We stayed in a pool villa overlooking the valley. The villa was well equiped, private and comfortable. The hotel grounds are extensive and amazing. First class overall. Good gym and dining options. Ubud centre walkable in about 10-15 minutes, but safer using the hotel shuttle, which runs every hour.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and appreciated the warm welcome with a cool oshibori towel and a refreshing drink. The check-in process was efficient, and the front office staff provided helpful information about breakfast, the morning yoga session, and shuttle service to Ubud Center. However, I think it would enhance the guest experience if they also mentioned additional amenities, such as acknowledging Expedia VIP benefits and introducing their unique photography service. The swimming pool area was a highlight, with friendly and attentive attendants who made our time enjoyable. I had a chance to use the fitness center. While I utilized the fitness center, I found that the equipment seem rusty and dusty. I also participated in the morning yoga session, where the instructor was exceptionally patient and supportive, making it a great experience for a beginner like me. The breakfast options are impressive, providing a diverse range of choices along with healthy drinks that are both tasty and enjoyable. The Wedang Jahe stands out as a particularly refreshing and delicious option. Additionally, the staff in the restaurants are consistently friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Perfect 5 star hotel experience awaits you here at Maya. The food is amazing and grounds are meticulously maintained. Service was unparalleled. Everyone was so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. We especially felt really looked after by Ekan and Yuni at the Tree Bar. Thanks guys for making our stay wonderful. Spa was beautiful and treatments were wonderful. The kids did a cooking class and loved the experience.

The two pools are pretty and I like the whole setting with trees, makes it feel like pools inside a forest. The staff is very friendly and the buggy service makes me feel like a royalty. I love the free shows at the restaurant at night, especially the fire show! Both dinner (a la carte) and breakfast buffet are great.

Amazing property right near central Ubud but tucked into the jungle with rice fields so you never hear the noise. The property drops off into a jungle with a creek running through that’s honestly a wild view. Two amazing pools, awesome spa, resort is 10/10 if you’re staying in Ubud

This is the most beautiful resort we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect. Our villa with our private pool overlooking the rainforest was so private and relaxing. The buffet breakfast was great, the sunset drinks during happy hour at the tree bar were delicious. The Balinese dances during dinner were different every night. I loved the daily yoga, we did a cooking class and had massages at the spa. It was a perfect holiday. The wifi was also awesome and was super fast everywhere in the resort including all the outside areas. Would definitely go back again.

The stay was amazing. The resort staff were fantastic and super helpful. The amenities were the best. Lots of options to eat and drink on site through out the stay. The two pool areas were top notch. Both totally offered something different and it was nice to switch it up. Plus, the gym area and forest walk were perfect ways to stay active. We stayed in the heavenly pool suites, and it was a perfect way to stay our relaxing trip. The managers and staff were all top notch. Big thank you to the three in the photo.

Coming from Hotel Indigo Seminyak with its amazing service, I had high hopes for Maya Ubud but left disappointed. The upgrade to a “corner suite” for 400,000 IDR per night was a joke — the room felt dated and not worth the extra cost. The TV didn’t work, the faucet leaked unless tightened extremely hard, and housekeeping didn’t clean our room until we specifically asked. Service overall lacked attentiveness and warmth. For the price and 5-star rating, Maya Ubud falls short in both care and quality.

Everything is good. Stay was good. Facilities is good. But the cleanliness can be improve, many dead corner that people who don’t pass through tend to have lots of spider nets and dirty (include dining table candle, bath tub corner, gym corner, etc.) will feeling eww when saw it, but it can’t stop me from loving the design, place and environment. Breakfast is 7.5/10, would like to have more variety, stay there for 2 nights.

Maya Ubud was breathtaking, it felt like paradise. I loved waking in the morning and going out onto the terrace and hear all the birds. the people were friendly; they couldn't do enough for me. The food was fantastic. The room very clean and room service was awesome. I loved the stay. I had a great time and would go again. The show/dinner was fun. Great place, great scenery, great pool. Property looks better in marketing. I got food poisoning at the hotel restaurant the first night. I was sick for 2 days and never saw Ubud. I had to call hotel doctor at my expense. Room smelled of mold and a humidifier was added. It stopped working in the middle of the night, every night. We checked out 1 night earlier and asked for reimbursement to which they offered a free meal which we did not take. Terrible experience. Would not recommend. Staff was friendly.

객실도 깨끗하고 넓었고, 매일 오전오후 룸 메이크업을 해줘서 꽤적하게 이용가능했습니다. 잘 가꾸어진 정원과 정글뷰 수영장이 무척 마음에 들었는데요, 무엇보다 모기가 전혀 없이 관리된 점이 가장 좋았어요!

My wife and I stayed at Maya Ubud as the last destination of our honeymoon to Bali. The property was beautiful, the shared pools were scenic, verdant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a Heavenly Pool Villa with Butler Service & King Bed. While it was nice to have a secluded space to ourselves, I can say the room was nice but it did not live up to the photos. The pool was smaller than anticipated and the view wasn’t exactly what we had imagined. In terms of proximity, it’s really close Ubud Central, within a short Grab (Bali’s Uber) to get there. And there are a ton of good restaurants and cafes for any meals within a 5-20 mins ride away. The hotel offers a free shuttle service that will take those staying at the resort to Ubud Central. It leaves the hotel at the top of the hour and drops you at a specific point. If you’re in town and looking to return to the resort, you can catch the shuttle at the pick up point at 20 mins after the hour. We opted out of the breakfast to experience some of the great dining options in Ubud. That said, we did get room service one evening and from that experience I wouldn’t even bother eating at the resort as you can get way better meals/drinks for cheaper elsewhere. Some of our favourites in Ubud were: Pison, Sayan House, Plant Bistro and Honey & Smoke. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and relax during your time in Ubud, I would recommend Maya. Service is good and the Villas are peaceful

Only one thing that I would say is staff need to check the room before the guest because we had late check in and arrived the hotel around 10:30pm so first thing we wanted to take shower and there was a creepy reptile on the shower curtain.I really got scared. Rather than that everything was great.

