Corfu Holiday Palace

The pool is lovely and warm and the beach (and access to it) are a great addition. Always plenty of sunbeds available. The breakfast was really good, with the choice and quality being excellent. The only negatives were: The gym....very poor, broken machines, no AC and very small. Other than a collection of dumbbells and 2 cardio machines nothing else in there..pretty disappointing. The hotel is very close to the airport, so close that when planes were taking off it shook the windows and was EXTREMELY noisy in the bedrooms. It is quite far out from the main hub of restaurants and shops etc. You definitely need a car. A lovely stay though.

Nice place. Horrible manager etc. stay far away from this place is you are the United States. They will treat you like a dog. Evegenia the manager specifically. We Arrived to room and room keys didnt work so we had to wait outside with a less than one year old baby in the heat. They left the windows in the bathroom open with no screens for hours when cleaning the room. Came back to a mosquito filled room. Our baby wound up getting bitten at least 5 times. Shower and bathrooms dirty and not nearly up to par. Lots of problems and they will not compensate at all to maybe make the client happy. Another note the elevator down to the beach is great but the entire establishment is up and down many many stairs. Making it very hard for anyone with a young child in a stroller. Reconsider heavily if you have a toddler. I was able to do it bcuz I’m a personal trainer for many years and I enjoyed the extra work while on vacation but still, not ideal at all! Also. THIS IS NOT THE AREA FOR THE NICEST BEACHES ON THE ISLAND. YOU HAVE TO DRIVE ALL mid west north of island, and northwest all the way up for the best beach.

The hotel has everything you would need if you just want to stay in the complex, dining room for breakfast and dinner, a beach down below, a pool, two bars. The location was good because the city bus was at the end of the driveway as well as Hop On and Hop Off bus. The decor is very dated from the 70s. When we checked in I booked a hotel room with a lake view. What we got was a view of the parking lot on the third floor. We went down and complained and got moved to the 4th floor. When we arrived we had to fill out a form giving my credit card information even though the room had been prepaid as well there was a $10 euro environment fee that they charged. When booking through Expedia it would have been more clear that this was going to be charged.

What is not to love about this hotel! As you walk in, it has a very grand entrance where you can see the breathtaking views of the water. The food selection is outstanding. The staff is very attentive to your needs. Truly a 5 star hotel with all its amenities including underground parking and we know parking is a premium if you are staying close to the city proper. I highly recommend this hotel and already planning to be back next year.! 💕💕💕 love love love my hotel selection!

A very convenient hotel with a decent pool and private beach. Its right next to the airport so planes land and take off regularly, this didn't bother us but imagine it could of some off. Decent breakfast buffet and bar on site. Several nearby bars and the SkyView was the best. Bus just outside that goes into Corfu town in 20 mins, very handy. Hotel staff were amazing, so friendly and accommodating, excellent English. The pool gets a lot of towels placed down very early on, it would be nice if the hotel enforced their rules more. All in all though really nice stay, would go again.

El lugar es bello. El hotel es una maravilla. Amplio y con muchos entretenimientos y excelente servicio. Los restaurantes sirven muy buena comida y tiene una playa preciosa. El unico inconveniente fue el aire acondicionado. Demasiado calor en la habitacion

Fint hotell med många service faciliteter. Havet inte det bästa men flera pooler med pool bar. Frukost med mycket att välja på. Rummet är bra men lite slitet, fungerande AC även om den är lite slö. Gott om parkering och bra utgångsläge för att ta sig till Kerkyra stad och övriga ön. Nära till Sky view för att se flygplanen lyfta.

Hôtel 5 étoile, qui vaut 3-4 et étoiles. Ménage mal fait, hammam soit disant n’existe, mais figure dans ka liste des service de l’hôtel. J’ai été très déçue et en plus, ils comptent les serviettes de piscine et m’ont failli m’énerver à mon départ, comme si j’avais volé les serviettes de la piscine. Pas digne d’un palace. Par contre, petit déjeuner parfait, vue sur la mer et piscine. Heureusement qu’ils ont ça! Personnel à l’accueil un peu hypocrite, l’ambiance nulle,r tout cas, je n’ai du tout apprécié l’atmosphère. A chaque fois que tu demande quelque chose, tu as l’impression de déranger. Je ne parle même pas de l’état des toilettes cassés et la salle de bain pas bien nettoyer et pas digne d’un 5 etoile.

