Grecian Bay

I have been to the hotel many times. The best place in Cyprus. Right on a beautiful beach with more than enough beach chairs and umbrellas (belong to the hotel and you can even make a reservation of your favorite place if you wish for the whole length of your stay). Staff is above any expectations. The place is quiet, decent and welcoming as I only saw at other 5 star resorts.

Wir (Familie mit Teenager) hatten ein schöne Zeit in Grecian Bay. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Der Balkon mit der seitlichen Meersicht war auch top. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und fein. Es hatten immer liegen frei sowohl am Strand als auch am Pool. Fitnesscenter war auch ausreichend. Einziger Mangel unserer Sicht nach, dass der Pool zu heiss war. Das haben wir in vielen südlichen Ländern mit heissen Temperaturen noch nie erlebt. Das Meer im Zypern ist sowieso immer ein Traum. Auch gibt es am Abend keine Unterhaltung, mit Teenagerm gingen wir sowieso ins lebhafte Zentrum, aber ein Abend mit Unterhaltung im Hotel wäre auch schön gewesen. Wir würden wieder in das Grecian Bay buchen.

My wife and I had a great time at the Grecian Bay Hotel. The greatest part of our incredibly relaxing vacation was laying by the beach under their large palm frond umbrellas on comfy chaise lounge chairs and swimming in their gorgeous and very large pool. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. The soft sandy beach overlooking the turquoise and deep blue Mediterranean sea is steps away from the hotel, which is great because it is hot and humid in the summer, when we visited; not great weather for long walks. While on the beach or by the pool we ordered food using the convenient QR codes unique to each umbrella, and the food was brought out quickly and right to us. Talk about service! The food from the Beach Bar and the Grill was okay, not great. Still, the convenience can’t be beat. The rooms in the hotel are large, clean, and comfortable. The towels were the best I’ve had at a hotel - large and plush. And the rain shower feature felt indulgent and satisfying. Our king sized bed was very comfortable and we slept well every night. Finally, returning to location, the Grecian Bay is close to many restaurants and right next to a bus stop, making going out very easy. One last positive - we stayed later ad the hotel allowed us to continue to use the grounds and pool, as well as a changing room with showers. Overall, we were so pleased with our stay and will absolutely be recommending the Grecian Bay Hotel to our friends and family. Con: not great internet in room.

Wunderbares Hotel mit eigenem Sandstrand und toller Poolanlage in Ayia Napa, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und Dinner, einzig die Organisation der Strandliegen ist etwas umständlich Kommen gerne wieder

Hôtel très bien situé, tout est accessible à pied. Nombreux services dans l’hôtel, plage privée, grande piscine, sauna..

Very nice pool area, and the bar with the view over the beach, could spend hours there. Nice greenery. Very kind international staff serving us. Though the building is a bit dated.

Potential nach oben ist ausreichend vorhanden was den derzeitigen Zustand der Unterkunft angeht. Würde das Hotel als 4* Unterkunft bezeichnen. Es hat eine sehr gute Lage mit Liegen direkt am Strand, die leider in schlechtem Zustand sind, diese gehören rigoros ausgetauscht. Generell gehört das Restaurantkonzept mit Beach bar, Grill Bar mit servierten gerichten in Fast Food pappteller optik überdacht. Rauchen gehört zumindest in ausgewiesene Raucherbereiche verbannt, denn man liegt am Strand und ist dem laufend als Passivraucher ausgesetzt. Das Reservierungssystem mit liegen bis 10:30 Uhr reserviert, danach frei fördert die Unart des Reservierens nur noch mehr. Schimmel in den Nassbereichen, Laute Umgebung bei offener balkontür in der nacht und damit sind nicht die nachtlokale gemeint. Das was wirklich ausgesprochen gut war, ist die Qualität im Spa bei Massagen und Gesichtsbehandlungen, jedoch ist auch hier Gym & Co stark renovierungsbedürftig. Also viel Luft nach oben bei einer an sich tollen Lage.

