Comfort Suites Denver North - Westminster

Hotel cleanliness was OK! Not an Awesome neighborhood, homeless people out front when we got here but overall pretty safe. Close to anything you need though! Biggest problem was when we checked in I asked how late the pool was open and the girl said, “ Oh our pool is closed due to a heater issue”! Not even a sorry! I think it’s very unfair to not know that when I set up the reservation! There is literally 10 hotels 1 minute away with pools for less than $20.00 more!

The hotel itself looked very worn out. The pool was closed and looked dirty. Room overall experience was not the greatest starting with the room smelling like a nursing home. That experience alone left my family and I no choice but to go purchase lysol and air fresheners. Do jot think I'll be coming back to this property. Definitely not worth the price it is being advertised.

When checking in, the lady at the counter acted like we were inconveniencing her, not friendly at all. The toilet clogged every time someone used it. The shower didn't look as though they tried very hard to clean it. The pool water was green and gelt slimy. The last night of our stay we hot up at 5 am to shower and there was no water.

The breakfast was good and they didn’t shut it down early. Unfortunately the washer & dryers were NOT working. And the vendor never came to fix or empty money (which supposedly was the issue).

Pool was out of order for our entire stay. That was one of the amenities that I specifically wanted.

The lobby & breakfast areas were clean and well kept, The coffee tasted old 3 out of the 4days we were there. The indoor pool looked to be clean. The elevator definitely needs some work as the panel on the right side of it is loose and 3x’s as I was going down the elevator it shook and made loud noises. It definitely startled me and I did say something to the staff. The hallway leading to my room definitely needed to be vacuumed as I noticed the same dirt pile , looked to of been spilled from a trash bag was there all 4 days of our stay! Our rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable as were the pillows and bedding! The bathroom definitely needed a little more attention in the cleanliness. There was hair in the sink as well as on the tile. The hotel states it has been “NEWLY RENOVATED “, I’m not too sure where as there were loose tiles on the floor in the bathroom and looked as though all they did was paint over what was existing in the whole room. There was no dresser in either of the 2 rooms we rented so we had to live out of our suitcases. The outside of the hotel definitely needs some attention. The bushes are overgrown and big potholes in the parking lot! This hotel is ok, but not for what we paid for it!

This used to be a pretty nice area. Not so much anymore. This place may be newly renovated, but it’s like lipstick on a pig. Beautiful fixtures hung on walls with huge indentations in them. Attractive panel flooring installed with gaps at the endcaps and between slats. This place needed more than just fixture and surface changes. Of course, with the neighborhood being what it is… nice rooms wouldn’t last very long. Very disappointing.

The shower curtain was broken. We had to beg for breakfast to be replaced before the time ended. The pool was FREEZING when we were told it was a “heated” indoor pool.

The bathroom faucets were reversed-Hot on the Cold side, etc. Elevator sounded like it was going to stop at any minute. Only ice machine on the first floor. Breakfasts were poor imitations of other Comfort Inns we've experienced.

Dirty.

Not cleaned, smelled like smoke in a non smoking room, dog barking all night across the hallway, paper thin walls where you can hear people all night. Had a 3 night reservation but left after the first night. Would not recommend.

Everything from the lobby to the room was dirty and gross. I cant even mention all of the nastiness, then we got to the room and I got even more grossed out. The lock on the door frame was also installed incorrectly and not even all the way, just flopped around. I think one of the worst things was the AC, i will attach a picture of it. For the price and pictures on the website, this place should've been a lot better. Severely disappointed.

Great location with very clean rooms and professional employees. The building however is in dire need of an overhaul. The floors in the bathroom were cracked, the walls (though freshly painted) showed many signs of being patched, and the elevator jolted every time it landed.

I don’t understand the positive reviews of this property. My main complaint is the filth I found in this hotel. While there are many examples, the primary example is the floors. Upon my arrival, I spilled some water on the bathroom floor. I used a washcloth to wipe it up. The washcloth was black from the dirt on the floor. This was within 5 minutes of arriving so I was not the cause of the filth. The floors were filthy throughout the property.

We were in town for a softball tournament. When we went through first room, it had an odor that we thought would go away once we turned on the AC. It however did not. Then we started looking around the room as we normally do. It did not appear that the carpet floor was vacuumed at all. The wall had spots/gunk on them around the room and in the bathroom. Finally we always pull apart the beds. The sheets and blankets on one of the beds had many different stains on them and the mattress cover had blood on it. We were moved to a different room which was much cleaner and without odors, however, the AC in the second room was not functional. Fortunately it’s not mid summer and it was late so we were able to bear through the warm room temps. The kids decided they wanted to go jump in the pool real quick and they did, however the water was disgusting and green in color. When my son got out of the pool he did not smell like chlorinated pool water so it was off to the bath for a real good cleaning after being in that pool. Breakfast in the morning was below average “hotel breakfast” so we grabbed food from a different location. Overall,

Had to wait as no one to check us in. A/C rattled loudly all night, hard to sleep Breakfast was great!

As soon as we got there the second room had a backed up toliet..we had to use plunger the whole time. The first room never had service for the tv or internet the whole weekend. We were told its bad unscrew the cable wires and keep trying never worked. We had to buy a fan to curculate the air the air conditioner doesnt blow the air...room was hot. Beds were ok, the pillows were comfy. They did not clean our room dor 2nd day no clean towels...The elevator screeches and sounds like it gonna break. OVERALL it was fine, just not a 4 star as claimed to be. 2 star. ..

No Wi-Fi for Netflix on tv and a little run down, room was noisy from AC and some other noise that couldn’t identify.

