Building was in rough shape and did not look like it did in the pictures. We figured we were "upgrading" from the Fairfield accross the road but man were we wrong. Pool was filthy and the floor had several broken tiles that cut my kids feet. Pool didn't have any towels we had to go back to our rooms and get our room towels. I don't usually review hotels as they are all pretty good but this needed to be done so it doesnt fool any more families. Bathroom floor in the room was filthy, they dont provide soap in the room. this hotel was priced higher than the hampton or fairfield and it was definitely not worth it. Will not stay here again.

The hotel and amenities were good. The pool could use a facelift. The dining room staff at dinner needs training. She was more concerned with ber phone than taking care of customers. We had tonask for cups, straws and utensils. The food was overpriced and horrible. Spent $106 on 1 juice, 2 milk,1 soda, a small salad, wings, burger, chicken fingers and 1 mac & cheesethatthe kids didnt like. Stay away from the dining room.

Great service and great staff! Everyone was really nice! The rooms were very clean! The pool and hot tub were fun! Restaurant on site was awesome! The price was reasonable! Will definitively come back and recommend it to many!

Staff at the Sheraton Barrie were responsive to my feedback and did respond quickly to clean our room again and provide new linens after I completed a check-in survey. Overall I was disappointed with the quality of the hotel. It seems that it has not been well maintained. Wear and tear is showing and not being cleaned well over time is taking a toll. It was ok for our stay while attending a dance competition over three days but I won’t choose it again in future. The pool was small but functional and not busy. Parking was hassle free and check in and out was easy.

Hotel is showing some age, and I didn't feel it met the Four Points brand expectation. The toilet was continuously running when I got into the room (just had to flip the handle down), which I let the front desk know about. The shower pan had been painted (with quite a bit scratched off), and there was lots of caulking applied in a sloppy manner. The carpet felt sticky as well. The condiiton of the hotel did not match the price paid.

We enjoy staying at four points Barrie. We have stayed four times this year. We decided to get a suite for extra comfort. I was disappointed, the jet tub was not clean, sofa bed was very uncomfortable due to being old & worn, bed was not as comfortable as the past ones I have used at this hotel. The exta space was not worth the extra money. Upgrade on room sofa and bed are needed. Along with a good clean of the inside of the tub jets. I enjoy the location, staff and usually my room. However, tjis time was not as comfortable.

Pictures are deceiving, hotel is run down, chipped tile in the elevator, doors are all stained with who knows what, rooms need paint, stainless steel in elevator was all dirty, found an ant crawling on the bed, the ironing board in the room was broken, the vanity light was all covered in some sort of soap scum the corners of the room were all dirty, very disappointed, Do not stay here.

I could hear the conversation from everyone in the hallway, room across and above was annoyingly loud when there door was closed. Once I finally got to sleep I was awaken very early by a crying Baby, definitely not a restful nights sleep.

Property had a convenient location, room was clean, parking was plentiful for a full size pick up truck. The room had a strong scent which I wasn’t a fan of. I would recommend a non road side room away from elevator. Okay for what I needed (somewhere to sleep, get ready the next morning) but I would probably try somewhere else my next Barrie stay.

An overall average older motel with small pool and hot tub. No kids allowed in the gym under age of 16. The rooms could use an upgrade. Old fashioned dark red carpet that doesn’t match low cost furniture. Signs posted in hallways asking kids to be quiet. Small one cup coffee maker was old and dirty. Not much in walking distance except for a grocery store. Large sign out front about no parking liability for the hotel. Window blinds were nice to keep early morning sun out. Bed was comfortable.

Air conditioning did not cool down the room sufficiently. Stayed July 9. Bed was uncomfortable. Will stay at the Hilton next door next time. Work for Alectra utilities and Hilton will be my next choice even though they’re about $50 more expensive. I expense regardless.

Overall our stay was good. However the hotel staff at the front was always on his phone when we asked a question and he didn’t seem very friendly (never saw him smile) the other hotel staff was very friendly and interacted with my son. We went to the pool and the first time there was body wash but by the time we went the next day it was empty and we had to go back to our room to shower.

The room is clean, not outdated and has all the amenities I am looking for. It is very comfortable. It is very close to the seminar I am attending. This is my second year to stay here. I will stay here again next year. The staff was polite and very kind. I had a problem with the tv and they immediately came right up to my room and solved the problem,

Stayed for one night on our way back from Toronto. Check in was easy and quick no issues, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean with a nice bathroom a close drive to a lot of restaurants or if you chose you can eat right in the hotel. Overall great stay highly recommend.

Only okay and don’t really care about your experience. You can get the same for quite a bit cheaper in Barrie. The main reason for this is that I called ahead and asked (since I could see many open rooms available) if we got in town around 1 pm is our room available by any chance so we can rest. No time to even look at computer she said no kill some time as rooms only available at 3. I said oh, not even if a room is open can we come early - she said no. We came early anyway just in case and a room was ready and we checked in right away and got in. So that means it was purely didn’t want to check or help or care that we were tired just a sorry no and hang up when we could have had the room and in fact did. Someone who calls to be prepared is treated worse than just walking in. That’s sad.

Deadbolt wont work on the door, bathroom door keeps locking us out, toilet won’t stop running. Called the front desk for assistance, no answer. Will never stay here again, it’s a dump.

Tried for 2 days to talk to a live person at the front desk to get an early check in. Very frustrating. No phone customer service what so ever. The early check in when we got there was not a problem but there phone system to get a person is pathetic.

The property was very well maintained. Staff were friendly, prompt and helpful. They even told me where I could purchase one of the items they had decorating the hotel lobby. The best part of the facility was it did not have heavy scents in the room or products. I am prone to migraines and majority of hotels set me off. Enjoyed all the amenities, as well as close location to Starbucks and shopping. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!!
