Stayed 1 night

We stayed here as a night stop over. It was perfect for that, with the owners going above and beyond to ensuring we got our breakfast early so we could get away early. The room was clean and well provided for with the usual towels, soap, shower gel, TV, hairdryer, kettle and teas and coffee. I would be happy to stay here again as a stopover. We arrived around 9pm and went for a nice walk around the town which seemed to have lots of interlinked paths through the streets and trees. The owners were lovely and chatty and I'd be happy to stay here again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

It was cheap and in a convenient location for me, and the staff were lovely. But the room was the most outdated I've seen, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the towels were dirty and stained.

The room was not in a great state and in need of some TLC. Although the location is quiet, the rooms are not due to other guests and creaking floorboards above. The beer was good and the food was good value for the money. Staff were very helpful and polite.
