Clean room, nice surroundings but short staffed bar and the evening meal was definitely an overpriced ‘pub grub’ offering. Doesn’t feel like they’re focussing on being a high class establishment anymore but the stay was comfortable enough.

Stayed here with the family—great place, very quiet, and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent, especially the full English breakfast. On closer inspection, the windows were a bit dusty, and the carpet had some hair on it. I’m not sure if this was due to the hotel being pet-friendly. The swimming pool timings were limited for kids (8–10 AM and 4–6 PM on weekdays), which was inconvenient. It would be better if these times were more flexible for families staying with children. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and the staff were very friendly.
