The motel is aged but in good condition. Staff is very friendly given the fact that she has to work in both the reception on the ground floor and the restaurant on the second floor during breakfast time. Breakfast was great, foods are freshly cooked and served even approaching the close hour of 09:00. Plenty of parking space, which is precious right in the center of the city. Some reviews that the tile was peeling off in the bathroom, which we did not experience. However, as there is no ventilation on the roof, the paint is becoming bubbled. This is probably the only reason we only give it a four rather than a five.

The motel is located close to CBD facilities and the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and warm but a bit outdated. I would have appreciated an electric blanket on the bed with it being winter. The bathroom needs updating. The dining area wasn't open in the evening but we were able to eat dinner in the bar/lounge area. The food was good. Breakfast was also good.

The rooms, whilst dated, are what you'd expect and are more than adequate. The location is excellent particularly for the central White Night event we attended. The staff were very helpful and we noted a sign saying they are understaffed which makes the effort even better. The bar at the top of the reception stairs, before you get to the breakfast hall, is intriguing and has a lot of character. Much more reasonably priced than nearby options.

Very central location. Basic decor, but clean and tidy. A good selection in mini bar. Good menu in restaurant. Great breakfast included. The only thing missing is a lift for handicapped people. It meant my husband couldn't get to the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. We had to go elsewhere.

Room was very old and dated, mattress cover was filthy, air vent in shower and fire sprinkler heads were covered in dirt and dust. The blinds do not block out much light at all. The air cons on the wall had black dirt marks all over them. There’s not even charger points up near the bed side tables, just a lamp and no power point to plug it into. Unfortunately the room we stayed in really needs some a lot of work to get it anywhere near a decent review. To add insult to the stay the reception desk was unmanned, we rang the phone and got a crackly response to wait and they will be quickly there. It then took 20mins for reception to arrive. No bacon on the breakfast menu either.

Definitely has potential but facility needs work and more staff to cover basic needs. Didn’t get much sleep because of guests walking above creating noise. Toilet didn’t flush properly . Bathroom taps and shower taps were leaking and nearly came off in my hand. Television came on at 1:15am by itself and continued to do this every 15 minutes until turned off at the outlet.

Good: Location is fantastic; staff were friendly; bed was new, clean and comfortable; breakfast was pretty decent; big telly; parking. Not so good: Shower was awful, wasn’t getting in there without a pair of flip flops; wardrobe had no doors; cable hanging out of roof; random fitting poking out of the wall. The room we were allocated was in dire need of an upgrade and things did not work properly. The main light in the room had blown or was not working, the TV required several tries to turn it on/off, the button in the toilet needs replacing and the key entry did not always function. The staff were friendly and obliging but there were no public rubbish bins around the property.

The man at breakfast omg! we took 2 tea bags for our room because the hot water for tea was tepid. He rudely said he was not serving brunch! Breakfast was crap and limited to beans, scrambled eggs and cold mushrooms. On arrival no one in reception so when we finally got a key and The room was not made up from last night’s occupancy we had to wait find someone again for another room. She huffed about it. Lady, not my problem. If you can’t be nice to customers when it’s your mistake you need a career change! The motel is very poorly maintained, worn ammenities, peeling paint and damp walls. Looks like it was built in the 70’s & nothings been spent since then! The king size bed was comfortable & the towels good. There are so many better options around stay elsewhere.

Less than a 5 minute walk to Myers, big W, Target and JB hifi, Railway stn and buses. At least 20 restaurants within 2 blocks. Motel is a little aged but large rooms, modern appliances and a really nice bed. Will stay there sgain

The included breakfast was great and it was very tasty. It is a very convenient hotel in walking distance to many eateries. There was only one tea bag when we arrived. No free biscuits but a selection of things to buy from the fridge. It is very good value for money.

Although they seem to be having trouble getting staff, I think the service I got from all the staff on Saturday and Sunday was excellent. Got checked in early which was great and the brekky was pretty good too! Good sized TV in the rooms was great and the location is excellent. The rooms are showing their age though especially the bathrooms but overall it was a great stay and we would still come back as the price was good too! Thanks for the effort to all that served us over our stay!
