The first room they assigned me didn’t have any heat because the wall unit didn’t work properly, mini fridge was warm inside and the caulking around the tub was mouldy and peeling off . The carpet was well worn.The second room they gave me was much better. The hotel appears to be going through a renovation but not sure which units are finished yet. The hall way side of the room doors are painted white recently but sloppy painting is evident. I hope it just primer before the final painting. Staff are friendly and very helpful with concerns. Breakfast was meh. I have never seen brown beans served for a breakfast in any hotel …. Limited selection of options. Good for one night stay.

First off this property should advertise it. They don’t have an elevator and that if you want to stay on the first floor is going to cost you more. They’re on the second floor with no elevator that annoyed me.

Property is located behind a strip mall and next to a night club. Hotel is currently under renovations so lots of shipping containers on site, old furniture that was pulled out of rooms was sitting on the curb. Condition of hotel itself is a touch rough, almost every room door which is painted white is quiet dirty, our room was clean but bathroom looks like it had a quick Reno, tub liner put in but old mildew and some mold stains were present on tiles, ceilings. We were on the second floor, could see water stains on the ceiling of our room. If hotels weren't so expensive these days I would have book somewhere else. Not sure a one night visit was worth the $200+ we paid, at least the room was clean and breakfast was good including the coffee.

Dated property. No elevator. Part of the computer system was down at check in and I had to return to front desk. I had to inquire about needing my license plate number for parking. Parking lot is dark. Exit to parking lot has large pot hole. Corridors and adjacent room are very loud. One can hear all of the doors slamming. Poor/absent sound proofing.

The breakfast was more than adequate. The office chair in the room was dilapidated. The finish came off on our clothes when we sat in it. It was replaced promptly the next morning when I reported to the front desk but it should never have been in the room in the first place. An expected amenity in this day and age, but there was no elevator. I am awaiting knee replacements on both knees and it was very challenging going up and down the stairs, especially with luggage. If I had known I would have requested a room on the ground floor. When front desk staff at check in, were made aware of my challenges, they made no attempt to find an alternate room. It was a difficult journey already as we were visiting for the funeral of a person very important to us.

I didn’t like the fact there were balls of human hair in the floor that were not mine or that when I requested to change rooms because of the stairs they told me no and there was floaties in my bath water which was completely disgusting

Carpets we’re disgusting smelled like dirty feet throughout the entire hotel. Bathroom walls and door was filthy, hand prints and dirt all over. Other individuals staying on the first floor were allowed to drink and host a tailgate party in the parking lot right below our rooms until the wee hours of the morning. Cleaning staff were all arguing in the lobby and rooms were not ready on time

Impressively Clean, Great Value, and Friendly Staff! We had a very pleasant stay at this Comfort Inn. We were aware that the hotel is older and currently under renovation, but wanted to share our positive experience. * Staff: Very friendly and helpful right from check-in. Made us feel welcome. * Cleanliness: We were incredibly impressed with how clean the hotel was, especially with the renovations happening. * Noise: Even with the work being done, it was not loud or disruptive at all during our downtime (after 5 PM). * Value: This is a very decent hotel. The cost is fair and appropriate for the quality of the stay. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely stay again. Recommended!"

My family and I (2 adults, 2 toddlers, a small dog, and elder relatives) recently booked a stay at the Comfort Inn in Belleville, Ontario, based on its pet-friendly policy. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. Upon arrival, we were alarmed to find the hotel located beside a rundown, graffiti-covered short-term motel and nightclub, hardly suitable for families. Inside, the hallways were dark and unclean, with used towels on bare carpeted floors. Our room smelled unpleasant, had stained walls, curtains, and dirty floors, and the sliding door lock was broken and replaced with a flimsy latch. Most disturbingly, the bathtub was surrounded by mold, triggering immediate breathing issues for an allergic family member. The front desk moved us to the Annex, which was much cleaner and better maintained. However, later that evening, we found a cockroach on the fridge. At that point, we checked out, packing up and leaving with toddlers in the middle of a rainy night with hours of driving ahead of us after an already lengthy and tiring day. This stay was unacceptable. We were told a full refund would likely be issued due to the multiple serious issues and short duration of our stay. A refund was in fact applied to my account. I also strongly advise any traveller's, especially those with children, pets, or health sensitivities, to avoid this location until substantial improvements are made.

Customer service was friendly but the room was small for the price and the bathroom was full of mold in the shower area. There was damage to the ceiling and the sliding door was not operating properly making it difficult to open, close and lock. For the price I expected more.

For the most part the place was clean but there was smell that just wouldn’t go away. The beds were concrete hard and very uncomfortable. The breakfast was cold both mornings and the staff that was running it didn’t seem to be bothered.

Thin walls window. You can hear the music from the club across the street at night and when people are talking in the parking lot outside your window you can hear everything. Old hallway and stairs and lobby and parking lot . Old and outdated.

Booked with a note for a late check-in at 22:00! No issues upon arrival! Upgraded from upper to lower level without issue! Reception was efficient and pleasant even at this late hour. A welcome sight in the lobby was a complimentary coffee/tea and beverage station with lemon infused water that was well stocked! There was also a see through glass refrigerator in the lobby displaying nutritional brand name packaged dinners that was also well stocked. The room was clean! A welcome note was left by our room attendant! Love the attention by the staff and management to detail..there were two packages of make up remover by the bathroom sink! The complimentary breakfast had all the staples and was well stocked! The breakfast attendant also took the time to clean off tables as guests left! The attention to detail at this property receives the highest marks but it’s the beds that can only be described as heavenly! Nice and firm and we had the most solid and restful sleep! The black out curtains and the double patio doors also contributed to the restful night by blocking out the outside till morn! Well done Comfort Inn Belleville! This was a repeat visit and you did not disappoint!

Terrible place to stay. Will never be back to this hotel. We were given our room, had the pass card for this room. Later that night, someone else was given a passcard to our room. Front desk said we were in the wrong room. Guy at front desk was very, very rude, accusing us of being in the wrong room. How do we switch rooms, when a keycard is needed?? He made it seem like we went to the wrong room, when he gave us the key and told us the room number to go to. He realized he made the error, and apologized, but we were still left with a very bad impression. Hotel is old and doesn't appear clean because of its age. We were there for a funeral which was an upsetting day, but to have that happen made that day even more upsetting. we cannot and will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Upon my arrival I was greeted with a friendly smile and felt very relieved. I was checked in in a timely manner. I appreciated that my request for a room on the ground floor was accepted. I was given instructions of the time for breakfast, given the wifi information and given my room key. Excellent customer service. Thank you

The hotel is older so no elevator just stairs not ideal for someone with mobility challenges. The rooms are basic but clean. Hotel is right beside an adult entertainment club which makes it a bit iffy for nighttime clientele .

Upon arrival, the desk person was very courteous and polite. The registration was taking care of very rapidly and were offered hot or cold beverages at our convenience. Hot breakfast was included and was to our satisfaction. The breakfast room was clean and neat and the employee very nice. The hotel is walking distance to all major stores and restaurants and our walk to downtown took us only 30 minutes.

I always come to this hotel because the beds are soft, theres a coffee maker in the room, lots of clean towels but mostly, the breakfast is the best. We travel in the States and in Ontario all the time, and this hotel has the best sausages ever.

We read a lot of reviews and we booked this place because it had good reviews about how clean it was. It was very clean, easy check-in, lots of parking space. Only downside was that the eating area at breakfast was sooo small we had to take up to our room. That was a little difficult to do with a toddler in one hand and food in the other.
