Great as simply a bed for the night. Mattress rather noisy and no air con although plug in fan was very efficient. Good breakfast for the money. No lift.

Always a very comfortable stay, the staff are always very welcoming. The rooms are always clean and spacious.The breakfast is always good and plentiful, Overall a very convenient place to stay although the shared access with the macdonalds can be problematic at busy times if your trying to leave the hotel

The rooms are a good size and staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was adequate and plentiful. The problems with this hotel was the smell of dampness in the room, just before we left we found the net curtain had mould on them in a few places. Toilet didn't flush very well and don't use the cold tap on the shower as the hot water is not very hot.

I thought that the property was economical for what little amount of time I was spending there. Even though the room was clean, the shower curtain had a lot of mold on it and needed to be replaced. The bathroom really needed an update/renovation. An elevator/lift is needed at this location.

The hotel was very warn down, with the bathroom looking the worst, there was a wobly tile. And there was a stain on my bedsheet that hasnt come off after washing the sheets. The hotel definitely could do with a refurbishment. The staff at the reception were nice and welcoming.

Nice little place. Friendly staff and good buffet breakfast choices. The room was a little outdated and the towels and linen could really do with renewing as they were a little stained and yellow. Located right on top of the main road but had a nice room view over farm fields so it was quiet and peaceful enough to feel like we were relaxing.

Hotel is in poor conditions. it looks old and much worn. major issue is cleanliness; it needs a big improvement. pillow covers with stains, towels replaced daily but sometimes they are stained. I will not come back

The check-in took a long time. It was complicated as the only gentlemen checking in guests also needed to go to the bar between one check-in and another to serve drinks to the guests at the bar; he was also taking phone calls. So the poor man working alone was trying to do his best, but the management clearly failed. The mattresses were tired, and their springs were poking my back. It urgently needs new mattresses, at least in the room I stayed. The room was smelling strong cleaning products. The breakfast is good, not great, but good.

The location of the comfort inn is a big plus for anyone visiting Arundel (wonderful historic town & castle) or even attending an event at goodwood estate (less than 1/2 hr drive) and travel time at just over 1 hr from gatwick airport . Breakfast was an optional extra and provided the usual choice of comfort inn fried breakfast and a fairly standard choice of continental selection but does provide enough to set you up for the day , if you so choose, although personally would have liked to have porridge on the menu (health reasons). Check in and out was well organised and without fault. The rooms were dated but clean enough with just some areas, especially the bathroom area requiring a bit of TLC due to age and general wear & tear. Room rate was expensive for what it is but then again during the goodwood revival weekend most prices tend to be generally inflated. Car parking availability on site was good. There are plenty of restaurants in Arundel town (10 minute drive away) to choose from and cater for most tastes.

Our room we had no TV because it’s was broken, the bathroom tap was broken and was tripping all night so keep me away I told the the lady in morning she said do a email ? Which was not a great help really

This hotel was very disappointing considering the price, the bed was small and uncomfortable, the kettle kept going on & off for some reason so we had to get up and unplug it, their were random noises from pipes or something and the rooms have very thin walls, on a positive note the bathroom is a nice size

We are staying following a funeral. Emma checked us in early so we could change after our long journey before the service. After the service, the clean and comfortable bed was a welcome relief. Friendly staff great breakfast. Very quiet stay.

A good breakfast served. Very helpful staff. The only problem we encountered was when we were leaving the car park. The queue for McDonald's drive through blocked the exit. A very kind lady let us out but we had to wait in the queue until we could bypass the drive through queue. It was only a few minutes and it only happened when we went out early evening.

This is an amazing hotel. It is modern, clean, but with character still. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There were two small downsides. 1.The breakfast was pretty bland, with cheap sausages and bacon. 2. With the very close McDonalds and BP petrol station, getting in and out with the car could be a pain, and there is no way you could get to it easily when walking. The latter is obviously not their fault, but the former they could work on. We'd stay again, just skip the breakfast and go to the local Beefeater instead.

A great stay, rooms are very comfortable, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, it is surprisingly quiet for being near the A27 and next door to McDonalds, with rabbits bobbing about outside . About 15 mins walk into Arundel.

Breakfast was limited choice & not very well cooked. Soggy Hash browns were not nice. The room was spacious and clean, although the decorations were somewhat dated. The worst point was the HUGE MACDONALDS next door, with thousands of people queueing to get their fix of fast food.

This was one of the lower cost hotels in the area, but thought it would be OK for a one night business trip. However I was really pleasantly surprised, the hotels is spotlessly clean, refubished to a high standard, and breakfast was good too. I will definitely stay again.

Hotel is outdated, no lift, grubby carpets, very 1980s. holes in curtains, badly in need of updating. Clean sheets, comfy bed quiet at back but cows mooing a lot in early morning ha ha. noisy at front which faces garage and macdonalds. Breakfast was cheapest possible ingredients, limited range of food, cheap bread. Just bog-standard. Not worth £125 per night. After long day out, returned and they hadn't made up my room. had to relocate to another room. staff very friendly, but everything cheap = even the ironing board was rickety outdated and had no soft cover to it. All very poundlandy. And they dont do dinner.

very nice 2 night stay. Nice welcome and hotel very clean. some items in room a little worn and tited around the edges but didn't detract from our stay. Would have liked some healthier choices at breakfast. semi skimmed milk, better quality bread etc. Asked for boiled eggs but not available.
