Great, very central Hotel, close to the main Train Station. Crisp , ironed white sheets, nice large bath towels. Tea, sugar and milk. No restaurant in the hotel but hundreds of coffee shops and restaurants just outside. Keypad entry wasn’t working on arrival, so it was quickly overcome by the Night Manager who arrived quickly and opened the door. Would stay again!

My husband and I are 73 and 57 and quite enjoyed staying at AdelaideParinga last weekend. There were a couple of minor issues but the current manager Kayne was amazing and easy to discuss things with. The lift was temporarily unavailable but Steve was very helpful to run your bags up and down the stairs without even being asked. There’s a little communal room near the reception desk where you can sit and watch tv, have a free pod coffee etc. which was nice and free wifi. The hotel is right in the middle of the city, couldn’t get a better location, Pancake Kitchen in the same alley as the hotel, which is open 24hrs and serves alcohol as well. Many eating places all around the hotel. Because of this, yes it is noisy most of the night, I mentioned to Kane that I would rather the location and have the noise and just buy ear plugs, then he popped out a box of ear plugs and gave me a couple of packets, so if your sensitive to noise just ask for ear plugs (free), they worked a treat, barely heard a thing. The room was big, 30sqm, separate bedroom, good size tv that swivelled on the wall bracket soo soo could watch it in either room, bathroom small but efficient. It’s not a flash hotel, but this reflects in the price. I’d give it an 8 out of 10 for cleanliness which is mainly due to the tired carpets. We would be happy to stay again, Price was great!! Location was perfect!! Management and staff were amazing!!!

This is an old and very tired building. The room I was initially given was large but window looked out onto a narrow space with air conditioners right outside the window which where very noisy. I asked to move and was given another room on fifth floor, good service. Lifts where out for the whole two days I was there but that was Ok for me because I'm fit. Other people struggled with this though. The room had frosted reinforced glass windows so I cou'dn;t see out and they where screwed shut. Two pains where smashed but no air flow throgh then so that was OK. lots of weirdness in ther room liker scorch marks on bedside tables, light fittings which clearly were not attached properly but the bed sheets where clean and the bed comfortable, room was quiet, apart from a lot of street noise early in the evening and early morning, I slept reasonably well but was woken early by noise outside both days. It just feels old and desperately in need of a refurbishment and it wasn't really that cheap compared to Ibis and other more modern hotels. I wouldn't stay there again if I had a choice

Granted this was a 3 star property and priced at the lower end of CBD properties, but I found the experience poor. The hotel (or motel as it’s called) is very old. Facilities are dated, room was small, lift was tiny, bed small and uncomfortable, pillows terrible. Room next door to mine may as well as been in my room as I could hear everything in detail, at all hours :( Parking is across the road and $27 per day so good value for that area. Reception was open for reduced hours and when needed (door wouldn’t open at 8pm one night) they were nowhere to be found. The area around the hotel felt quite unsafe. Postives? Close to public transport and eating options, close to middle of the CBD so I guess convenient for most things. Would I stay again? Definitely not.

The property is right near Rundle Mall. There is convenient paid parking across the road. The staff were super helpful at reception. Downsides are that the property needs a bit of renovation. The area is not the nicest and an experience of its own. The sound from the street outside echoes into the room at night. We wanted an affordable place to sleep - we got this. If we wanted a hotel to hang out at, then this is not the place.

Location is fantastic. In the heart of city centre with restaurants and shopping belt. Old apartment hotel but we'll maintained. Room size not big but sufficient. Excellent service from front staff. Always helpful and cheerful. Quiet within the hotel but street noises can still be heard from wee hours due location. Availability of microwave in common area. However, the area closes after 2000 everyday. Highly recommended

We had booked 2 nights and only stayed one. Arrived late at night and being in an alleyway on Hindley street there were intoxicated people congregated around the reception entry. The room was very warm with no ability to let any breeze in, the air-conditioning unit was old and not working, half eaten lollies found in the bedside drawer, one of the beds smelt strongly of something very unpleasant despite clean looking sheets. The small milks in the fridge for tea and coffee were curdled and there was a broken wall light with exposed live wires hanging from the wall. The room and paintwork of the room was generally rough looking with badly patched areas etc and the bathroom was grotty. We left by 930am the next morning, requesting a refund for the 2nd nights accommodation. The staff member told us this was not something he could authorise (fair enough) and it was the managers day off and they would be in touch. Yet to hear from anyone. I'm not normally one to complain and have never left pre-booked accommodation early but this was not good enough. 3 stars should still look and smell clean, be safe and have a functioning air conditioner if advertised to have so.

