Pretty clean! Staff are extremely helpful!! The hotel recently added an elevator (manually operated by the rider) that goes from lobby to 3rd floor, but to go to 4th (has only 4 floors) you need to take the stairs. Note that the stairs are spiral kind which could be a little difficult to take if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. But if you don’t, take the stairs, it’s part of the Amsterdam architectural charm!

Clean lovely spot, walkable to tram lines. The only issue is with the elevator and stairs, elevator only covers the first 3 floors, and I needed to climb super dense and tight stairs to the forth floor where my room was. Awesome staff, got a bunch of cool recommendations.

Despite being in a very popular neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet this hotel was. Staff was amazing! So helpful. My only issue was the elevator. It was out-of-prder and the stairs were extremely narrow and steep. If you have mobility issues then this could be a big problem for you. Other than thhat we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

Be prepared that this is in a traditional small Amsterdam style house so everything is narrow. My room was on the 4th floor but their elevator (glorified forklift) only went to the 3rd floor so I had to carry my suitcase up a tiny windy staircase one floor.

Was here for 4 days staying in amsterdam, easy walking distance, the rooms were tiny and ours was covered in mould. We found it to be freezing the heating wasnt working. We had to ask for fresh towels. Staff were friendly enough. Stairs are very narrow expected in amsterdam and there is a very small lift. Wouldnt recomend and dont think its value for money very expensive for the conditions.

The location is great, the rest needs improvement. The mattress is wafer thin, you can hear quite a bit of noise at night even with the window closed, the shower is a dribble and the bedlinen were dirty i.e. black curly hair inside the bed when I got there and I have blond straight hair. On the positive side, they have a small lift which most hotels in the area don't.

It was in a great location and walkable distance to most of the attractions. We had a terrible experience in the room we stayed, stench of sewage coming from the bathroom was unbearable at night. We couldn’t sleep and I had to crack a window on a chilly night. Hotel blamed it on the canals. But I will beware of that.

The hotel was perfect for our 4 day stopover in the city. Very walkable. Nice little sandwich bar closeby. The staff were all very nice. Rooms were clean, beds comfy. Great stay!

The property was clean; however there was mold in the shower, which they cleaned and then allowed me to change rooms. The next room had a bit of mold too and the curtain in the bathroom just fell down when I touched it. A nice, well located place, but not sure that it’s worth the price.

The hotel is clean and has everything we needed. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The area is nice and quiet, allowing us to get good night's rest. The staff are friendly and helpful. You must be able to climb narrow Dutch-style stairs if your room is located in the upper floors. The location is very convenient for walking to the Rijkmuseum, Vondelpark and other places in the museum district. We liked the peacefulness of the area and are very happy that we chose this hotel and this area of Amsterdam for our stay in the city.

The stairs inside were scary. Very steep. Luckily it had a lift. Not an elevator though. The room was extremely tight with no room to walk around. The shower did not have a door so water flowed everywhere. Floor was always wet. It was very clean and had a great view, The location was great and close to the several attractions. We were able to walk everywhere from here.

I really liked the canal view room and the location slightly outside of the central and red light district. The proximity to public transport made getting around a breeze. The nearby market was also very handy. The room was clean and comfortable.

The 3 stars are only because of the hotel location and friendly staff. The property has really narrow set of stairs and lifts weren't working. Thankfully we were just on the first floor but we saw many people struggling and it was definitely a trip hazard. Our room itself was quite small, so much so that as soon you open the door, you were 2 steps away from bed. It was near stairs area and quite noisy. We could hear our next door and upstairs neighbours almost all hours of the day. On top of that, the bed had an extra thin mattress on top of the actual fitted mattress (not sure why) and it was it uncomfortable to sleep on as it kept moving and it didn't fit the bed. It was uncomfortable, noisy and overall not worth the money.

Location wasn’t too far from public transportation. Rooms were pretty cramped for our family of 4 and wall were thin so was easy to hear neighbors, but at the end of the day the key is comfortable bed, clean, and hot shower which hotel got all those marks.

Easily assessible and walking distance to train station. Staff was very friendly. We lucked out with an early check in that made a huge difference from coming off a red eye flight. Unfortunately the elevator was out of service but the staff offered to carry our luggage up the stairs. Room was modern and everything worked as should.