All was good except our mattress. One side was softer and very uncomfortable. Otherwise very good.

The TV in room 211 wasn't clear. The picture was sharp one minute then fuzzy the next 2 days.

I was in Denver for a week, I stayed at another hotel but it was so dirty and the staff at the 1st hotel was bad. But everyone at Comfort suites Westminster was extremely accommodating and pleasant to do business with. The young lady who checked me in was pleasant

There wasnt much parking... I was the account holder and the lobby lady gave someone who wasnt a key to her room all because she said she knew us. Luckily she was part of our group but employee never called me to ask me.

Didn’t like: was told they would process a credit back to me because we checked out a day early from a week’s stay, no credit has been applied. Didn’t like: had to request to be moved because 1st room assigned smelled like dog. Didn’t like: no assistance was given when someone inconsiderately left their clothes unattended in the washer and dryer for 4 hours when others needed to use the machines. Liked: room was quiet and bed was comfortable.

Nice stay and incredibly friendly staff. We were pleasantly greeted at check in, and they were able to get all four families that traveled next door to each other. I also had an Amazon package delivered to the hotel that they had waiting for me. The continental breakfast was good! The dining room was very busy, so they opened up a conference room for additional breakfast seating. Very accommodating! The RTD station was close for transportation into Denver which made our plans easy. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

It took over 30 minutes to check in because they couldn't find my reservation through hotels.com on their end. It was a pain and they weren't friendly or very helpful.

We extended our stay after having two good nights there. Despite being assured that housekeeping would be by, it didn’t happen for days. Two separate people confirmed that it was in the system to service our room. Returned back to find no one had - back to back days. Went to ask for towels and was told none were available. A few random ones were unearthed somewhere. Told more were being sent up that night. Didn’t happen then or ever. The last nights we were there included screaming people and slamming doors in the adjacent rooms. People stumbling through the hallway drunk or on something. It went from a good experience to a scary, dirty, and terrible one.

The room was decent. Comfortable bed but unfortunately we were next to an area that was very noisy- even at 3am. The sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain for our entire stay (3 nights) and when we told the front desk they said they would send someone up, but no one ever came.

No bedding for sofa bed, dirty bed sheet, and nobody at the front desk the whole night.

For a comfort inn not very nice rooms smelled bad and person front desk rude

I would never even think about staying here again. There was a lot i could look past like the gross amount of food dumped around the parking lot that was left for days. Or how the elevators were never cleaned so we used the stairs. But what really got to me was how they completely disregarded the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Apparently they only clean the rooms every third day so I don\'t even know what they were doing in my room on the second day even with the sign on the door handle. I could tell they were in my room because they removed the sign and put it inside the room. On the third day, our last day, they walked in while we were changing. It was 9am not even close to check out time. When I yelled they quickly closed the door. So I went and asked if they needed anything to which they giggled and said no and walked away. If you\'re a mom or single woman or are staying there with anything of value you may want to avoid because after that I was terrified and just thankful it was our last day.

We stayed for 10 days. The staff were kind and accommodating. We used the pool regularly. The hotel is very easy to access and very centrally, located. It walking distance to a park and ride. Bus 120x goes right downtown Denver. Very reasonable adult fares with kids free. Will stay again when we return. Family of 3.

Very close to I 25. The interior of the hotel is nice.

Quiet and close to shopping and restaurants.

Perfect for short stay in Denver. Conveniently located to Wagon R PnR, where the 120X takes you directly to Union Station.

Towels were stained, fridge legs were broken so wouldn't stay shut, toilet paper holder was broken, homeless/drug users always by the side entrance that I used so definitely did not go out at night. I was traveling alone (I am female) and did not feel safe at all. I had stayed here about 5 years ago and it was nothing like this so that's why I chose this location again but will not be staying here ever again.

It was convenient for where my work was located. Lots of shopping in the area.

Check in was easy. Room was clean. Some shady stuff going on outside and around the hotel, which is not their fault, but I definitely wouldn't bring my young family here.

Do not book here! This hotel is in an unsafe area with homeless people wandering aimlessly. The hotel itself was dirty, you could see the dirty walls, all linens in the room were stained, room smelled musty plus they have the audacity to charge a $150 incident fee. It was a horrible experience staying here. We left after only sleeping a few hours because we felt unsafe. Upon leaving, there were sleeping homeless people steps from the entrance.

This property was a little older, but does allow dogs. There was an extra 150 deposit for damages that they required at check in even though I had already prepaid plus 30 dollar pet fee, that was a bit of a suprise, but they assured me that it would be refunded, but could take up to 10 days. There is a large homeless population in the area, that did make me feel uneasy, but they never really did anything. There was also a police presence in the area, so I think that helped things not escalate. The room itself was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

There was no one attending the breakfast area until asked for. Room was okay cleaned and housekeeping cleaning only after 3 days unless you remember to ask.

The property is not being maintained. The free breakfast was bad and not restocked well.

The hotel was in a very good location for us to stay after leaving our mountain vacation, and then being able to get to the airport easily the morning of our flight home. The breakfast had a lot of variety and quality.

Check in was easy and staff was very friendly! Our room was clean and comfortable. There were a few items that needed repair but not so bad that we were absolutely uncomfortable. overall our stay was great! We had a fridge and microwave which I always like to have when travelling. Breakfast was pretty good. It would have been nice if there were more protein options like hard boiled eggs or something but I did enjoy the waffles, bagels and fruit. There's a cracker barrel across the street and a diner on the other side and a gas station near by, which was convenient! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!
