Simple no fuss motel at the services but surprisingly comfortable and pleasant. Decent food and some good deals available in the restaurant, free parking and a small but usable gym. Can't go wrong for the price.

I was worried about the hotel being at a service station but you wouldn't have known it was there as it was across the way The hotel has a good little gym, a restaurant with good food and good prices, the breakfast was really nice and plenty of choice A nice grass area and seating outside the back, a bar and the room was lovely and clean Very good value for money, the staff are lovely

My room was quite small, and I was unexpectedly charged £5.00 for parking because I booked through Hotels.com rather than directly with the hotel. This additional charge was not clearly mentioned during the booking process, which was disappointing. Clearer communication about parking fees would greatly improve the guest experience.

This was booked as an overnight on the way home from holidays. The room was cramped, the sofa bed was not very comfy. The bathroom was dirty - pubic hairs in the shower and the shower was broken so did not stay up above head. There were 2 towels left for a family of 4 and the pillows were small and lumpy, no extra pillows left in room. Only 2 cups for making hot drinks - for a family of 4. The room was uncomfortably hot. Heating was switched off. Noisy with window open. Fan in room was even noisier.

We stayed as a group of 11 in 5 rooms. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. However the room we stayed in 135 had a very strong smell of urine. I believe this was coming from the carpet. I did make the reception staff aware the following day and they said that they would report it to housekeeping, again the staff were very good. However having a child with us we had to be very careful where we walked.

So, overall this is a completely fine hotel if you need to stay in the Chorley area. It's not spectacular and I didn't really expect it would be a 5 Star place or anything. However, the big issue was the mildew in the bathroom. It was all around the door jam and the shower area. It was so super obvious that it was impossible not to see it. I get it, England is wet and mold is a regular issue. But man... this should be handled easily. The staff were lovely though and I don't think they are intentionally mishandling the room.

Rooms were not dusted properly, could find layer of dust around on table and lights. Only 2 towels were provided by the house keeping for a room having triple occupancy. But overall nothing else to note, a fairly comfortable stay. Will surely visit again.

While the room looked clean, there was a smell of mould which hit us as soon as we walked in. We thought it might be just that the room hadnt been aired. We opened windows, sprayed perfume and went out for the evening. Unfortunately, the smell was still there on our return and when we woke up the next morning.

Overall ok. Check in pretty smooth. £5 to park the car as i had used hotels.com and not booked direct. Room okay but not as clean as could be, sofa looked worn out and walls grubby in places. Bathroom towels could do with replacing. Windows had blown so condensation between panels. Bed comfy. Did not ahve any food here due to quick stop over

The double sofa bed was uncomfortable. It dipped down at one side so didn’t sleep great. Otherwise everything else was fine. We didn’t get a breakfast so can’t comment on that.

the hotel was easy to access, and the staff were pleasant. charged extra for our dog which was not described (£20) Our room was upstairs, but was like sleeping in a sauna, my asthma was severely affected in the heat. I had to leave the hotel and find a local supermarket to purchase a fan (there was a small one in the room)

The stay was generally comfortable. No AC could be a issue if the weather is hot. Wasn't impressed with the £5 charge for customers who booked through Hotels.com /Expedia.no mention of this before arrival. No handwash in room either. Finally if on southbound carriageway no access.However staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience.

A lovely warm greeting from the team as we checked in. Our room had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was so quiet. We had the meal deal and the quality and amount for what you pay is excellent! I stayed here for a night with my daughter whilst work was being done on the house and we only live 10 mins away. If we lived further afield then Id definitely use this hotel again. For a low budget hotel, its amazing! Everyone is so friendly and polite. I cant rate it highly enough.

Booked a late check out. Didn't require it in the end so (in plenty of time, before our actual check out time) asked to reverse this. Was told no, and that because I'd paid they couldn't reverse the payment. Won't be staying here again

Not a greatest of stays . Guy on reception was rude , unhelpful and clearly not interested. Phoned down for an ironing board etc and never answered. When i came down personally he told me he'd been busy with guests. Not a sole going about as it was late . The lady on in the morning was lovely and apologised for the previous night .

The room which was already paid for and even done an online check in was simply given to someone else! Ended up with no room past midnight with family. The staff simply said sorry and couldn't evwn do a refund as they did not have a refund form !!! Such a pathetic service. Definitely would avoid .

I have stayed at this hotel before and that went well so I booked again. Large spacious car park, clean throughout, efficient check in and superb, happy, welcoming staff. I especially want to recognise Seonaid on reception who ran reception and bar so well, and Alix the chef on duty, who despite having very few restaurant users, still prepared the meals to a very high standard with generous portions and excellent presentation. A pleasure to interact with professional hospitality employees.

This is a regular stop for us en route to Scotland. Rooms are very clean and the service is exceptional- always. They do a very cheap meal deal for dinner and breakfast. Can’t really fault it.

Our stay here was a good stop-over on our way to Scotland. The only thing that concerned me was the unclear instructions on how to find the place. My sat nav took me to an electric barrier which couldn’t be opened. The hotel website should make it clear that access is from M6 motorway services Northbound only

A decent enough motorway hotel. Room was clean amd tidy and could not hear the busy M6 motorway. Breakfast was buffet style but plentiful which a good choice. Bed was comfy enabling a decent nights sleep

Access to property poor. Access from M6 closed due to roadworks. Had to access property from a dark side road through a barrier which took a long time to be opened. Not what's required late at night when youre tired and simply want to sleep. In morning, werent able to leave property by same exit and had to travel miles out of way north on M6 as roadworks had finished.

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Staff friendly. Advised on arrival to prepay for special 2 course dinner rate, which would have been good if there had been starters or dessert we both liked. I only had a main course. Plus the drink ( cider ) my husband ordered for me, didn’t come, after I asked about it, the wrong cider was brought. We waited nearly an hour for our food to arrive and were eventually told our order had been lost ( caught behind another one). We eventually got our food. The supervisor on duty said I’d be refunded, but because I’d paid by card, would have to supply my bank details, which I didn’t have with me ( for security, I don’t keep those details on my phone etc). Supervisor said ‘ no problem, complete the form at reception when you check out, then you can email the details’ but the receptionist on duty didn’t know anything about me emailing my bank details, so I left my email contact and she said the supervisor would email me - nothing yet, 12.55pm 24.06.24, over 24 hrs since we checked out Postcode took us to a different hotel, somewhere close by - identical postcode.

Unfotunately there was a coach party who had breakfast at 7am. We were told to come after 8am - at this time the buffet was lacking in eg croissants / had to request white bread / sugar to be replenished etc

Very good service, c;ean and comfortable room but the food left a lot to be desired. I had the driest roast chicken I've ever experienced. I only ate it as I'd driven down from the Highlands and was very hungry. The full English breakfast the following morning wasn't much better.

Booked two rooms, both of which were clean, comfortable and equipped with what you need! We had dinner and breakfast at the in-house restaurant and enjoyed both. Staff approachable, pleasant and helpful.. We really enjoyed our stay. Would stay again ..
