This is a very nice boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood near many parks and small shops and cafes. The hotel has a nice small bar with food service along with nice breakfast. The front desk staff was very attentive and registration was quick. We stayed here one night before transferring to the nearby cruise port for our two week cruise out of Buenos Aires.

This hotel is very well situated and has a nice breakfast buffet and small lobby bar. Room was spacious but smelled with bad body odor every time we walked into it each day. Not sure if that happens in other rooms. Outside of that it was a nice property.

Very old property and the age shows. Neighborhood is safe but far from everything, mostly older people in the neighborhood. A lot of little bugs in the room. Subpar breakfast at the best. Service is great and the staff is very accommodating.

Reservei uma suíte junior, quando entrei na acomodação percebi que nao era o que tinha reservado, imediatamente liguei pra recepçao e reclamei, alguns minutos depois me ligaram de volta e disseram que realmente eu tinha razão, mas que somente poderia fazer a troca no dia seguinte, pois certamente a suíte estava ocupada, minha primeira noite passei num ap luxo mesmo tendo pago por uma suíte. No dia seguinte me ofereceram um jantar cortesia no clube de jazz que fica no subsolo do hotel, como pedido de desculpas e, que por volta de 13h eles mesmos trocariam minha bagagem pra suíte. Voltei ao hotel por volta das 15h30m e o recepcionista disse que a suíte so estaria pronta as 17h, por fim, so mudei pra suíte por volta das 19h. A suíte muito antiga, cheiro fortíssimo de mofo, mobiliário muito antigo, apenas o banheiro foi renovado, o quarto totalmente obsoleto. Fui ao club de jazz usufruir do tal jantar cortesia, no final o garçom vem me trazer uma conta com 25% de desconto, contestei com ele que eu estava ali para tentarem amenizar um erro que fizeram comigo, daí vai ele falar com supervisor, era como se eu tivesse pedindo favor ou comida de graça. Não recomendo, pelo mesmo preço é possível se hospedar em hotéis mais novos, sem cheiro de mofo e com uma equipe de funcionários mais competente!

In general very nice hotel with nice service but very noisy rooms and we were not able to rest good. Rooms are very close to elevator and if families or friends are there you will not be able to rest. Employees are communicating with a speakers frequently and renovations are done constantly using a hammer!! Beds and pillows are ok but not great quality. I will not return to this hotel since we were unable to rest and sleep well.

This was my second stay after a five night stay last week. This time I was in and older part of the hotel, and the room was somewhat rundown. It was not as nice as the room that I had last week. All other services were the same. The staff is very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. My only bad experience was receiving a $147 charge after my first day, and no one could explain what it was for. Other than that the Melia is an excellent property.

We enjoyed this boutique hotel in the Recoleta area. It felt safe and lots of food options close by. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet delicious. The concierge service was excellent, they set up an airport pickup, arranged a city tour and gave recommendations on a tango show. They were very responsive before the trip with information. I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice hotel in safe Recoleta… good room and breakfast. They did not give free bottle of wine that was promised on Hotels.com site. Restaurant was very pricey for dinner and just ok. I would stay again but eat elsewhere for dinner.

This is our second time staying at this lovely hotel, and we absolutely enjoyed it. Breakfast at Melia, accompanied by live music, is fantastic. Although they usually host it in the jazz room downstairs, it has temporarily been moved to the lobby on the first floor due to an ongoing construction project. While I understand this is only a short-term change, I wasn't very happy about having people with suitcases passing right next to my omelet during breakfast. Aside from that, our stay was wonderful. Thanks to the reception for arranging a welcome bottle of wine for us!
