Akrotiri Beach Resort & Spa - Adult Friendly

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and was clean. It only had instant coffee in the room and my husband was disappointed with that, but not a huge deal. Now the only real complaint was there was a sewer smell both inside the building and outside in the beach area. It came and went, so at least it wasn’t a constant. We never asked about it, but someone had mentioned that it is common. It didn’t ruin our stay, but worth noting as it is a bit off putting. The breakfast buffet was lovely. There was definitely something for everyone and if not, you are just too picky. We booked a private tour through the hotel, as it was most convenient for us. Katarina was our tour guide and to say she went above and beyond would be an understatement! She had places she wanted us to see and in doing so, went over her allotted time. You don’t find that very often. We loved the location of the hotel, as it was close to many restaurants and some shops too. Our stay was great and our time on Corfu was wonderful.

We were impressed with our lovely welcome package of a bottle of wine, a plate of cut fresh fruit and bottles of water. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice - Greek yoghurt, nuts, fruit, cereal, "full English" and a great variety of baked products - croissants, Danish pastries, cakes, sesame seed bars, tarts, cheese pie, spinach pie. I didn't appreciate having to pay for sun loungers on the beach - the hotel had places to sit on terraces, but the sun loungers on the beach were managed by the beach bars and you either had to pay to sit in the sun or spend a minimum of 20 euros at the bars. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows weren't - we each had two pillows - one too thick, hard and heavy; and the other too thin, soft and flimsy. Consequently I didn't sleep well. The shower worked well and there was a generous supply of towels, beach towels and toiletries. We chose not to eat dinner in the hotel (37 euros pp for a buffet) as we're inclined to eat too much from a buffet! There are a few bars and restaurants nearby where we just had a main course and a drink for dinner.

Amazing hotel very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful views from all around the hotel. Nice room but a little small we stayed in a bayside double ok for 1 night Both breakfast & dinner were amazing great choice! We went in October 2025 weather was nice and hot around 24 but the swimming pool was really cold!! Once in was nice & refreshing. Wouid defiantly stay again best bay in Corfu!

The hotel was beautiful and facilities lovely and enjoyable. There was plenty in the area to see and it was an easy drive to other areas and beautiful beaches.

Incredible views, staff were all wonderful and the breakfast buffet was fabulous!
