As of the check-out date on April 18, the hotel pool was still unavailable. Guests had to use the pool at the casino hotel across the street, which required picking up a new room key card at that hotel's front desk. Also, guests had to bring their towels from the original hotel, which was inconvenient!

Really big updated rooms with comfortable beds and great team in all departments, Robert in the restaurant, yu in concierge and all the front desk team were great. Excellent location. Pool was closed bit they had alternate options available

Parking was 20 per night and limited to 2 mtrs high. Very tight if in larger car like land cruiser. Not suitable for larger than that. Rooms were comfortable as you would expect for the price. My biggest disappointment was terrible loud feedback coming from a night club directly across from our room until 4 am. Must have been the Casino. Apart from that noise it would have been a wonderful stay.

The impressive lobby is amazing, we hang out there quite often. The hotel is walkable to the main area of town. Lots of dining and shopping options nearby. The Christmas buffet lunch was totally worth it. The only drawback is there's only one pool open with the main pool closed.

We stayed in a newly upgraded room, which was beautiful and comfortable. No microwave was a downer however. The pools were stone cold leaving one spa as the only warm option given weather was on the cold side for our 8 day stay, to accomodate many many adults and kids in floaties at the same time. Floor of the pools peeling away and need some work, same as the outside of the building itself but clearly its a work in progress and will no doubt look great once complete. The pool garden grounds were beautiful, and gym had all the necessities. We had to emergency evacuate at 12.40am (woken in the middle of the night) due to what was likely we guess a false alarm, but staff played ignorant to guest questions and didnt give away any information to guests about what happened when asked which was disappointing given most guests were quite understandably worried and confused. Walking distance to everywhere we needed to be, and pretty quiet after 10.30pm (we had raging band noise from the casino until then on weekends) Overall it suited most of our needs and we would likely stay again

Good overall, not amazing Pros: Great location, decor, bar and restaurant. Hot tub was alright and the gym is decent. Balcony had an amazing view. Cons: No sauna (even though it’s advertised), pool needs major repairs (one of two pools open, plus pool bar was closed), and discovered mold on the bathroom floor (we were in room 719). Really a 4 star hotel, some repairs and renovations can bring it up to par.

The Pullman is spotlessly clean The staff are wonderful can’t do enough to help The only downside was the pool area is being replaced so there’s no pool and I feel we should of been told this as we would of stayed somewhere else I feel we should of been offered some sort of discount for not having a pool We were told we could use other pools around the area and they would pay for an uber but it’s not always something you plan sometimes you just want to nip down for a swim for half hour so waiting around for an uber is not always convenient

ホテルや部屋の雰囲気はとても良かった。スタッフの対応も素晴らしいと思う。部屋の調度品で汚れているものがあった。初日にティッシュがすぐになくなってしまった。部屋のメイクアップ掃除がやや適当で、2日目は掃除用雑巾が置き去りになっていた。綿棒などの補充が3日目用は忘れられていた。バスマットも初日は2枚あったが、以降は1枚しか補充されず。掃除の細かな点はそこまで気にせず、これもオーストラリアらしさと思えば大した不満でも無いので、総じてとても良いステイだった。

Staff was friendly and professional. The room was outdated, not taken care of and lots of stains on the carpet. Not worth the cost. I even asked if I could get a discount or a better rate because of all those issues and the answer was no.

The hotel is lovely. Unfortuantely I was given a room that had a very strong mould smell. There was black mould on the ceiling. I was moved into a clean renovated room. When I tried to phone in the morning, to extend my stay reception did not pick up, so I decided to check out and moved on to a lovely hotel.

エントランスロビーには毎日フルーツウォーターがあって、清潔感もあって、良い香りもする。空室はあったような感じだったが、コネクティングルームにもなるタイプの部屋だった。そのため隣の人の声が丸聞こえ。隣の人が悪かったが、朝6時30分から子供に怒鳴る声で毎朝目が覚めた。部屋を変えて貰えば良かった。

Staff were helpful and the we were greeted with a warm welcome. The room was very old and dated. It was musty and damp also. I understand that it's tropical far north Qld in wet season but the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan so everytime we had a shower it added to the humidity. I later found out that we were placed in an old unrefurbished room. When a hotel wasn't full like it was during our stay, I struggle to understand why they would put someone in that room! Swimming poolnarea and pool also looked very tired and in need of refurbishment.

