Excellent spa hotel by the Danube river, approx 20 mins walk into the city centre. Before booking, I was concerned that the hotel might be run down, based on the photos of the decor of the rooms, which are quite dated. But I was pleasantly surprised that it was in better condition that I expected. It was also very clean and the service was excellent. With a renovation of the decor in the rooms and spa, this hotel would be hard to beat!

Das Hotel hat eine Riesige Baustelle mitten drinnen ab 7 uhr wird geklopft und gehammert, wir wurden vorher nicht informiert. Da kann mann sich nicht erholen, Due Dusche in Bad komplett hinüber, das Wasser spritzt in jeder Richtung, und duschvorhang....wie in der 80 er...und das Wellnessbereich eine Katastrophe Aber das Höhepunkt Die Sauna und Dampfbad ist getrennt Männer und Frauen, so etwas hatte ich noch nie, warum sollte ich bitte hierher gehen mit mein Partner???? Und sie gehen in der sauna mit Badeanzug, das sollte auf der portal genau beschreiben das Hotel ... Wellness bereich komplett Renovierungsbedürftig bedürftig, alles hinüber... Personal in Groß und ganz freundlich, aber wenn mann etwas sagt die abtworten nur sie können nichts dafür. Day beste war wie uns beschwert haben wegen Baustelle an Rezeption.: das steht hier sagte sie...auf einen A5 kleine zettel auf zwei sprachen du kannst sie garnicht lesen nur mit lupe...das in ganzen haus Renovierung stadt finden... Also Nein Dankeschön Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und unsere Freunde waren alle ersten mal in Budapest Sorry Nächte mal zahle ich sicher nicht in Vorhinein. Familie aus Linz

The hotel has been recently renovated (2025) and therefore the interior and rooms are in a great shape. Also the location is good. With nice views on the danube and the green Margit Island and the beautiful Buda hills. The SPA area is nice and really good with little children , however it would need renovation as well. The staff was also nice and helpful. The only negative thing to mention is that the cleaning staff is not on top of their game. Our suite had some spiderwebs here and there , also they do not seem to vacuum under the bed and sofa.

The room I stayed in was beautiful and clean with a very updated interior and many options for lighting throughout the room for different purposes throughout the day and night. I also don't remember hearing any noise from adjacent rooms or the hallway during my entire two week stay, which was lovely. The hotel is very conveniently located on bus lines and across the street from a rental bike station, as well as just a few blocks from the metro, which was all very convenient for getting around. It felt very safe as well. If I'm ever in Budapest again, I would definitely stay here again!

The Elevators are so noisy and the resonans sound from them spread in a very big part of the hotel. I have stayed there 4 times and all 4 times that sound from the Elevators have killed my sleep. Last time I booked a junior suite and that was the worst of them all. That room was right next to the elevators.

Very old fashioned hotel with old furniture, curtains etc. Rooms are very small but relatively clean. The weelness area is good. Parking costs 12 Euros in not so busy area.

We stayed for several days in this hotel and I would like to mention always choose this stay in the past. Therefore we experienced changes, the reception is very kind but the quality of service did not exceeded our expectation, the breakfast is amazing as always The room service declined not as much cleaning like before and some days at all we had to let the reception know It’s sad to see how service declines when a hotel does not pay enough attention to a quality service and requests placed 6 months in advance !

AC did not work properly, I had an allergic reaction & couldn't sleep because it was too hot. Uncomfortable bathroom, every time we took a shower the floor was flooded. The shower floor was very slippery we requested a rubber rug for showers several times but never received it; my husband slipped & hurt his hand. Because of the flooding, we had to change rooms. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

Nous avons été très déçus: l’hôtel semble être resté dans une autre époque. La chambre n’était pas prête à notre arrivée. Nous avons même retrouvé une chaussette sous le lit. la salle de bain était minuscule et ne correspond pas à ce qu’on peut attendre d’un hôtel 4 étoiles : la pommeau de douche ne tient pas, la baignoire à été repeinte, les joints de carrelage sont anciens, on note des trous dans le mur, les bouchons de bonde ont 50 ans… La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et on a passé la nuit bien trop au chaud. Le service était hautain et nous avons passé 10 minutes au check in pour la vérification des cartes d’identité (inclus celles des enfants). Seule la piscine a sauvé la chose.

We loved this hotel! it was one of the few hotels that we stayed in while in Europe that had a refrigerator. The in hotel Dining options are amazing. we ate 70 percent of our meals at the hotel restaurant. The spa is incredible and the staff make you feel so comfortable. The hotel is right on the river with walking trails along the road. It was a great experience and we hope to stay there again!

The apartment suite we booked was new and huge with two bathrooms and full kitchen. The Miele appliances were so new and no instructions. Had to look up on internet how to use cooktop and washing machine. They should provide instructions in the room. View was outstanding, over the Danube.Loved the Yellow Bisztró cafe. Was open all day. Great massages and pedicure there. It is a spa hotel.

The doors and walls were not acoustic. When we pass from hallway and somebody in the the room speaks, i hear it clearly. Even de farts!! The breafast was so poor. The corrupted fruits everyday served. 👎👎 Not recommended.

I had a great stay. The staff was very friendly they let me to use the spa before check in and check out and they have luggage storage. They provide robe slippers toiletries hair dryer. I had lovely river view comfy bed. The spa was lovely from 28-38C water. The breakfast was lovely too so many options. Highly recommend this hotel and I will be back