Room was not clean, marks on walls, dirty bathroom, cracked sink basin, leaking shower head, peeling paint, stained carpets, insufficient toilet paper, dirty handprints on windows, shower screen and other surfaces. Bed doona did not have a cover and no top sheet. Items left in room from previous occupants. Warned by desk staff to not walk street alone after dark as u safe. Very noisy area next door to bar. Lots of homeless and vagrants who hassle for money and cigarettes/alcohol. Would not stay here again.

I was booked into this hotel late one night and l booked out as soon as l could the next day. The room was old and tired and nothing like the pictures. The room was noisy will some sort of fan going. Sink was cracked and hair in shower. Carpets on stairs etc dirty and walls marked. I was so glad to get out of the place.

For the price it was ok however what let it down was the bottom sheet on my bed had not been changed. Maybe an oversight by cleaners but not nice to pull back the covers and see a wrinkled sheet that had clearly been slept in by someone else along with fluff and hair and bits and pieces. Odd that the top sheet was fresh

The room was cheap but the imagery given when booking was very misleading. The amenities were in very poor condition from the broken air-conditioner, to the dust buildup and damaged basin/cabinetry/bedhead. The sheets and pillows were fresh and clean but the towels provided were stained. Staff however were super-nice but the place needs a deep-clean and a thorough renovation.

This hotel is a disaster compared to what it looks on the website. The carpets are so old and dirty in the lounge as well as the bedrooms. The cleaners are friendly and so was the receptionist and manager I spoke with. However amenities are dirty. My room’s toilet had urine all over when I moved into the room. The fridge is rusty and tiny. Although it says no smoking in the room, it was smelling of cigarettes, a pungent smell. The kettle I assume has never been washed. The windows were broken and the curtains had stains. Since the windows wouldn’t close, you could hear all the noises from hindley street, a street that doesn’t sleep due to night time activities around bars. I booked for two weeks, I was glad to leave after 3days when I found somewhere else. Although I didn’t get a refund due to booking online with Expedia, I do not regret not spending one more night at this hotel after my early exit.

My room was on level 2 and overlooked a pub on the other side of a narrow lane. There was a lot of noise from pub patrons in the evening and service vehicles in the early morning. The windows faced west so the room was hot in the late afternoon. Inexpensive but take earplugs.

Beds were comfortable. Room was a good size. Airconditioner worked well but looked old & vents were broken. The Television only had a about a stations were could see, all the others were saying audio only… Hotel is very central to all shops, nightlife, arks & transport. however from 4am the noise trucks doing their deliveries or whatever is quite loud. Price was reasonable for 2 people.

There was no air conditioning or fan in the room so, with hot summer temperatures, it was like trying to sleep in a sauna. There is a very noisy all-night pub next door so opening the windows made sleeping even more difficult. Rooms are not serviced during your stay. It was just very uncomfortable.

Well located in central adelaide. Reception area is dated, but our 5th floor room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, with a good shower and strong wifi. Heather, the live in manager, was exceptionally helpful, even at a late after hours check in. Excellent choice for a reasonably priced stay.

Staying at this hotel was such a smooth experience! From the time I arrived at the front desk in the morning and being able to check in early to the time I picked up my bags late after check out the staff there were absolutely fantastic! Yes the building is older and it does show a little but the rooms are comfortable, clean and easy to access! It had been a couple years since my last stay in Adelaide but for a budget stay this was my favourite place in the centre of the CBD

Overall too very good Check in was difficult as contrary to listing closed at 7pm no 8pm as in listing and in room info. Had to call Queensland after hour service to finally get access. Easley inside by young person but then abused by man that have to wait outside till get access. No place you wait in street

Manager very helpful with information that we sought regarding Adelaide, transport etc. Very friendly. She was actively maintaining vigilance over access by undesirables and reassuring us of safety in the grotty precinct nearby. Quick obvernight stay. Location is excellent. The lady at reception was lovely. Fast check-in. Room was a bit dated, could do with a facelift. Bed was very comforable. Bit of road noise and rowdy people on the streets through the night.