You walk into the foyer and believe that this is a 5 star hotel. But only the foyer is. The hallways leading to the rooms have threadbare carpet coming apart at the seams, with dirty walls and bad plaster patching, grimy room doors, badly in need of a new coat of paint. My 2 night stay on the 16th floor was in a dated room with almost see through curtains. Some of the lights above the beds worked...but not all. You also wouldn't expect single ply paper in the bathroom. My flight into Cairns saw me arrive at the hotel at 12. My room wasn't ready and I was told housekeeping would be alerted.. but it was another 90 minutes before my room was ready. Perhaps I booked the cheapest room in the hotel - I can't compare to other rooms, but having stayed at 5 star hotels in other places, this hotel definitely does not rate that high.

They were kind enough to give us one of their new rooms to mark our celebration. The room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Lovely bed and bathroom, beautiful balcony, and excellent breakfast. Staff are also very polite and friendly. Top class!

From arrival to departure we were very happy with our stay. We were a little early for check in but were happily accommodated and allowed to leave our hire car (about to be returned) at the front entrance while we unloaded and took our luggage up to our room. We stayed in one of the Superior City/Mountain rooms on level 7 and had a great view over the newly refurbished pool area and beyond to the city and hills. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, a small balcony and many nice touches throughout. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool and happy hour at the bar during our stay - both great. The pool area was a lovely place to hang out (even though some of the new decking does not appear to be quite complete, this did not impact our use if the pool). The water temperature was perfect on a hot day - slightly refreshing when you first get in but perfect for cooling off, and the spa pool was nice and hot if you wanted to warm up. The location is great, easily walkable to the lagoon, wharf area, a woolworths for essentials and many eating options. Rusty's Market for some great fruit selections was about a 10 min walk and the shopping centre just a little further. All staff we encountered (including cleaning staff) were friendly and helpful and we were very happy with our choice (we had considered many options in Cairns). We would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the Pullman. Dylan at the front desk was super helpful and polite. He did all he could to upgrade us to an even better room just because!! The buffet breakfasts were a great start to the day. Jesse at the adventures desk was totally honest and helpful about what excursions we should take. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!!!

No doubt a lovely hotel but check in process was painfully long and slow particularly given they already had all of my details. Also unfortunately the bed was awful and it was a long sleepless night on what felt like metal springs. With so many other options in town I wouldn’t stay here again

Lovely location property does need some work. Most of front desk staff were not very helpful and when you call reception from in room phone they never answered but calling from a cellphone they did. Overall a very average hotel stay expected far higher from a Pullman hotel

The previously arranged upgrade was not correctly showing in the hotel system which is disappointed. However the hotel had given a credit to use to complement their mistake. Nobody pick up phone calls after many attempts is another area to look into. Otherwise, it’s a convenient location to all shops.

Overall i enjoyed my experience at the pullman international cairns. The hotel enterance and lobby is that of a 5 star hotel but i found the room dated and the surface of the pool in need of renovation. Its in a great location in walking distance of the restaurants and boat tours plus just 15 min taxi ride to airport

I often stay at this hotel with my children for the convenient location, great facilities and helpful staff. My last visit for 10 days over January school holidays was disappointing - the pool bar remained closed the entire stay which meant having to order drinks and food via a QR code. Orders for water, ice and drinks took as long as 45 mins to arrive. There was an empty water dispenser at the pool area which after requesting for it to be refilled multiple times, over multiple days it remained empty. During breakfast there should have been someone manning an egg station, which was also empty for the duration. Requests for certain cereal or condiments were either forgotten or took 30 mins to arrive, at which point we had finished breakfast. On my last morning, I had requested assistance with my baggage to bring to reception. I had 3 suitcases and was travelling with 2 young children on my own. I didn’t think it an unreasonable request. No one showed up to assist in 30 mins so it took multiple trips to reception.

The only think i could say that was disappointing was the breakfast. Compared to other places i have stayed in Cairns, the pullman international cairns only had very basic & limited options for breakfast. I ended up going back to another place i had previously stayed at for breakfast

Loved everything about this property. Room was nicely sized. Bathroom was great. Lots of towels and shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, etc. Plenty of places to lay out your suitcase. Loved the tea in the room. Breakfast buffet was delicious!

Loved our stay at the Pullman International. Everything ticks over behind the scenes to make for a perfect holiday, always enough towels at the pool etc. A lovely room. Excellent buffet breakfast, wonderful chief cooking omelettes, and Jessie was very helpful organising a trip for us. We will definitely be back!