Was worried after reading reviews that I wouldnt manage the stairs so phoned hotel who were really helpful and said they had a lift. Apart from the steep steps at entrance ( there is a handrail) I used the lift which is small but ok for 2 people and luggage. Got to hotel at 11am and was greeted by lovely receptionist who labelled our cases and said they would be in our room at 3pm waiting for us. Was given our room key and a map. She circled on map a few places we wanted to visit and told us where to get a tram. Room was very clean, nice size and had all we needed. Hairdryer, shower gel, tea, coffee, kettle, coffee machine and small fridge. No view from room but that didnt matter as we were only sleeping in the room. 5 minute walk to tram and found a great little cafe for breakfast. The receptionist also pre booked a taxi for us to airport which I would class as executive for €45. Would definately use this hotel if lucky enough to visit Amsterdam again!

The staff went above and beyond to assist us. The stairs were very steep and so they put us on the first floor which helped a bit but we knew these were the conditions when we booked the hotel. There were multiple dining options within walking distance and we were happy with that. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. It was reasonably priced compared to others in the area, rooms were very clean and modern (with air conditioning) and the lady on the front desk was very friendly. It's located about 20 mins walk outside of the city centre in a really nice area of town. Ideal for any couple as we were staying in Amsterdam

The hotel is clean and has everything we needed. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The area is nice and quiet, allowing us to get good night's rest. The staff are friendly and helpful. You must be able to climb narrow Dutch-style stairs if your room is located in the upper floors. The location is very convenient for walking to the Rijkmuseum, Vondelpark and other places in the museum district. We liked the peacefulness of the area and are very happy that we chose this hotel and this area of Amsterdam for our stay in the city.

A quaint, small, efficiently run hotel an a convenient, quiet location. Very handy for the museum area. Within walking distance of most attractions in Amsterdam. No breakfast facilities, but that wasn’t a major issue.

No lobby. No restaurant/cafe and no breakfast. Small room with one small desk and chair. Hard to use non-intuitive thermostat control resulting in too hot room at night. Bathroom needs shelves and hooks. Shower insufficiently enclosed. Underwhelming price/value ratio. Good location. Good coffee/kettle set up.

Decent location in walking distance from bars and restaurants. Quite a long walk from central station so if your on foot you’ll need to plan for this however trams stop nearby. Room was small but clean, and easy access in and out of the hotel via the room card.

The staff went above and beyond to assist us. The stairs were very steep and so they put us on the first floor which helped a bit but we knew these were the conditions when we booked the hotel. There were multiple dining options within walking distance and we were happy with that. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

The hotel was typical for a European stay. I didn’t realize until the last day that there was a small fridge in the room. The room was very small. No o food services at the hotel, but a sandwich shop down the street.

Vriendelijke staff. Geen ontbijtmogelijkheid in het hotel, maar buiten het hotel op 5m wandelafstand kan je een ontbijt bij Bosco nemen. Badkamer is klein maar doet zijn job. Het bed is smal en zeer zacht, je rolt naar het midden toe. Ze spreken er enkel Engels.

Great stay and great service. Left our bags before check-in and they where brought up to our room when we came back. Very clean and nice room. Bed was OK. Location was perfect! Close to everything and nice bars and restaurants around.

We stayed at NL Hotel District Leidseplein for one night with my mother. Hotel was located close to Leidseplein with tram connections as well as canal tours. Also walkable from the museums and the cool De 9 Straatjes area. Our room was rather small, which was fine. The elevator was something! It is very small, not a proper elevator, and didn't go to the 4th floor - so if you are not young and nimble, wouldn't recommend. The stairs are so small and difficult that my mom couldn't use them. Also, there is no breakfast nor a place to have one - although cafeterias nearby. Would recommend this hotel for young couples looking for an affordable place to stay.

We rented 4 rooms for 8 people and we liked that the rooms were exceptionally clean. Each room had a remote control that allowed us to set the AC to the temperature we wanted. Some needed it cold to sleep. We found it conveniently located and found a lot of things close, like a grocery store. There was a refrigerator in each room, so we bought water, soda and snacks. Walking out of the hotel to the right (East) was a lot of things like the Rijksmuseum. We walked to Anne Frank too. Had breakfast at Eggs Benaddicted, which was AMAZING. We highly recommend this hotel. There are steep steps to get inside, but we had no issue with that. Loved this place. Nice people at the front desk.
