Friendly and helpful staff. Doorman made sure I stayed safe when standing outside waiting for cabs or uber. Front desk was always helpful. Enjoyed that they had a sauna as well as a pool with a great view of the mountain!

The ONOMO hotel, located in a good, central location, has 8 floors. We were lucky to be on the 8th floor overlooking the square. I imagine the lower floors might be noisier due to vendors setting up and dismantling their booths. The breakfast (which we weren't told was included when we checked in) was incredible - one of the nicest buffets I've experienced in a hotel. The pool, while small, was refreshing. Laundry is available but very expensive.

Room was ok. No bar fridge. Had a functional safe. Clean bathroom although small (can't close the door and be in it at the same time). Some mould in the shower base. Breakfast was good. There is a bar attached but I didn't go. Small swimming pool and an exercise room with two bikes and some weights. Area is not super safe. Didn't walk around at night but felt ok in the day if careful.

Hotel bem localizado, limpo e com bom café da manhã. Recbe ônibus de turismo e portanto em alguns horários fica congestionado. O Fitness center não é bem equipado (falta esteira de caminhada). Café da manhã inicia as 6:30 AM mas nessa hora ainda faltam itens básicos. Reposição de xícaras e copos deixa a desejar. ! torradeira de pão é insuficiente para atender horário de pico.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. On site Restaurant and bar was useful. Breakfast was tasty and starts early which is useful to get to Robben Island and Table Mountain which i recommend as early as possible. Taxis are very cheap to travel to other places especially after dark. The room was super clean, just the air conditioning needs an upgrade in future luckily end of March was not too hot, so had window open. On site parking was handy too.

Loved the hotel and the breakfast was simply gorgeous and bountiful. The African market out front was the frosting on the cake. The swimming pool was an added bonus for my husband who does laps; it was small but adequate.

Nice location. Close to shops, laundry, food options. Excellent staff - helpful, polite and on to it. The hotel is not new but has its own personality. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not clean at all - I’m guessing it may be better for summer. The room we were in had very poor internet. The bar was nice. The best part was the in-house tour company called Azoul Tours - very honest, on time and trustworthy drivers. The manager Yousef is mainly onsite.

The hallway smelled of something rotten, there was a dead roach that stayed in hallway for at least two days, asked front desk for luggage trolley never sent one went to get and front desk didn’t even apologize or care. Free breakfast was always cold no matter what time I went. Room super small and no fridge.

Room was incredibly small, carpets dirty, woodwork damaged, bathroom beading in shower black and mouldy, sink blocked and wooden trim under sink laminate all splitting very very disappointing quality. Most important problem was door did not lock and you had to pull it tight every day, despite asking twice it was never fixed. Positive though the staff very friendly and good location if you want to be central capetown.

Well maintained and secure hotel located in the city centre. Good sized clean room with kettle, tea and coffee, quality sheets, and pillows, shower accessories. No view from my room, overlooking rear of run down building. Staff very helpful and willing to assist. Good assortment of breakfast with healthy options and omelette cook on standby.

Check in took a long time and when i got to my roo. It wasn't ready so had to go back to Reception for new room. Room was a bit tired and dated , shower lacked power and not very warm . Nice view from 8th floor and close to small pool . Surprisingly noisy when the Daytime market startred to set up every morning. Most of the Staff were lovely and a decent breakfast

Hotel needs to fix its air con. Our room was so hot the first night. It was awful. Someone came to try and fix it and while it was better it did not work properly. We had to leave our window open but the street was so noisy so wasn’t good sleep again. Until they fix their air con would def recommend to look elsewhere.

im Großen und ganzen war es OK. Die Unterkunft war etwas schlechter als erwartet. Die Bilder Stimmen nicht ganz mit der Realität überein. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr überlaufen gewesen, so das wir uns entschlossen haben, in einem der vielen nahegelegenen Kaffees frühstücken zu gehen.

Hotel is in general very good, except for a couple of issues. WiFi was basically non-existent in our room and the door access broke twice and no cards worked at all having to have an employee use a master card to let us in. Apart from that, the staff is very good and attentive. Location is quite alright as well

I stayed at ONOMO for 10 days and I had a lovely time . The room was spacious and the bed very comfy so were the pillows . I am very grateful for the way the staff treated me especially Patrick who was lovely he made sure that all my requirements were met . George the driver was lovely too ,not to mention the girls at reception who were ever so kind to me . I can safely say that this hotel can be recommended to anyone travelling to Cape Town, Thanks to all at ONOMO Hotel xx

3 star quality. Awesome bartenders. Housekeeping was adequate but not stellar. Used dishes left in room, fresh water not refilled etc. Excellent breakfast buffet. Room cards never worked, got inactivated daily.

Pros: Very nice staff, great location, reasonably priced. Cons: desperately needs refresh/remodel. A/C doesn’t work (and I changed rooms because A/C wasn’t cooling but was VERY LOUD. Unfortunately the new room’s A/C unit did the same thing). No hot water for showers in the morning.

After arriving at midnight after a long haul flight, we were warmly greeted & checked in very quickly. Room as fine. Breakfast was plentiful the next morning. Hotel in good location. Would recommend a stay here.

The Onomo was a good hotel for our needs. It is centrally located in the Cape Town CBD which is great for proximity and convenience but it was loud both inside and outside the hotel. Outside the hotel at night can feel a little dodgy so be aware of thatbif traveling with a family.

The hotel was comfortable and they were very kind to allow us to make an early check in. Breakfast was great and the location is fine. But after dinner, I recommend to come with a Uber. The only point that it was not good is some noise at night from some nearby bars and early in the morning of people coming to work in the street market.

Hotel was very central, the market was right next door, view from room. Bathroom very small, but hotel was good overall. A fridge would have been nice.. Breakfast excellent but DON'T have dinner in the hotel restaurant. Very little choice and what we had was awful. Tasteless and cold. The chef could not have cared less when we complained.The staff were helpful and friendly and parking outside, taken care of.

The breakfast needs more variety although it is delicious. The market in front of hotel is very close to the hotel and too many people are haggling you for money. The hotel needs updating the tv stations so there is also greater variety on the tv entertainment. The bar needs to be open beyond 10pm; it is an hotel after all! Overall I will rate it an 8 because I would revisit this hotel.

Stay was average , check in was slow though Patrick was great who moved our check in well & even helped with our luggage to the rooms. Bar service was good the big barman was competent & friendly.... breakfasts were poor, quality, choices were not great, service was slow, uncaring & dirty crockery & cutlery slow to be cleared. Rooms were ok, however water flow was not great ( even though i understood the environmental angle)... all in all 5/10 ... we as a family do 3 holidays a year so understand alot of hotel standards.
