Due to severe weather, our trip was delayed so the motel owners were very accommodating in letting us stay another night despite being heavily booked. Our stay at Taylor’s was excellent! We arrived very late in the evening but a key was made available and the heating had been turned on which was a relief after such a long trip. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom spacious for the room size. Kitchen was fully equipped with a full oven which was a nice surprise. Conveniently located too, close to the necessary shops and easy to find. All in all a great stay - thanks team!

Ash button is a big city. Restaurant and surfer market are nearby by just driving a few minutes or walking 15 minutes from the motel. Staff is nice to give a room tour. And parking is easy in the motel. The only thing needs to pay more attention is the sound insulation. Noise from upstairs and using the toilet or shower inside the room can be clearly hear.

A great motel for the price. Walking distance to the shopping/ restaurant area. A bit tired but clean, and room had a great layout. Small kitchen had oven, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, plates, utensils etc. Even a little dining table for 2! We really enjoyed our stay here. Fully recommend.

This was a stop over on route but it couldn't have been better. The lady who booked us in showed us to our room and explained how everything worked, gave advice on where to eat. The room was large comfortably and in great condition. We have stayed in a lot s of hotels/motels this trip, some a lot more expensive but have to say for service, comfort and condition this is the top so far.

A fantastic motel. Beds were great and it was nice and quiet. Good bathroom and kitchen facilities. It meant we could have good meals in our room when not out dining. Our hosts were very accommodating with a last minute change to our booking. I highly recommend the motel and will be back next time we're in Ashburton.

Our group chose to stay in Ashburton prior to flying out of Christchurch the next day. Taylors Motel was a great choice. Spacious and clean rooms (we had the 2-bedroom) and lounge area. Kitchen (fridge and stove) was small, however had everything we needed. Quiet location and short walk to shops, cafes. Friendly owners and easy check-in/out.

The room (king spa suite) was on par with much more expensive hotels that I have stayed in. Cleanliness was excellent. The only thing I wished that was included was instructions on how to use the coffee machine, and I also definitely missed having late night room service. Parking directly outside our room was great, and the quality of the room far exceeded expectations. Reception was also so friendly and welcoming
