I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton De Witt. Staff were very friendly and courteous, the room and hotel was very clean and the restaurant was convenient and welcoming for both breakfast and dinner. I used the gym too which was useful and nice to have. I will definitely return when next in Amsterdam.

Went back to Amsterdam after 30 years and this hotel was a nice find. Centrally located and within easy walking distance of most attractions. Hotel has free bicycles for use which was a nice perk. Buffet breakfast was excellent addition and was included in our rate. Concierge and front desk help were a lot of help with finding restaurants. Although Amsterdam is not cheap relative to other cities in Europe these days. Also, request a quiet room in the back. We did and were very pleased with the night time quiet in an otherwise late running city.

Great location, not far from central station and a tram stop. Also offers parking just round the corner which was great for us as we had rented a car for one night of our stay and the staff were very accommodating. The room was spotless and very nice. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Would return if we are ever in Amsterdam again

Brilliant location and excellent daily happy hour with free drinks! The hotel was clean and well managed with great facilities. Brilliant location opposite the Central station and within walking distance of the Square and Red Light district. Our room was dual aspect over looking the street. We had a great view of the hustle and bustle but without any of the noises or disturbances. The only minor criticisms of the room would be the lack of overhead light in the bedroom and not having an isolated light for the toilet room so that it can be used without disturbing your partner during the night.

Really loved my stay! The hotel is clean and has beautiful cafe, bar, and restaurant. Gym is clean and modern. And the free bikes for exploring were an added plus. Definitely will come back.

I totally enjoyed this property. It had the right balance of comfortable community space, café, restaurant, which were very good. The room was modern and even though I had a corner room facing out on two different streets, it was amazingly quiet. Maybe that’s because of the insulation they use and maybe it’s because Central Amsterdam is not frantic congestion of horn honking taxis. I would absolutely stay here again. It’s convenient to everything in Amsterdam and especially Amsterdam Centraal.

일단 중앙역에서 도보 5분 정도. 바로앞에 트램 정류장있고 식당도 많아서 위치가 너무너무 좋았습니다. 가격은 좀 높은 편이지만, 직원들도 친절하고 조식 뷔페도 괜잖은편, 방도 깨끗하고 특히 넓어서 높은 가격이 아깝지는 않았습니다. 암스테르담에 다시 온다면 재방문 의사100프로 입니다!

Additional free facilities such as umbrellas, morning coffee and social wine were a real bonus. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location with excellent staff. The only slight negative was the room was a little stuffy due to the lack of/poor ventilation and no opening windows.

Everything here was top notch, but most particularly the service from the front desk, to the concierge, to the food staff. The hotel was easy access to the trains and trams, and everything inside was clean and orderly. Anything we asked for from the front desk, was delivered promptly, and everyone was so professional. Gilbert at the font desk and Duke at the concierge stood out for us.

Hallways smelled very bad. Bathrooms had poor ventilation. Bartender at the bar was very rude. Someone opened our hotel room door while our do not disturb sign was on and startled us while we were in bed. Overall not worth the price we paid and doesn’t live up to the Kimpton name.

Located very close to the Central Train Station, this hotel was an oasis in a busy area of the city. The staff, the hotel and restaurant were all perfect. The room was attractive and very quiet even though the area around the hotel is not very pretty. I would stay there again, in a heartbeat.

Excellent hotel in a wonderful location: trams stop right out front go everywhere, and you can walk to many interesting sites (including the central station for the train to/from the airport). The staff were friendly and capable, the lobby is comfortable, and the rooms are spacious and well maintained. (This is the first hotel I’ve stayed in that has figured out how to keep the air conditioning from blowing directly on the bed.) We had a meal at the Celia restaurant, which was also excellent.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Centraal station and a stones throw from various shopping and food options. The staff is attentive and helpful. The social hour between 4 and 5 pm is worth attending (hello, free Heineken, wine and soft drinks with light snacks). The room itself was fine, no complaints there. Lastly, the buffet breakfast is excellent. A very solid option when staying in Amsterdam.

We had a great room and the hotel is in an excellent location close to the train station. Unfortunately there was a long cue for breakfast and unapologetic staff that put a bit of a bad taste in our mouths. I recommend staying here but skipping the breakfast.

I rented two rooms at the De Witt for my niece and for me. We were both quite pleased with all aspects of the hotel. In addition to the quality of the rooms and public spaces, the hotel has one of Amsterdam’s finest restaurants, Celia, and it’s location, close to Centraal Station and the Palace, is convenient, within walking distance of many of Amsterdam’s major attractions.
