Took my wife for a weekend away for her birthday and stayed in one of the spa rooms. It was amazing. The spa bat has huge and having a personal sauna in the room was great. We took advantage of spa treatments which were so relaxing. Food and dining where great and staff were exceptionally nice and professional. Probably the best stay at a hotel I personally have ever had. We are already planning our return

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here in the Balnea spa suite. It was an amazing room with personal sauna and spa beds. The meal in the restaurant was the best we’d had in years. The place is beautiful abs we will definitely be back!

Not the easiest hotel to find if you are arriving when it's dark. My room was quite dated but clean and the bed was super comfortable. No bath but a decent shower. Breakfast was great. The staff were very attentive and the service quick. More choice on the buffet for Gluten free would of been nice.

Three nights stay - done a few now. Unfortunately, and not the hotels fault a particularly noisy neighbour this time around. Finally gave up trying to sleep at 3am and visited reception. I was given another room to get my head down for a few hours. Grateful for that - shame it happened due to some unruly guests.

We had a lovely time. The decor is so cool - attention to detail like with the instrument lamps in dining hall. Loved the room, lounge and dining hall. The field walking was so lovely. And that there were gluten free cornflakes. Slight disappointment was that I received an email asking me if I wanted to upgrade, which I replied to, but never received a reply.

This was the best Best Western we have stayed in. Although it was very busy with a couple of weddings and Birthday parties, there was plenty of staff on hand to make everything run smoothly. Tasty food in restaurant at dinner and breakfast, well appointed room with a comfy bed, my kind of place.

Lovely stay for Yorkshire Wild Live. Room exceeded expectations, it’s was massive with a large sofa, four poster bed and a large bathroom with shower and jetted bath. Everything in the whole hotel was spotless. The food was excellent each night and the staff were great. Can’t fault it at all. Would definitely stay again
