Great location, friendly place with a great Japanese restaurant located on the premises. Easy parking under the hotel. Close to the new Brisbane River footbridge - so a quick walk into the CBD. A Barber, the Storey Bridge Hotel, cafes and an excellent French Patisserie are very close by. Excellent service from the staff.

I think the photo was actually taken in the room I stayed in. I got more than I expected as I thought I had a room and got a full suite with kitchen. Additions like plunger coffee add to the experience and value. The Japanese restaurant next door is also excellent and makes dining in enjoyable. Il Mondo is highly recommended.

This was my second year in a row staying at the Il Mondo hotel in Brisbane. It was just the same with excellent , friendly service and clean well kept rooms. Bonus pool for swimming! I will stay here every time I am in Brisbane.

Chris our host was brilliant and could not do more for us. Il Mondo is in a great location and the Japanese restaurant Mobo next door is fabulous. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely stay there again.

Chris was incredible on check in - he was welcoming and warm. The housekeeper had just refreshed my room and turned on the lights and air conditioning so I walked into a very comfortable and nice room. The balcony gives you a nice outdoor space to grab some fresh air. The bed was big and comfortable. And the little touches like the bottles of water and nice toiletries were really sweet. Having off street parking was a massive relief - and it’s included in the price! The location is perfect for what I need. Literally across the road from the Story Bridge Hotel for drinks and food, 10 minutes walk to St Vincent’s hospital, and with easy access to the City connection foot bridge.

Stayed for the evening, found it really easy to walk to restaurants and ferries that take you across the river. The room was immaculate. Clean, fresh and the view from our balcony was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay! We stayed in an economy ground floor room with a private courtyard. I was really impressed with how clean the room and bathroom were. The entire hotel is lovely and the staff are very welcoming. The gentlemen who checked me in was so accommodating and was insistent I contact him if we needed anything to improve our stay. Bed and pillows were comfy. Great room for 2 people wanting easy access to the city and river walks.

We enjoyed our stay. Our one bedroom suite was very large and we also had two big balconies. There was a very efficient daily maid service and a full kitchen. The area is very safe, convenient to downtown and the river ferries, with plenty of restaurants, bars and a great bakery. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The wifi is a little underpowered if you want to stream any services

Highly recommend - MUCH better accommodation than it looks from the photos. Double bed is actually a double, not a queen - so very true to description. And this hotel has an actual shower head that provides plenty of water AND the water is hot. Chris at reception was super friendly and helpful as was the lady on checkout. Highly recommend this as an option if you’re looking for accommodation close to story bridge hotel.

The location in Kangaroo Point is fantastic from a walkability perspective. Convenient transportation including buses and ferries with easy access tot he CBD and the Gabba. Plenty of dining options nearby and not a single complaint about the accommodation. There is some ambient traffic noise but only if you are listening for it.

The host was lovely and room was clean. However, I found the room very small (it was an economy room so wasnt expecting it to be super spacious, but even still). It was fairly noisy as near busy roads. Room was dark with little natural light. There was complimentary bottled water which was nice, but one of the bottles in our fridge was half consumed already. Again, lovely host but stay just didnt meet my expectations.

This could easily have been a 5, but I try to point out the little things that make it less than perfect. First, next to a busy highway, this is convenient, but not so great. The pool area is not great, but I wasn't there to relax by the pool. This is not the best place for that. They have great rooms, and small rooms. We had a small room, but we just need a shower and a place to sleep and it was good for that. Great places to eat around it, but not as good as some of the other areas. If the other apartment/condos was a 5, this place would be a 4, so you have to compare apples to oranges to some extent. I would stay there again, but the decision might include pricing considerations, including paying more for one of the better rooms. This is a boutique hotel and you can upscale the rooms quite a bit from the basic one we had.,

We arrived 2 1/2 hours earlier than check in time, it was Australia Day public holiday and 38deg C in Brisbane. Nevertheless, cheerful Charles, opened the carpark gates, welcomed us into our room early and oh Bliss, the air conditioning was already on making our room so very comfortable! 👏👏👏👏👏 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Loved staying here! The location was great and the room was like the perfect apartment stay! Staff was very kind and friendly and they sorted out our two reservations into one without a worry. The Japanese restaurant next door is brilliant as well and be sure to check out the French bakery a few blocks away. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Only complaint I have is there was no milk alternative in the breakfast room. I am lactose intolerant. So no cereal and no normal morning coffee fix. Otherwise I would certainly consider staying there again.
