Stayed 4 nights, ordered the same thing from room service 3 times, got 3 different variations each time. It was not good food at all. Cleanliness leaves a little too be desired. The bathroom for example, unless you used grout with built in mold, the tiles haven't been properly cleaned in years. The bottle opener in my room had some sort of deposit in it too. Not great, but passable. Can not fault the staff though, impeccable service from start to finish.

Locatie uitstekend, netjes, vriendelijk personeel, uitstekend ontbijt, dicht bij openbaar vervoer. Zou er de volgende keer weer naartoe gaan. Enige wat ik jammer vond is dat de bar om 22.00 uur dicht ging, ook in t weekend. Geen mogelijkheid om nog even een glaasje te drinken als we terug kwamen in t hotel.

Der Check-in verlief einwandfrei. Wir brauchten noch nicht einmal unsere englischen Sprachkenntnisse anzuwenden - der Herr an der Rezeption sprach hervorragend deutsch! Allgemein war das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich. Auch beim Frühstücksbuffet gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt in jedem Falle! Sobald etwas nicht mehr vorhanden war, wurde sofort wieder aufgefüllt. Die Teppiche in unserem Zimmer sowie auch auf den Fluren hatten ihre besten Zeiten schon vor längerer Zeit gesehen - gestört hat es uns nicht. Nicht überzeugt hat uns die Reinigung des Zimmers. Mal wurden die Betten nicht oder nur teilweise gemacht, mal wurde ein nasses Handtuch einfach zusammengelegt, welches wir zum Trocknen aufgehängt hatten (Anmerkung: Wir gehören nicht zu den Gästen, die jeden Tag ihre Handtücher gewechselt haben möchten). Seife gab es - falls überhaupt - nur auf expliziter Anforderung hin; das Auffüllen des Duschbades wurde leider völlig ignoriert. Auch der Hinweis mit der Aufschrift "Eco-Service" oder "Full-Service", den wir an den Türgriff hängten, brachte da keine Abhilfe. Der Fernsehempfang war sehr schlecht, was für uns aber kein Problem war. Insgesamt betrachtet waren wir mit dem Hotel zufrieden und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen!

Since it is near Keleti station, it is super friendly for tourists who need to find a big building in case of being lost. 4. The corridor next to the hotel was a bit dark in the evening but I would not say it was dangerous. Just be careful. 5. It was a bit noisy in the night because of the siren. The hotel did provide earplugs though. 6. There are some restaurants and fast food chains nearby; still, if you are looking for particular fine dining, you may take bus or metro toward inner city area. Buses run frequently and I didn’t wait too long. In general, I recommend this hotel for its location.

Hotel staff were amazing! My boyfriend left his phone in a taxi and they went to great lengths to track it down. The room was very clean and spacious, however traffic noises were loud at night

Great location, right next to the Keleti Train station. Beautiful view of the station. The hotel is a little old, but clean and the bed is very comfortable. Everyone is very friendly and kind. Overall, we had a great 3 nights, breakfast each morning was was included and lots to Choose from (buffet style) and was good and included in our booking, easy access to Keleti Train Station (5 mins walk), clean and looks like it was renovated, bathroom tub/shower should be hard for some with accessibility needs or older travellers, as it’s a good step up into the bath.

Location is good as it very close to the main station, price also good for value it reflects the hotel is aged. My room next to the lift and it’s clear to hear the ppl talking when sitting outside the sofa and lift ring. Room is clear, however the facilities are aged, the bed sinks. But in compare to the price and convenience, it is fair enough. Good for budget travel.

I often take trains to/from Keleti and this hotel is walkable (even with heavy luggage) from the train station. The staff are very eager to help you with your needs. The breakfast is fabulous. Transportation options are all very close by. The hotel has a “Hungarian feel” and I really like that about it.

My room was upgraded for free which was a nice surprise after a long flight. Street traffic from hotel room can be heard at night since it's next to busy roads but the location is very convenient for people travelling from/to Keleti railway station. Pleased with my stay and would book again.

They brought the food in the restaurant on neewspaper. When I protested, they said this was a special paper prepared specifically for food. Then what is the paint for the letters? It was directly in touch with the food. Also, they have “service charge” (another name for the tip), but only one lady waitress told me that don’t give a tip, it is included in the bill. The other waiters did not mention this, they expected the second tip. Nice, yes?

Property is ok, room was adequate, clean. Issue is breakfast buffet, the caffe is watered down, not enough personal to handle it. I was there a year ago, was much better. The location is good, next to the train station and 2 lines of Metro. and on major thoroughfare. The area became run down, although is safe. The metropolitan government run by socialists is responsible for it. Sounds familiar, Dave thing happening in democrats run cities in USA. At least the are is still safe. Pity, Budapest is a beautiful city.