This is an excellent hotel with ample parking, great facilities and a good breakfast. Pool and beach are excellent. Only thing to be mindful of is that there is little in the way of shops in the area and there is noise from the airport almost constantly.

Not worth the cash. Shower had hair in it. Old needeing renovation.

The room condition was awful, so we had to upgrade to a different room. They claimed the room had been cleaned, but I found hairs in the bathroom and the air conditioning was terrible. Additionally, the room didn't match the images they had posted online. The staff members we spoke to about changing rooms were unfriendly and unhelpful, despite us paying to switch rooms on-site. I definitely won't be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Rough check in. AC leaking, puddle of water from AC. AC leak was resolved had to call receptionist for housekeeping. Had to pushed them a little Discovered ants on the table beside the chairs. Approach front desk, accused us eating and not clean up when we just checkin. Again, took awhile for housekeeping

Väldigt slitet hotell. Definitivt inte femstjärnigt snarare tre! Dåliga rum ännu sämre frukost. Dålig städning. Inget miljötänk över huvud taget. Flygen hörs tydligt dygnet runt. Bo hellre i Korfu stad, väldigt mysigt o möjlighet till bad.

While the buffet was extensive much of the warm food was not kept to a suitable temperature. I wouldn’t recommend you stay here if you’re looking for a special treat as we were.

I booked a bungalow room at this hotel because it was the only beachfront option close to the city center. Unfortunately, I left after just one night due to an overwhelming odor in our “suite” that made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The room itself was old and run-down. While there were some attempts at updates—mainly in the bathroom—it was clear they had cut corners. The mix of old doors, outdated windows, and new flooring didn’t create the luxury feel they were going for. The bedding was also very dated; the faded yellow (now mustard-colored) blanket looked like it hadn’t been replaced since the 1970s. Our bungalow was situated at the bottom of a staircase, which felt more like being led into a dungeon than a relaxing seaside retreat. The breakfast was fine—your standard American continental—and the waitstaff was very kind. The view, to be fair, was beautiful. But for the price—$450 a night—I expected significantly more. We ended up leaving without asking for a refund and moving to the Domes Hotel, which was a huge upgrade and absolutely worth it for the same price. Needless to say, I won’t be staying here again. What a disappointment.

This hotel was overall nice. We visited in July 2023 so it may be refurbished now but in our experience the room was really outdated. Felt a little unclean and we had damp spots around the room. The view was nice from the main balcony, pool was nice but very crowded. The best part of our stay however was the receptionist Maria. She was so lovely and definitely made our stay better. She helped wherever she could and always had a smile on her face. She goes above and beyond for the visitors at the hotel and we hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

We stayed in the bungalows overlooking mouse island and they were very nice if you could ignore the air path . Hotel is a little tired but the private pools made up for that

A lovely hotel, staff are very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend a bungalow room. Very easy to get the bus into Corfu town. It is very close to the airport so there is a lot of aircraft noise but knew that before we booked.

Wir waren in einem Bungalow mit "Sharing Pool" mit sehr schöner Aussicht aufs Meer, Maus-Insel und Kloster, Zimmerservice meistens 2x täglich, Betten waren leicht durchgelegen, so dass wir 1 Decke daruntergelegt haben - damit war es gut. Bad mit separatem WC und bodenebener Dusche, allerdings könnte die Duschwand aus Glas 10-20cm grösser sein, damit es weniger herausspritzt, auch lief nach einigen Minuten unter der Duschwand etwas Wasser hindurch - hier sollte etwa mit Silikon neu abgedichtet werden. Safeschlüssel gibt es an der Rezeption gegen Kaution. WLAN war fast überall gut, Frühstück reichhaltig und gut. Wir waren mehrmals im Hotelrestaurant "La Veranda di Corfu" (nicht das Standardrestaurant "Eptanissa") zum Abendessen - schöne Aussicht aufs Meer, lecker, guter Service und trotzdem nicht zu teuer.

Probably the best hotel in Kanoni but at a price. Stayed on a b&b basis. Great breakfast selection. Hotel clean and tidy. Rooms clean and well presented. Air con in room appeared to suffer a little in the heat wave conditions even on the coldest settings. It was working but not as cold as would have liked during the night.

My stay at Corfu Holiday Palace was a letdown. The hotel's outdated infrastructure was evident in the poorly maintained rooms, with air conditioning that barely worked, electricity sockets hidden behind the bed, and worn-out towels and bath mats. The rooms didn't match the advertised photos, and when I asked to change rooms, I was told the hotel was full – despite their website showing availability. I definitely didn’t get a garden view yet a a view to the front of the hotel. The food by the pool was of bad quality with the prawn saganaki was frozen and smelling bad. Overall, the hotel's condition and service were extremely disappointing and bad value for money considering a €250 nightly rate.