The hotel is set in lovely surroundings but I feel it’s a little dated, the bathroom could do with an upgrade and possibly a separate shower area rather than in the bath tub. The walls are thin so you can hear the other hotel guests having conversations.

Maya ubud is a beautiful property with great location. . The both pools are amazing. The gym too small for the amount of guest they have. The butler service was great. Kind and helpful staff. The private suite we had with pool and butler was very small. Very small pool and no view for the pool at all so it really doesn’t match with the pictures on-line and it needs maintenance , the tiles and everything about the pool was not attractive. We didn’t do buffet but a la carte breakfast has great food and staff. The dinner was amazing too . Overall I wish the room could live up to the photos and my only disappointment was the private pool. Special thanks to all the staff

We loved our 4 night stay at Maya Ubud! The hotel is secluded, in the middle of the jungle, and has 2 amazing infinity pools. The staff is super nice and helpful. Great spa in an incredible setting with very good treatments. The rooms are average though and the condition of the furniture not great.

Facilities and maintenance sucks as water was clogging in wash basin and bath tub. Also the flush was getting stuck which made water flowing from toilet flush. I had to call plumber maintenance to get repaired. I had a great expectation as my wife had highly recommend as dhe had stsyed here 5 years back

The only negative aspect that I care to mention is that the room I had on the 2nd floor was not as quiet as expected. I could hear my neighbor next door in the bathroom and my upstairs neighbor walking around. They weren't doing anything crazy so the room could use better spund isolation.

The upgrade to a “corner suite” for 400,000 IDR per night was a joke — the room felt dated and not worth the extra cost. Exceptional service. Wiartana, Putra, Puspa and the entire team were so good to us. The resort and the rooms are gorgeous. The food is delicious and there are so many events and amenities. The fire show for example was exceptional. If you want a relaxing, luxurious experience in Bali this is the place to go. We loved it here Thanks Travis and Andrea

There were many moments of communication difficulty with the staff at breakfast and dinner. Some servers don't speak English well enough to get the order made properly. Also, the sliding glass doors to the Villas LOCK when closed and no one told us this. We were locked outside our Villa in the heat without shoes for over 1/2 an hour! When management came to let us in, they did not take responsibility for the oversight nor did they offer any compensation for our trouble. I do not consider this to be a 5 Star hotel. Perhaps a 3 or 4 star, but not 5.

We had some last minute changes/unforseen circumstances and needed to shorten our stay. The manager was extremely inflexible and unhelpful and insisted on charging us for 2 nights and 2 rooms- no offer of vouchers or any compromise. Given this was my second stay at the resort- very disappointed with my experience with the reservations team. At check out- we were charged twice for expenses and it wasn’t until we checked our receipt that we realised- how they managed to take 2 payments from 2 separate people for the same bill is concerning. Restaurant and other hotel staff were absolutely lovely, just really disappointed by the management and reservations team that really let us down.

Our stay at the Maya was absolutely amazing. We came for our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a private villa without asking. The service was impeccable from start to finish—everyone was so warm and helpful. The grounds themselves were gorgeous and well-kept, with amazing views of the rainforest and rivers. Our villa was clean, air-conditioned, and luxurious (came with a personal butler, Aria, who was very attentive). We would love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in Ubud.

This hotel is AMAZING. I would 100% recommend it if you stay in Ubud. My biggest con is that is not really in a walkable area, so if you try to go to the “downtown” is better to take a scooter or grab. However, everything in the hotel felt 5star. The service was amazing, the food was extremely good, everything from the breakfast to the dinner was really tasty. The amenities are incredible and the room itself was very nice, the air conditioner worked great, and the shower and room itself was pretty clean. The free yoga classes are a nice add on and the hotel itself sits in the middle of the forest the views are amazing. There are little trails that you can walk by all around the hotel.

The Hotel has been here for more than 20 years. If you want to relax and have a peaceful stay in Ubud ; this is where to go. Property looks better in marketing. I got food poisoning at the hotel restaurant the first night. I was sick for 2 days and never saw Ubud. I had to call hotel doctor at my expense. Room smelled of mold and a humidifier was added. It stopped working in the middle of the night, every night. We checked out 1 night earlier and asked for reimbursement to which they offered a free meal which we did not take. Terrible experience. Would not recommend. Staff was friendly.

This is the most beautiful resort we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect. Our villa with our private pool overlooking the rainforest was so private and relaxing. The buffet breakfast was great, the sunset drinks during happy hour at the tree bar were delicious. The Balinese dances during dinner were different every night. I loved the daily yoga, we did a cooking class and had massages at the spa. It was a perfect holiday. The wifi was also awesome and was super fast everywhere in the resort including all the outside areas. Would definitely go back again.

Staff working in restaurant & during breakfast were warm and helpful. The staff that were at the entrance & managing golf buggy were inflexible and unhelpful.
