Pretty good place. Clean but a little tired. Bathroom had heavy leak from shower control which has clearly taken its toll on paintwork. Powerful shower. Comfy bed. No aircon which was noticeable in the 30° heat! Breakfast was poor. Sunday, half way through the session they ran out of white bread. Orange juice was diluted with water after it ran out. Shortage of plates and glasses. Poached eggs half raw on both mornings. Items missing from full English. Part of a hotel stay in the breakfast and this was disappointing to say the least. Staff all pleasant and helpful but no bread and watery orange juice along with undercooked eggs is just poor and leaves me deciding not to stay again.

Well located for the train station. Friendly staff. Room was tired, no black out curtains on the main road with lots of blue light activity on the street through the evening. No bedside lamps in working order. But fine for one night’s stay on business.
