Centrally located. Although loud in front due to traffic and noise from the street, inside it was a tranquil paradise. The room was spacious and quiet with everything you need. The staff is very friendly and eager to appease you in any way possible. We went to the spa every day as it had amazing treatments and was so relaxing. We would definitely stay there again!

Overall, very centrally located property, there are several food options nearby. Shopping is also quite enjoyable, which is nearby. The only thing I found a little troubling, was the quality of the pool, the cleaning wasn’t happening soon enough to usage, and it was dirtier than expected.

It is located right in the middle of Ubud. Very close to Monkey forest. Its a really great resort with a pool. Staff were super nice. The gym facility was minimal and a bit limited but I was still able to do some excersises.

The hotel is great for where it is. Clean, quiet and very helpful staff. But don’t know if it’s because of humidity, but the room had a very potent “wet” smell. I would definitely stay here again but probably ask for a different room on a longer stay.

The resort is beautiful exactly as pictured. The breakfast buffet was great tons of options. The service at the resort was also amazing. The staff would do everything to accommodate your needs. Rooms and towels were cleaned and changed twice a day. They restocked water in the rooms daily. I would stay again.

We loved the resort ! The property is in a perfect location for walking around Ubud and close to the monkey forest and it is absolutely beautiful!! It's in the heart of Ubud but you would never know it once you are inside the property. It's very serene and peaceful around the pool area and spa! The restaurant is delicious and the staff are EXCEPTIONAL!!! Our room was large and the beds are very comfortable and decorated beautifully !!

The staff are amazing at this hotel. They are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, lovely menu and good coffee. You never wait long to be seated or served. We had a beautiful, spacious room with a huge balcony to sit on. Very peaceful even though it was in the middle of a busy street. The hotel was in a very good location to explore Ubud. Would highly recommend 😍

Although in the centre of Ubud, our room was about 100 metres away from the road, so quiet and tranquil, overlooking a rice paddy and the swimming pools. A supermarket and lots of excellent cafés within a few minutes walk and the famous monkey forest was only 7 minutes away.

Beautiful hotel. Right in the city center. The spa was great. Would love to return. The bathroom was a bit too open, only separated by a curtain so if you have company make sure you’re comfortable with each other. Very happy with our stay. Staff were so nice.

I have been to this property multiple times in the last several years, as I believe is one of the best values you can find for a luxury resort in Ubud. The staff if great, very friendly, and always willing to try their best to accommodate guests’ requests. The rooms are beautiful, very quiet, clean, and quite large overall. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, with plenty of restaurants, yoga studios, etc. Overall, this is a beautiful and relaxing hotel, however they will soon need to start renovating a few things here and there as the hotel is getting a little old.

Booked for 3 nights, but stayed an extra 5 due to a bad bout of Bali belly. Room spacious and clean. Shower drainage not great, but water pressure strong. No privacy for the bathroom, but was ok for us as mother and young daughter. Main pool beautiful, as are the hotel grounds. Smaller pool next to main pool has a lot of loose tiles. Not great for young kids. Spa lovely, had an amazing massage and ginger tea delicious. Room service menu basic but can order delivery. Location great and next to big supermarket and ATMs. Need to keep doors shut on balcony as lizards come in. Being among the rice fields was amazing. Staff friendly but some not up to 5 star standards. Overall a nice stay, but not same standard as other 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in (but you pay less anyway so all ok)

Excellent hotel. I stayed here for 7 nights with my husband for my 30th birthday and they had upgraded our room because of it. The rooms were very spacious and clean with house cleaning coming in twice a day. The entire property was just beautiful and the staff were the best. My husband had planned a romantic dinner at the hotel the night of my birthday and the next day all the staff were asking us how it went. They were just so attentive and kind. A buffet Breakfast was included with a separate menu that you choose from all included. Everything was delicious and they made the best cappuccinos/lattes. The hotel is also very central so there were food options, supermarkets and ATMs everywhere. The monkey forest is also walking distance. We has a 2 hr massage at the spa which was great! I could go on and on but most importantly, the people of Bali are just so lovely to not just tourist but also each other and the hotel staff were also a representation of that.

