The property was in very close walking distance to the river and the cathedral, which was fantastic. We ate in the hotel restaurant, which was delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They were able to direct us to the nearby parking garage for our rental car and we got a discount at the rental garage because the hotel marked our parking ticket. Very modern, stylish rooms with air conditioning as we stayed there in July.

Perfect location in the old town. Spotlessly clean. Spacious room with comfortable beds and great shower. Without exception staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Very good breakfast selection, including wide variety of both hot and cold options. Cafe/ bar open til late . Would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again . Nothing to fault at all.

O hotel não possui estacionamento próprio. Tem de estacionar num público, uma quadra a frente. No dia que cheguei ainda estava chovendo. À exceção disso, é um bom hotel. Excelente localização. O café da manhã é básico. Quarto confortável.

Modern hotel close to the Dom and right next to the Alte Market Weinachtsmarkt. Very friendly staff, one of three related hotels in the area. The room was well appointed with a mini-fridge and safe. Big selection at breakfast in the hotel restaurant with more friendly and accommodating staff. Great area for food, etc, short walk to Hbf and Dom. Had a great four day visit, definitely will come back.

Hotel is in a great location, close walking to most big sites in Cologne. No onsite parking, but the parking is very close( maybe 200M?). Staff is very attentive. The bar/restaurant is OK, nothing special, but clean- as is the entire hotel.

The hotel is in a great location. Note: the brand has 3 hotels in close proximity so you might end up at the wrong one. Parking in public garage nearby was only 12€ with hotel validation. Staff was friendly and amazing. Breakfast was fresh-even warm eggs, sausages, and beans. Beds were European but comfy enough. Others have complained of noise-it’s a tourist area with bars and restaurants; noise all night is expected. But the windows had great soundproofing. We had a great stay.

Lovely clean room - we had a great view of the cathedral from our room which was lovely. Service was exceptional - Daniel at the front desk upgraded our room and he was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Location is very central and local to a lot of bars and pubs, plus the cathedral and train station. Great sound proofing of our room - it was a noisy friday night on the street below but when we shut our windows, couldn’t hear anything. Overall great stay.

Great location on pedestrian street near Dom. Rooms are very small, but clean and reasonably well equipped with fridge and iron and mini ironing board. Some noise from the street and the bells of the Dom, but the soundproofing with the window closed was ok. The air con unit was difficult to use and not super-effective.

Alter Markt is a happening place. Great location for food, nightlife and shopping. At arrival my room AC was broken and they did not have another room for me until the next day. The room is quite small and the bed is quite hard. They do have new double pain windows so the street noise is very minimal. For the rate they charged me (during Gamescom) I would have expected more. But overall it is fine and even very good if the rate is $200-$300 a night but not worth the $500 a night I was paying

We stayed in the Jr suite. It was an Excellent value for the low price of appx 161 Euro. A ton of space all alone on the top floor (the elevator goes to the 5th floor, but we were the only room on the 6th via a small private spiral staircase...pretty cool). We had unobstructed views of the Cathedral & 2 other large churches nearby. The gabled ceiling had seceral large windows that opened up wide & had electric rollerons operated at bedside. The large tv was on a swivel so we could watch from the couch or the bed. The desk area had a beautiful comfortable chaise lounge. The bathroom was spacious & clean. My feedback to the hotel...if you add a coat rack & a small bench at the base of the stairs, that would certainly put this room over the top. Overall, we loved this room & will definitely book it again if back in Calogne.

BEAUTIFUL and amazing bedding - top quality - NO AMERICAN AIR CONDITIONER - cannot change the temp of the air except for a few degrees up or down - had a large window which could be opened all the way - but even when cold outside could not keep room cool inside. Shower, bedding and room size all perfect - very high quality! Enjoyed the breakfast!!! Worth it!! Close to everything - walk everywhere …

Lovely clean room - we had a great view of the cathedral from our room which was lovely. Service was exceptional - Daniel at the front desk upgraded our room and he was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Location is very central and local to a lot of bars and pubs, plus the cathedral and train station. Great sound proofing of our room - it was a noisy friday night on the street below but when we shut our windows, couldn’t hear anything. Overall great stay.

Excellent location to all the bars in the old town and the Cathedral and River. Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgable about the area, giving us a map and highlighting the best places to eat and drink. We travel a lot and this is one of the best hotels i have stayed in

In the middle of the night a man stumble in to mig room, drunk. Somehow the hotelstaff had given him keys to my room. Luckily nothing happened, and thank god it was not a woman staying alone in the room.

We had our do not disturb sign on the door and the housekeepers barged in when I had just gotten out of the shower and was completely naked, exposing me to the outer hallway too. Best the hotel would give us was a “free coffee”, which they did give us in the end but felt a bit insulting. Accidents happen but the whole thing just felt poorly handled and like we were being gaslit. The receptionist at the end was more understanding but overall, was a very odd experience that I’d never had happen. Rooms are super tiny and beds aren’t very comfortable. Very unlikely we’d stay here again.

We loved our stay here! We were so close to absolutely everything we wanted to see and do. Even though the hotel is right at the Market Square, it was incredibly quiet. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed breakast every morning as well.

I picked this hotel because of its location. 10mins walk from Cologne main station and a few minutes from Cologne Cathedral. The room was perfect for one person and soundproofing was fantastic so I had no problem sleeping. Highly recommended.