We needed accomodation at short notice when feery was cancelled and found availability here. We arrived at normal check in within 1hour of booking. Check in was slow and receptionist was distracted by other guests during the procedure so we were made to wait. Room was acessible by steps (not expected or wanted) and was the first in a long (echo chanber) corridor off a noisy reception. We inspected the room which was small, had a ridiculous bathroom configuration ( sink overhanging and obstructing use of toilet), damaged toilet seat, ancient small flat screen tv with peeling plastic surround and small window overlooking a turning area right outside the hotel entrance. The hotel is near Corfu airport but having stayed in many airport hotels, this had not concerned me when booking as all other hotels had excellent sound proofing. Not the case here, where residents can hear every take off. We find when travelling that many hotels pride themselves on giving guests "best available" rooms on arrival. Not Corfu Holiday Palace! We felt they had offered worst available. Without unpacking, we immediately complained and asked for a different room. First they said none were available. Then they said they had to keep similar rooms for guests checking in later. Then we could upgrade to a suite or bungalow for double the price. Expedia had nor shown limited availability when we booked and there was also availability in other hotels close by. We said we woul move elsewhere and asked for a

Excellent service from Charles every morning, who brought mum's breakfast to the bungalow, always with politeness and a smile. Thanks to Naser who pushed mum to and from the main hotel area. Huge portions of breakfast at La Veranda, excellent value for money the buffet dinner at the Eptanissa. Fun at the kefi bar and affordable prices. Our bungalow with private pool and iconic views of Pontikonisi, a small paradise.

Breakfast provided a great choice from an extensive buffet, including a Prosecco bar! Only downside was some noise from the nearby airport, but overall a really great experience and good value for money.

#1- you all advertised an All inclusive package that we bought. When we got to the hotel that was far from the deal! I had to pay an extra large amount of $$ to obtain the All Inclusive deal! Unbelievable! #2- the hotel did not honor any deal that was bought and were not friendly about the situation- customer services at a all time low! #3- once we paid the full amount that was needed to make an all inclusive that’s when customer service changed and people were nice, so it’s best said that people are treated well based on the amount of money they spend! Never will return! Overall Corfu is extremely beautiful place worth spending to go on vacation! You have to find the right hotel!

Awful place. Hotel Failed to provide us with the accommodation we had booked and paid for and staff member on duty on our arrival virtually admitted we’d been expedia had sold us the superior bungalow too cheaply. In short they had sold our superior bungalow accommodation to someone else for more money and tried to fob us off with a greatly inferior standard double room saying we could and should not expect to be provided with the type of accommodation that we had booked and paid for! They stated they couldn’t offer us anything else as supposedly full and (even tho superior rooms were on offer on website) As we discovered, it was a dreadful place anyway suffering from thunderous noise most of the night from planes taking off and arriving at the airport which is extremely close to the hotel. Although it was distressing to spend one night in a substandard , old and worn room, the fact we were forced to find an alternative place to stay for the rest of our trip did us a huge favour, as we obtained a lovely far superior place in Corfu old town and received a refund from expedia for the remaining nights we didn’t spend st Corfu Holiday palace Given the stress and anxiety this hotel caused us they it was not fair that they extracted from us not payment for the first night we were forced to stay there but we were so desperate to get out of there we would have left even without a refund.

Great oool, large variety for breakfast and easy access into the city!

A lovely hotel, staff are very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend a bungalow room. Very easy to get the bus into Corfu town. It is very close to the airport so there is a lot of aircraft noise but knew that before we booked.

I felt the staff were less attentive this time - it was very busy, and when we came back for lunch poolside, they said they couldn't serve us any Greek salad as they had run out!?? Busy bustling breakfast so you need to go early to avoid the crowds. You also need to be patient at the beach to find seats/umbrellas - people are still taking the spaces but are not on the beach. We love the location and enjoyed going into Corfu Town in the evenings. Check your booking for fine print as we were not able to cancel one of our nights - you need to give a month's notice - flights were cancelled so we needed to leave early.

We had stay here for week with our family. It's awesome place . Really liked the beach and the sounding area. Breakfast had buffet dinner had lot of options. But we find it bit monotonous.
