The trip will take about 75-90 minutes but it's less expensive and more interesting than an Uber/taxi.

Excellent value for a beautiful hotel. Easy, pleasant checkin. Luxurious and clean room. Free airport shuttle. 14 minute train ride from Schiphol airport to central train station in Amsterdam. SIL had a great massage at the hotel spa. Dinner was delicious at the Skybar restaurant but the service could improve. Overall would definitely stay here again

Really nice, high standard hotel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and new looking, and the upstairs bar had amazing views over the airport. The free shuttlebus (every 30 minutes) took around 10 minutes to get to the airport, and it was another 20 minutes on the train to Amsterdam Centraal station. There was a bit of a wait at reception to check in/out and despite making a reservation, we had to queue for 45 minutes to get into the evening buffet, but the food was good quality and the over all stay was excellent.

We were looking for a quick place to stay overnight between flights. The shuttle service ended before we got there, check in was vague on how to get to our room, lights, shower and coffee maker where all unique in their operation. When you are tired and looking for a quick place to rest, this place may not be ideal.