Not a 5star, only the spa , gym , indoor pool qualify for this. …3star at best, the Grecian chain need to invest in their staff & customerr service training. No staff at breakfast to greet guests formally and ensure sign in that they are actual guests and not walk ins. Sunbeds at the beach are allocated in first come first serve…at £500 per night it’s insulting to your guests to have this arrangement. Aqua aerobics class was out of touch and dated. The instructor had a more discerning clientele but decided to conduct a class with a chosen tracks which were jarring, dated & loud techno music…please update your music choices which will enhance and enrich participants experience while entertaining the spectators around the pool area. Do not order a Classic Martini …bar staff do not know how to make one . Mine came in a tumbler, with ice no slice & made with a martini mix !!!!

Siamo stati già molte volte in questa struttura. Tutto bene tranne i bambini che non dovrebbero avere libero accesso al self service della colazione e i bagnini che creano confusione ogni mattina vendendosi i posti assegnati in spiaggia alle 1030. Se prenoto non devo avere il problema che il mio posto spiaggia venga assegnato ad altri.

Beautiful gardens and beautiful Sandy beach walking distance to a small marina where the tour boats are located. This is a tru 5 Star hotel! I will return again.

Definitely not a 5* property, Expedia should revisit the rating and downgrade it. At best 4*. It's got good sea approach but most other facilities are poor. The safe/locker in the room didn't work, the cleaning staff wouldn't clean the room properly, no iron given in the room even upon request, complimentary water bottle had to be asked every time, neither room was upgraded nor late checkout request honoured. Also food quality is average at best. Staff were helpful though, but that didn't help much.

Overall, it’s not 5 star hotel. Stuff unfriendly, room cleaning was not good at all. Area near the sea, which hotel own - always was not clean . I stayed many times at Grecian Sands and it’s absolutely amazing hotel . Grecian Bay is disappointing experience

Stayed for a week in November 2023 expecting deserted beaches and town but, unusually for this time of year, we had beautiful weather and quiet lively town and beaches. The hotel was perfect - lovely clean rooms, and friendly, helpful staff. My wife used the spa and mentioned how good the staff were, particularly the beautician from Bali (sorry didn’t get her name). Thank you for a lovely week Grecian Bay hotel.

Room was clean, the hotel itself was also nice and clean, but maybe nit the most modern interior.

Rooms were clean, bathrooms are nice , big and modern. The hotel is right on the beach. Beautiful beach and nice sun beds.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans cet hôtel 5 étoiles. Globalement, le séjour s'est bien passé, mais il y a quelques points négatifs à mentionner. Il n'y avait pas vraiment d'animation pour les enfants, et le kids club ressemblait plus à une simple garderie, limitée à environ 1 heure par enfant à chaque fois. Nous avons également trouvé un cafard dans la chambre, au niveau du coin café. Malheureusement, le personnel n'a pas changé le coin café avant le lendemain après-midi. C'est un bon hôtel, mais il correspond plus à un 4 étoiles qu'à un 5 étoiles.

Beautiful beach hotel. Next to a sandy beach, a beautiful, comfortable hotel with all the amenities. The room was large and very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were super friendly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. 😀

Needs updating

This not a 5 stars hotel. Rooms are old and need updating. Amenities and staff service below average. Will not stay in this hotel again. Beach is very nice. Close to restaurants and shops

This hotel has a nice green area with a large swimming pool, private beach and numerous lounge chairs for guests around the pool and on the beach. There are hundreds of similar hotels in Agia Napa and other towns on Cyprus. Hence, this hotel does not stand out. The down sides, however, are overwhelming: A terrible 'shower in the bathtub' where one can barely move. And the completely dysfunctional A/C: It was impossible to cool my room to a reasonable temperature, especially in the afternoon/evening. My room was facing west and the sun would shine on the large window in the late afternoon. Cyprus is very hot, up to 95 F during my stay and to above 110 F in August. In the afternoon and evenings my room could not be cooled to below 82 to 85 F. Thus, I was sweating terribly when trying to sleep. I had complaint about the A/C and a technician worked on it but without any real improvement. He told me that this is the best the A/C can do. I can only recommend to avoid this hotel.

