Way to noisy can hear every single person who drives past Traffic and also people . can hear the traffic lights going all night As for the room needs maintenance taps dripping Not enough power points and what ever happened to courtesy water for people last thing you want after a long drive is to go out and get basic things Tea and coffee facilities need to be restocked pillows uncomfortable lucky to hav we got a few hours sleep poor Restaurant was really nice food wise service was lacking not busy had to intervene for a older couple who sat there for almost 30 minutes just waiting to take their order not good

Great location, easy walking distance to everything we needed. Free onsite parking. Clean a tidy property and staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a free upgrade.

Old large room, clean, tidy and with all the features you’d expect. Added bonus of on-site Asian restaurant with lovely meals.

ok cheap place to stay. close to shops and eating places. we were lucky enough to be given a larger room with a spa bath. unfortunately the shower was in the bath and this was a little awkward for us older travellers. our room was spacious. had table and chairs and a couch. the room was at the far end of the building overlooking a fairly busy intersection. it was noisy at night

Great dining and food. A bit of TLC around the carpark and gardens would make the appearance nicer

Perfect for our overnight stay. Well equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Great location, handy to city centre etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Our room was very poorly maintained. We found ants throughout the space, the bathroom had cracked tiles, and the bath faucet was coming off the wall. There was no shower curtain, so every time we used the shower, the entire bathroom flooded. Housekeeping was lacking during our three-night stay. Towels were only replaced once, and essentials like toilet paper and shampoo were never restocked. The room was not serviced at all—no beds made or cleaning done. To top it off, the iron provided was unusable and left a large stain on my white shirt. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.

The shower over the bath was difficult. The bath was dangerous with a large crack in the base and unstable floor. Shower curtain dirty. A grubby crack across the sink. Lighting in the bathroom inadequte. Rubish left by previous guest. Staff friendly and linen clean. Doesn't warrant more than 2 stars at most.

Just found that there was a lot of rubbish under the beds and there were plenty of large ?cricket like insects in the room and bathroom.

Filth under the bed. Shower is in the bath, so dangerous. No lift. No service. Never again!

Clean and very comfortable

Rooms were not as pictured. Didn’t appear to be maintained or cleaned very well. Soap from previous guest still in shower. Glasses dirty. Would not stay here again

Had to ask for towels Some mould on grout in shower recess . Bedside table had a drink stain

Air conditioner was not working well but left on an hour or so it did take the edge off.

All taps in the bathroom need attention. Shower over the bath was slippery and difficult to access.

Overall great, warm and comfortable. Only thing I can fault is the lack of water pressure in the shower - a trickle at best.

Pleasant room, good size

Room was adequate for a one night stay but very cold and aircon did not work, very cold draft came under front door making room very cold. Good bed and hot shower

A very comfortable room except for couch that was too low to floor. Bed was great and the heating in the room was excellent. Spacious room. Been here before and the freshen up of room was nice to see.

We originally booked for just myself and my husband then we rang and asked could we have a room as our two granddaughters would also be with us as we were going to Sovereign Hill, Winter Wonderland. We also rang the next day to confirm that our two granddaughters would be coming with us we were told an extra $24. When we arrived we were advised by Jing that our room was a queen and 1 single we said that wasn’t good enough and she then found us a room with a queen and two singles, then told us an extra $54 to pay we said that she’d advised us previously that it was $24. We went to our room,No. 16, only to discover that there was a very wet, in fact soaking, carpet outside the bathroom door to in front of one of the single beds, so a fairly biggish area. Back to reception we go and Jing then gave us room, no. 12, which had two queen beds. After further discussion Jing said she would pay the extra $30 only for me to discover that $54 had been charged to my bank account, back to reception where we were given a $30 credit. We did try to book elsewhere but as it was mid-afternoon places we checked had no vacancies Surely the cleaners at the time of cleaning room 16 would have noticed the very wet carpet as we had done on entry into the room!

Very rude staff

Greeted by a lovely lady at reception. Room was warm and cosy. Have stayed before and will go back again. It had everything we needed.

At 3pm no one in reception had to call a number to get someone to come check me in. Bathroom tiles around bath broken. Tap dripped. Freezer door of fridge and all iced over

We arrived around 5 and was allocated a room wirh only netflix/ youtube but she said if we would like we can have another room ... i said yes please so she gave us a great room NUMBER 25 ... Bed was comftable and lovely and nice quiet ... the chinese restaurant was a lottle pricey but cafe ' just like nans' was awesome for breakfast on weekdays ...

Clean room and comfortable bed. Nothing special. Would’ve been great if there was a toaster in the room which is a staple of all motor inns these days especially when you’re self-catering on a Sunday morning for brekky. There were limited breakfast options on Sundays in a town like Ballarat.
