Potamaki Beach Hotel

Had a disappointing experience overall. The biggest issue is the NOISE. Extremely loud all day long and even at night. You can hear voices coming from everywhere. On top of that, there’s a house next to the hotel with a dog that barks constantly, which made things even worse. The rooms feel quite old, and the furniture is outdated. The reality is far from the photos shown online. The breakfast is also quite modest, cheap quality, with very limited options. I ended up skipping it and eating elsewhere. Meanwhile the location is great, right next to the beach, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, and there are plenty of parking spots in front of the hotel. However, because of the noise, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel…

Stayed for 1 night on our way to Paxos. It was very convenient for bus stop. Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. Everything a bit dated but was a good price with free basic breakfast.

I recently stayed at Pokamaki Beach Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find that I had been given an amazing room with a stunning sea view. The scenery was breathtaking and truly added to the relaxation of my holiday. What made my stay even more special was the thoughtful gesture by the hotel staff who celebrated my birthday with a cake and candles, all without me having to ask. It was a lovely surprise and made me feel incredibly welcomed and appreciated. The atmosphere at Pokamaki Beach Hotel is warm and friendly, with staff who go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. The service was impeccable, and every interaction with the staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall, Pokamaki Beach Hotel is a fantastic place to stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by the sea. The combination of beautiful views, excellent service, and thoughtful gestures made my stay truly unforgettable.

Pros - room size, staff, close to transit making it easy to get downtown. Cons - very outdated, others traveling with us has several issues, the power/outlets were very weak. The hair dryer should not be listed as an amenity because it is so old it doesn’t work - I recommend bringing your own.
