Older property with smallish bathroom. Amenities are basic tea & coffee. Kettle was v old and wouldn't switch off, replacement was same. Eventually got one that worked but still very old. No coffee machine. Bathroom products are nice.

Great hotel in a good location within walking distance of Southbank, train station, ferry stop, restaurants, Skybar, etc. Breakfast was delicious and the kids loved the pancake machine. We went as a family of 4 and found the room a little small and could have done with some more storage. But we didn't spend much time in the room as were exploring. It's more of a business hotel for a short stay. It overlooks the motorway which is a bit of a shame but all hotels do along this strip. That's a Brisbane downside I guess! Looking beyond the busy roads the panoramic views of the river and Would have been nice to have a warmer pool too in winter although it's right next to the motorway so is a bit noisy to be outside anyway.

Good place to stay, close to a lot. Bed was comfy, pillows comfy. Had an issue with the aircon overnight and had to turn it off. Parking wasn’t suitable for my car and had to park a block away which wasn’t great.

The rooms were super dusty (both mine and my business colleague's) and very outdated. Nothing had been changed since it was the Mercure about a decade ago
