Sehr schönes Hotel mit Blick vom Frühstücksraum in den Park, mit Blick auf einen See. Gute Verkehrsanbindung ins Kölner Zentrum mit Straßenbahn oder Bus (Haltestelle in der Nähe). Parken gebührenpflichtig. Gutes Frühstück.

Es wäre wünschenswert wenn es in diesem Hotel auch die Möglichkeit zum sicheren abstellen von Fahrrädern gäbe. Platz wäre am Hotel genügend vorhanden. Die Möglichkeit zum Duschen in der Badewanne ist zwar gegeben aber die Glaswand ist viel zu kurz und so legt man das Bad immer unter Wasser. Der Aufenthalt war sonst seht schön und erholsam.

We went to stay for the euros so double the usual cost and well over priced , rooms 3 star , lovely staff , not a pretty hotel but great position and the back onto the park is lovely . Plenty of parking easy access to main centre 19 mins on the tram But does need updating

Sehr ruhige Zimmer, großer Parkplatz vor dem Hotel, es herrscht hier und da ein wenig Renovierungsstau. Es war aber alles heil und sauber. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gastronomie haben wir nicht genutzt, Preise wirken aber okay.

Booked this hotel on a road trip through Europe because of their announced charging for EV`s and proximity to the Cathedral. The hotel does NOT have any charging station for EV`S, neither in their overpriced outside parking lot or in the adjacent parking garage. When I asked the reception about this, I was informed to use a parking lot adjacent to the hotel that has one (1!) EV-charger. This is a charger thats run by a private company and it can only be used by members and you need to have a key brick to charge. In other words - impossible to use for a foreign country hotel guest. There is a small chargingstation 350m from the hotel with the exact same setup. As a result I ended up having to spend more than one hour in the middle of the night (after being 14 hours on the road) driving outside of the city to a Tesla Supercharger in order to keep my vehicle charged for Sentry mode, my built in refrigirator in the car and the drive to Paris the next day. When I made the reservation I specifically notified the hotel it was important for me to charge my EV at arrival. They didnt even bother to respond to me and tell me about the situation. Eventually it turned out not to be such a big deal, as the bed was so uncomfortable I didnt get much sleep throughout the night anyway. But still - completely horrible when you are tired and its late. Hotels.com should instruct Leonardo Royal Hotel to remove the statement of "Electric vehicle charging point" as this is simply false advertising.

I feel that this property is not worth the price I paid for. No breakfast or fitness center. Breakfast price is 23 Euro per person. Most of all I did not like the way receptionist treated us; no smile and it seemed like he was not happy about our stay with them and answered my questions in an unpleasant manner. They also had some issues with cleanliness. Location of the hotel is in a great place which gives you a lot of options. An emergency door to our hallway was not secured and people kept slamming the door which was very annoying and its stairs was nasty. Their lobby was not well decorated or suitable to spend some quality time.

Die Dusche war defekt, schwarze Silikonfugen an der Badewanne, die Klimaanlage ist praktisch ohne Funktion, ein riesen Schimmelpilz im Kühlschrank , die Nachttischlampe defekt, die Möbel staubig... Und jetzt das Schlimmste : Ich bin wirklich kein Pedant. Andere Hotelgäste schilderten mir ähnliche Zustände ihrer Zimmer bzw. Bäder. Die überaus freundlichen und professionellen Mitarbeiterinnen an der Rezeption sind bemüht, die Kastanien für Ihr offenbar unfähiges Management aus dem Feuer zu holen. Ich glaube nicht, dass die Schuld alleine beim Reinigungspersonal zu suchen ist. Diese werden hier womöglich einfach nicht geschult, kontrolliert und/oder ordentlich bezahlt. Schliesslich stinkt doch der Fisch zuerst am Kopf. Man kann auch alte Häuser ein bisschen in Schuss halten. Gute Besserung !!

Bonne réception, bonne compréhension, la personne qui s'occuper de ma chambre au 4 ème étage m'a toujours dit bonjour et ça c'est très rare, le pommeau de la douche ne reste pas en place et l'eau ne s'écoule pas très bien.

Das Frühstück war super, aber die Sauberkeit auf den Zimmern war schrecklich!! Dreckiger Teppich, in der Dusche Dreck uns Wasserflecken von mehreren Monaten. Ich hab mich nicht getraut barfuß sich im Zimmer zu bewegen. Am Ende sollte man noch 10€ extra bezahlen beim Check-Out! Geht garnicht und das wurde nirgendwo erwähnt !!!!

das Hotel befindet sich in der Renovierung. Das teure Frühstück war sein Geld nicht wert. Der bezahlte Parkplatz war belegt, somit musste eine Alternative gesucht werden. Die Rezeption war nett und zuvorkommend, das Personal im Restaurant leider nicht.

Great. Staff were fantastic. Tom was freezing first night. They were apologetic and have me free food the rest of the stay to make up for the problem. I would stay here again!

Sehr ruhige Zimmer, großer Parkplatz vor dem Hotel, es herrscht hier und da ein wenig Renovierungsstau. Es war aber alles heil und sauber. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gastronomie haben wir nicht genutzt, Preise wirken aber okay.

Booked this hotel on a road trip through Europe because of their announced charging for EV`s and proximity to the Cathedral. The hotel does NOT have any charging station for EV`S, neither in their overpriced outside parking lot or in the adjacent parking garage. When I asked the reception about this, I was informed to use a parking lot adjacent to the hotel that has one (1!) EV-charger. This is a charger thats run by a private company and it can only be used by members and you need to have a key brick to charge. In other words - impossible to use for a foreign country hotel guest. There is a small chargingstation 350m from the hotel with the exact same setup. As a result I ended up having to spend more than one hour in the middle of the night (after being 14 hours on the road) driving outside of the city to a Tesla Supercharger in order to keep my vehicle charged for Sentry mode, my built in refrigirator in the car and the drive to Paris the next day. When I made the reservation I specifically notified the hotel it was important for me to charge my EV at arrival. They didnt even bother to respond to me and tell me about the situation. Eventually it turned out not to be such a big deal, as the bed was so uncomfortable I didnt get much sleep throughout the night anyway. But still - completely horrible when you are tired and its late. Hotels.com should instruct Leonardo Royal Hotel to remove the statement of "Electric vehicle charging point" as this is simply false advertising.

I feel that this property is not worth the price I paid for. No breakfast or fitness center. Breakfast price is 23 Euro per person. Most of all I did not like the way receptionist treated us; no smile and it seemed like he was not happy about our stay with them and answered my questions in an unpleasant manner. They also had some issues with cleanliness. Location of the hotel is in a great place which gives you a lot of options. An emergency door to our hallway was not secured and people kept slamming the door which was very annoying and its stairs was nasty. Their lobby was not well decorated or suitable to spend some quality time.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt. Das einzige, was ich monieren möchte, ist allerdings, dass es am Sonntag aufgrund eines Brunches sehr voll beim Frühstück war und ich das demnach nicht angetreten bin, obwohl es vorher gebucht war. Sämtliche Tische waren reserviert. Aber ansonsten war es wunderbar.
