Very easy to navigate to, and park. Easy access (via car) to Aberdeen and ring road. Could not for love nor money get the air conditioner turned down ... but a small complaint... overall lovely.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room was very comfortable and clean and had an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. A great hot breakfast, which was buffet style. Arriving back very late from a wedding reception, snacks were available near the front desk. The location of this hotel is excellent for onward journeys and there is good parking. I would stay here again. Happy to recommend a stay here.

Overall the hotel is very good and the restaurant for dinner and breakfast is okay too. A few niggles the hotel need to sort out. Only one of the 2 lifts were working and the lift displays on the floors didnt work either. There was no notice to say that one of the lifts didnt work. The literature states the bar is open until 12pm, yet when we returned from a night at the theatre at 10:45 and fancied a drink to unwind the bar was closed and reception told us it closed early. We were offered room service but I dont want to drink in the hotel room alone. Also I had to wait 15 minutes for scrambled eggs to be replenished at breakfast, and had made staff aware it had run out. Niggles but it dies affect your overall opinion.

Generally a good stay,hotel is well placed with small shopping complex opposite.Room spacious with good facilities(55 inch tv)and great bathroom. Had one meal in the resteraunt,good meal but disorganised. The main problem for us was the EV charging facilities,it’s good there was chargers at a good price BUT reception were completely clueless and out of the 5 bays most times 3 bays were filled with ICE cars. This hotel is advertised as 4 stars but in reality is a 3 star hotel.
Generally a good stay,hotel is well placed with small shopping complex opposite.Room spacious with good facilities(55 inch tv)and great bathroom. I booked this hotel as it had a fit was centre. Upon arrival I was informed it was out of order, no mention on the booking page. Key card didn’t work and was stuck outside my room for 20 minutes.

Fabulous hotel - room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Great little Italian restaurant and free parking. In terms of value for money this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at - would highly recommend.

Our standard room was smallish but worked fine for a couple and it was very clean. The reception staff were very helpful when we requested an early check-in to get ready for a wedding. The thing that let the whole thing down was the breakfast experience. The food was of very poor quantity and there was not enough available when we first got to the buffet. It took a manger to make an appearance before more hot food was made available. We paid £100 for the night and I would expect better quantity ingredients to be used for this price point.

I had just recovered from a bad chest infection and spent most of Christmas in bed. I felt much better and started my journey home 460 miles in total. Decided to treat myself to a posh hotel with dreams of having a nice hot bath. I upgraded to a family room for the bath. I ran the bath but could only get Luke warm water and had to boil the kettle 4 times and even then it was just warm. There was a big long hair at the side of the bath obviously not mine. Anyway I really struggled to get out of the bath and I consider myself fit. Handles seemed too high. Well got dried but the room was freezing. So followed instructions for heating. But made no difference intact the fan was so loud I had to turn speed down. I went to bed having to fold the quilt over on its self to keep warm in the night. I woke 3 times in the night because of the noise of the heater in the end I switched it off at about 3 am. Got up this morning feeling ill. Absolutely awful stay. Yes it was snowing outside but you expect the heating to keep you warm.

View from window was the roof of the Hotel reception/restaurant so not the best. Room was nice and verry clean, bit of a let down we didnt have a small fridge or microwave, did hovever have a kettle and mugs and an ironing board, all chanels on tbe TV were blury bit of a shame you couldnt cast your phone to the TV for Netflix, YouTube ext, was a heater in the room but only blow cold air so room was rather cold considering its december.

The room was lovely, the staff outstanding very polite, we had to stay somewhere and this holiday inn came up, we had to kill 2 days, while my brother and his wife cleared covid, so there was little extra cash to spend, so we got drinks from the bar took them to the room to watch a film but the TV didn't work, reported it, but 2 days on still no TV, had to watch a film on the Mobil phone, wasn't very happy but what can you do when you have travelled 6 hours from home can't just turn round,

I haven’t had the chance to stay in a hotel since 2008 and although this was only 1 night away, it was great. The bed was so comfy and the room was quiet. I only wish I could come back more often but due to financial burdens due to a death in the family it’s unlikely I’ll get away again anytime soon. I’ve recommended the hotel to my family and friends and I imagine they’ll be booking soon. Parking is often an issue with city hotels, but there was ample space and it was secure. The staff were lovely and couldn’t have been nicer. The hotel is a credit to its chain and if an opportunity arises where I’m able to get away again then I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s easy to find, perfect for acting as a base for the area and is comfy and quiet.

