I booked this hotel as it had free parking. Before we arrived at 2.20pm, (checkin is not until 2pm) ALL parking had been given out. The receptionist had been doing this since 8am. We had to park on the street, miles away and update meters every few hours. The room was tiny and shabby. The aircon was old and noisy. Would not recommend.

Property was clean. It isn’t listed anywhere that’s its stairs only, no elevators, so not very accessible friendly. Room was ALOT smaller than the photos made it look. There was a lot of side stepping around furniture. There was no screen in the bathroom window and you could t close the window either. It was very noisy, you could hear a pin drop out in the hallway, so when the cleaners arrived early in the morning it was very noisy. Car parking was minimal and extremely tight. Area around the hotel was ok, quite a few homeless in the park across the road. Reception staff were lovely.

Disgusting , this place was a complete dive . Cracked paint on walls , was the size of a jail cell extremely deceiving photos . Could barely open the door to the balcony. Shower and toilet dirty . There isn’t parking , literally 4 spaces what a joke . They seemed to careless . I felt like we were in A back packer hotel . We didn’t even stay the night it felt horrible .

Zimmer sind klein aber ausreichend, leider gibt es keinen Aufzug und auch nur 10 Stellplätze für 50 Zimmer, was einem Motel nicht gerecht wird. Dafür liegt es schön zentral.

We had a really lovely welcome from the guy on reception, ( sorry I didn’t get your name) he was so helpful. Our room was small, but had everything we needed for a one night stay. Spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. Lovely powerful shower, and toiletries.

I enjoyed my stay in Soho Brisbane very much. I’m a person who is very picky on hygiene. I am fully satisfied with the cleanliness in my room. The shower is also very comfy. Though the room is small, there are sufficient hooks to hold my necessities. Unexpectedly the lighting in the room is so good which is better than many 5 stars hotels! The staff are also very helpful and kind not only the reception but also the support staff who made up my room.

Whilst the property is of an older style, it is generally well maintained, clean and tidy. My room, whilst small, was much as I expected. It was quiet, very tidy with comfortable bed and one of the best showers I have had in a motel. Would happily stay there when I. Brisbane.

Das Zimmer ist sauber und ordentlich, allerdings ist es schon sehr hellhörig. Die Klimaanlage ist ebenfalls extrem laut und nervt. Das Bad ist ok aber sehr einfach. Wir hatten das Zimmer für eine Nacht vor der Abreise gebucht und für den Preis und die tolle Lage ist es fair.

They moved me to another hotel they manage next door which didn’t have the same parking facilities and incurred an additional charge. I arrived at night and the area felt unsafe. Staff were unhelpful saying I could park elsewhere and walk to my car following checkout despite my saying that as a solo female traveller I would be leaving before sunrise and didn’t feel safe to walk in the dark.

The staff treated me like family. Upon arrival they gave me a chat about all of the exciting things to do in Brisbane and even wrote tyem down with instructions on taking the transit to various tourist destinations. There's great restaurants and cafes within a couple blocks and the Queen Street Mall is a short walk. The room was immaculate and housekeeping was delightful. I will definitely stay here again.

Was charged an extra $50 for arriving after hours, at no time was this communicated to me that I would be charged extra for turning up at 8:15pm and I spoke to the staff multiple times before arriving and when I arrived, they just charged the extra to my my card after we left the next morning

Out room was pretty small for 2 people with 2 twin beds. We hardly had any room to store out bags, etc. Plus there was absolutely no option to check in after 8 PM so beware of that, you HAVE to check in before 8 or you will need to find other options for the night, Parking was limited and some spots were extremely tight, but free. Plus they did not have decaf coffee for those of us that can't tolerate caffeine any more. Some excuse about they buy boxes of 5,000 each and most of the decaf coffee expires before it's used. Oh come on, anybody can go online and buy far smaller packs so that is no excuse at all, but typical of Australian hotels (there are some that are considerate of their guests and provide some).Otherwise the place was fine, we had a small balcony, it was clean and looked nice, and it was a short walk (12-15 minutes) to the central business area.

Watch out for the 8pm shutdown NO KEY OR ENTRY WHATSOEVER AFTER 8PM.BACK IN NOVEMBER WE ARRIVED AT 9 AFTER COMING THROGH CUSTOMS AT BNE INT AIRPORT TAKING 3 HOURS.WE HAD TO SLEEP ON A BENCH IN THE RAILWAY STATION.THERE WAS NO REFUND.

Small convenient/affordable room in central brisbane w/in walking distance to dining, mall, streets beach, etc. Only downside is limited availability of reception staff. Due to needing to catch an early flight, we checked out by leaving our physical key in the room. After doing so I realized I left my phone in the room with no way to enter into the room to retrieve it until hours later when reception staff arrive. Thankfully staff is very responsive to email and was able to start shipping this for me the next day. All this is to say the biggest concern/thing to be mindful of is needing to carry your physical key with you all the time and limited/no after hours reception support. Overall, recommend

Had a great experience at SOHO. Stayed here for two nights as I was having a medical procedure in the area, and it met my needs perfectly. The staff working there are lovely, especially Ming at reception, who happily helped us with anything and everything and had such a lovely personality. It’s a very simple, no frills style of accommodation and great for affordability. Would definitely stay at SOHO again

Nice and clean room with a balcony. Great location to explore Brisbane. The parking place is small and one night there was no space left for our car. Because of that we parked on the street and not noticing a sign led to our car being towed away! That was of course our own fault. But the hotel staff was absolutely amazing and totally saved us. We had no clue what to do, but the staff made phone calls and even gave us a ride to collect the car. We are so thankful for the exquisite customer service and friendliness of the staff at Soho Brisbane.

Very convenient to the Brisbane Private Hospital and nearby medical practitioners. There is a free Brisbane Bus loop stop (132) outside the Soho Brisbane Hotel, giving easy access to the Brisbane CBA. If early there is limited free parking on-site.

We loved our stay! We were immediately greeted by Ray who's customer service is second to none, he pointed out everything we needed to know about Brisbane, gave us a very early check-in and was just all-round very pleasant to talk to! Our room was a bit small but perfect for 2 nights, and what stood out was how clean the entire hotel was, I have never seen such a spotless hotel. Only two things to note are that the walk to the hotel from the city is on a steep slope, and it can feel a bit dodgy to walk in that area at night. Otherwise it's great proximity to the city and walkable to everywhere you need to go. Definitely recommend and will stay again!!

If you just want a bed and shower for a night then book this place. As it is tiny and very old. You definitely cannot hangout in your room for too long. Not worth the prices theyre asking for. Maybe because of the location they charge the amounts. They have a restaurant that is never open. Don't supply you a toaster but you get a hairdryer. So only stay if your a business person or just in Brisbane for a night. Or travelling through. Location is good. They have parking which is a bonus. Noisy.

Its more like a hostel..not a hotel..restaurant not open...reception limited hours..if not in by 8pm then cant check in Very noisy outside with bins and road...tiny room with a noisy aircon.. Great shower..very tired decor Homeless in the park opposite ..support staff bring a soup kitchen and washing machines...our car covered in coffee dregs Laundry cant be used between 6.30pm and 8am

Very handy to Roma Street. Clean and tidy rooms. Helpful receptionist gave me other options to get breakfast as restaurant was closed. I wa given instructions on how to get to Roma Street. It was a little moisy, but was just people coming in to stay. Was quiet during the night. Comfy bed and clean facilities a a reasonal price.

Friendly receptionist. Very basic outdated room. Lacking in plug sockets for charging devices. Noisy water pipes and fridge. Rooms not sound proof. At the time of staying the restaurant was closed.