The Alaya Hotel property is very beautiful and the restaurant is decent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However there is a disconnect with the staff. I traveled with a large group that all booked separate rooms and each room had the same experience. The staff acts very nervous when check out times near and they become very insistent upon closing out your room charges..banging on room doors, interrupting meals, finding you at the pool or spa..it’s very strange and quite unsettling. I will say it darkened our experience at the Alaya and on return to Bali we will not stay again. The vibe is very low. Making the patrons feel as like they have intent to walk out on their bill. I’m not sure if the Alaya experiences a lot of thrift but if that’s the case they should increase the deposit to more that 1,000,000 rp to avoid ting’s harassment

The hotel was amazing. The staff were excellent and always keen to help. The restaurants were all very nice and great value. We stayed in an Alaya room, which was spacious and had a stunning view. It was very clean, with multiple plugs (both The hotel location was great, it was only 5 minutes walk to the monkey sanctuary. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we walked onto the property, we were greeted with warm smiles and treated with such wonderful hospitality. Alaya Resort Ubud was truly a 5 star resort. My friend and I enjoyed the pool and live music. We had the opportunity to enjoy the resort’s happy hour and coffee/tea time. The biggest takeaway from our stay were the kindhearted staff that made us feel right at home. We will certainly stay there again in the future!

DON'T BOOK IN THIS HOTEL. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. My l'oréal paris steampod hair iron was broken due to a power outage in my room. Following their intervention, I mentioned to the electrician that my device was no longer functional. Afterwards, I asked the hotel for an investigation and following the electricity report, the hotel had agreed to reimburse me for the cost of the device since I have to get a new one. The next day, they refused to reimburse me, despite their confirmation the day before. This is unacceptable, there are very nice hotels with much better service next door. Don't go to Alaya.

The staff are great and very attentive. They treat us like a royalty. We had a problem in our room and they resolve it right away by upgraded us to one of their suite room. We will definitely coming back here again. Highly recommend.

This is how of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s gorgeous and very green - the property is expansive yet when you walk outside at the front you’re in a very busy, walkable area with many shopping and dining options. I liked the balance of the quiet and nature of the hotel combined with the walk ability and convenience to things. You can also walk to monkey forest area with tons of nightlife and restaurants. Lastly the staff was absolutely amazing. I would absolutely return here.

우붓 처음 오시면 머물기 좋은 위치의 숙소라고 생각합니다 햇볕도 잘 들어오고 발코니에 수영복 말릴수도 있고 수영장도 작지만 두곳이나 있어서 즐기기 좋습니다 조식도 a la carte로 다양한 메뉴로 먹을수 있으나 특별히 엄청 맛있는 메뉴는 없어요 주변에 맛있는 식당들이나 코코마켓 가까우니 편하실듯해요 리조트 바로 옆에 한국 분들이 많이 대기하기에 찾아보니 한국분들에게 인기 많은 유명한 식당이 있더라고요 리조트에 머무시면 식당쪽 라이스 필드는 입장 가능해요 전 가서 먹어보지 않았지만 조금만 벗어나면 여기 말고 좋은 식당뷰 많습니다 굳이 ~

The room was beautiful! The whole hotel was very clean, stunning area around. I would definitely stay here again. My only disappointment was the lack of options for a Vegetarian Coeliac (Gluten Allergy) in ALL of the dining venues. It was hard to find options to eat, and so even though breakfast was included I couldn’t really have anything. But the actual place was great- and the staff super friendly!!

The best part of this property is by far the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. Arjawa the bellman explained everything i needed to know about the hotel and the amenities from what time breakfast to how many times they clean the rooms. Pebri, Agung and Komang who were my servers at Brasserie restaurant were amazing always smiling and making sure I was doing great. Sumi was the supervisor at Brasserie and always greated me with a smile and also went out of her to make sure I was well taken care of. At the Bamboo bar I was well taken care of by Putra the bartender there. Amazing drinks amazing service. And Wirta also made sure I was great bringing me towels and always greeting me by name. The food was great at Brasserie I ate there 3 times a day if that tells you anything. So if ever you are in Ubud and want a luxurious place to stay and great staff to treat you amazing I would highly recommend The Alaya Resort.

Overall a very good stay for the price. Location was excellent and the hotel itself was quite luxurious. The only complaint if any, is the mixed quality of the ala carte breakfast items. It’s not a deal breaker though.