Children bed was aweful. Really unacceptable. Room looks dated and without any wow factor. Just plain. Hotel had amazing location thougj, with some exeptionally nice garden and amenities.

very nice hotel with amazing seaview

I would have given this hotel 5 stars but our air conditioning did not work in our room and I called the front desk and maintenance a couple of times to complain and they did nothing to fix the situation, like fix it or give us a different room. My husband and I couldn’t sleep the whole night because we were so hot and uncomfortable. We tried leaving the sliders on the balcony open all night but it didn’t even help. We were only staying one night because we were headed to Limassol, so I think that’s why they didn’t prioritise us, but I wouldn’t stay here again because of it.

Lovely hotel. Good sized comfortable room. On a wonderful bay with easy walk into Aiya Napa. Private beach area a bonus. Out of season so only the evening buffet restaurant open which was only passable. Breakfast plentiful but a bit bland. Nice bar. Staff super.

Room was OK, however the chair wasn't comfortable, the balcony was too small. Beds were too soft.

Great place. Great beach. Great hospitality.

We stayed for one night on NYE to attend the Revillion. The room and view was lovely, the shower worked well but was dated. What let the hotel down was the poor service and average food at the NYE function which at €110 pp was not cheap and as such we expected better.

Everything about this property is excellent! Staff is professional and very helpful

One of the reception staff was rude when requesting child milk. When ask for complimentary water bottles in the room they didn’t deliver. Charged for baby milk which in the past hotels I have stayed they didn’t. Staff not helpful. Called up room service with no answer. When asking for additional water bill one of the staff said we had to call room service who don’t even pick up. I would not recommend this hotel and this is def not a 5 start hotel to me. No clear guides on reserving chairs near the pool. Really disappointed and would not stay in this franchise of hotel.

Stayed here for 6 nights to meet up with family also staying in Cyprus. Excellent hotel we have stayed at before and it has never failed in its very high standards. A sheer delight in comfort, service and courtesy.

We had a delightful stay in paradise. Fabulous staff and accessible to food, shopping, beach and hikes. We definitely recommend this special place for holiday.

on the beach breakfast is fab, dining options in restaurants are not few but its walking distance to allnearby restaurants of ayia napa ..tennis courts are decent..highlight is that the staff are just excellent

Great place to experience Ayia Napa. Hotel lives up to its 5 stars. Short walk along the beach to the marina and dining area.

Die Lage ist genial: Die belebte Stadt ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Sandstrand ist breit und weitläufig. Am Strand, auf Promenaden und auf befestigten Wegen kann man in alle Richtungen kilometerweit spazieren gehen. 👍👍 Unser Zimmer mit Meerblick war wunderbar. Frühstück und Abendessen hervorragend. Schöner riesiger Poolbereich und großer Strandbereich. Überall viele Liegestühlen. Das Hotel können wir sehr empfehlen.

Fantastiskt läge och service men maten på hotellet är inte i standard med resten av hotellet. Det var dessutom väldigt dyrt jämfört med andra hotell och lokala restauranger. Personalen verkar vara hårt hållen, därför blir stämningen lite stel.Tips, ät inte på hotellet. Det försöker dessutom sälja på en extra, som inte är extra. Tydligen ny ledning.

We booked the full board and that was wrong. The quatity of the lunch and dinner food was not good, no good fisch and still the same. The breakfest buffet was OK. Otherwise we were satisfied.

Amazing view and very nice hotel! Excellent service and very friendly! Exceptional cocktail margaritas!!! The only downside which I gave 4 stars is the coffee! The coffee is terrible!

The hotel is amazing, staff attentive and helpful, we did come out of season so there wasn’t many guests. Breakfast is good, the dinners are huge off the menu. We didn’t have the set menu.

We loved the private beach and vegetarian menu. Deserts could have been served in small cups instead of large plates but overall food was very good. The bed in our bedroom was overused, with whole in the middle.

Personal sehr aufmerksam. Es wird auf dem Strand und auch am Pool für Ordnung gesorgt, so das wenn man Liegen reserviert hat es auch bekommt. Frühstücksauswahl ist sehr gut für jeden was dabei. Abendessen als Menü sehr gut als buffet Fleisch und Fisch zu trocken. Suppen sind super. Anlage ist sehr grün. Ich würde das Hotel weiter empfehlen