Great stay. Spacious bedroom that was well equipped. Breakfast was excellent - much better quality than premier inn (apart from the coffee). Good location of hotel with a quirky locals bar open til late. Would definitely stay again

Stay was absolutely fine until there was an issue in the morning checking out. There appears to be confusion with the staff about how billing goes with virtual cards. Although i had paid when i booked on 21/6/24. They asked for a credit card to take a fee of £30 which would be returned if no services used. In the morning i found on my bank app that another £84.54 had been taken. They then went to refund me and found that i had been refunded when i shouldn't have been and later £114.54 was taken from my account. I will be phoning the reservations manager in the morning and will in future pay at the hotel

Disappointing service, my booking was confirmed for the night then 2 hrs later received a call from them they are overbooked and the lady asked me to cancel my booking. When I requested them to call Expedia the she said no its not their problem. After calling expedia support when their agent try to reach the hotel to 3 times to verify there was no answer. I would avoid this place. Expedia support staff helped find another hotel.

When I requested them to call Expedia the she said no its not their problem. After calling expedia support when their agent try to reach the hotel to 3 times to verify there was no answer. I would avoid this place. Expedia support staff helped find another hotel.

This was a very nice place to stay. Outside of the city center, it’s quiet, just across the street from shops. It was very convenient for day trips outside of town.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room was very comfortable and clean and had an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. A great hot breakfast, which was buffet style. Arriving back very late from a wedding reception, snacks were available near the front desk. The location of this hotel is excellent for onward journeys and there is good parking. I would stay here again. Happy to recommend a stay here.

I haven’t had the chance to stay in a hotel since 2008 and although this was only 1 night away, it was great. The bed was so comfy and the room was quiet. I only wish I could come back more often but due to financial burdens due to a death in the family it’s unlikely I’ll get away again anytime soon. I’ve recommended the hotel to my family and friends and I imagine they’ll be booking soon. Parking is often an issue with city hotels, but there was ample space and it was secure. The staff were lovely and couldn’t have been nicer. The hotel is a credit to its chain and if an opportunity arises where I’m able to get away again then I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s easy to find, perfect for acting as a base for the area and is comfy and quiet.

Our standard room was smallish but worked fine for a couple and it was very clean. The reception staff were very helpful when we requested an early check-in to get ready for a wedding. The thing that let the whole thing down was the breakfast experience. The food was of very poor quantity and there was not enough available when we first got to the buffet. It took a manger to make an appearance before more hot food was made available. We paid £100 for the night and I would expect better quantity ingredients to be used for this price point.

Comfortable twin bedded room. Lovely breakfasts. I am coeliac and there was no problem with the breakfast. Mine was cooked separately in the kitchen. All staff were lovely and welcoming.

I like this hotel. Check-in was quick and our room was ready. They even set the sofa bed ready for us. The breakfast, you have to pay an additional £10 per person, but the kids are free with paid adult. It was worth it though as they have a large spread for continental breakfast. The bathroom/toilet in our room is pristine cleaned and has everything you need. I would want to stay at this place again. When we arrived, it was late and we didn't have dinner yet, but the Indian restaurant across the hotel was still open. Highly recommended! Best Indian food we've had here in Scotland!

Overall the hotel is very good and the restaurant for dinner and breakfast is okay too. A few niggles the hotel need to sort out. Only one of the 2 lifts were working and the lift displays on the floors didnt work either. There was no notice to say that one of the lifts didnt work. The literature states the bar is open until 12pm, yet when we returned from a night at the theatre at 10:45 and fancied a drink to unwind the bar was closed and reception told us it closed early. We were offered room service but I dont want to drink in the hotel room alone. Also I had to wait 15 minutes for scrambled eggs to be replenished at breakfast, and had made staff aware it had run out. Niggles but it dies affect your overall opinion.

Ample and easy parking. Comfortable bed. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were good. It was Easter sunday and they had an easter bunny giving out easter eggs to the kids which was a nice touch.

Great service lovely staff. Room was tired & in need of refreshment but it is clear to see that this is in progress. The only disappointment was restaurant is also getting refurbed but meal in the Luigi’s bar (I think) on site was lovely

Fabulous hotel - room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Great little Italian restaurant and free parking. In terms of value for money this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at - would highly recommend.
