As soon as we got into the parking lot the worker asked for money. He said that if we don’t pay him that he won’t guarantee the safety of the car. We went to check in and the reception said to give the guy in the parking lot the money he’s asking for. That it is better this way. We got to our room and there was a cockroach in the shower and a single pillow in the room with hair aall over the bed. Overall would not recommend staying here. It’s just a horrible experience. Thank god it was only one night.

Dated property but good for the price, all amenities as advertised. Well kept terrace and pool area. Breakfast buffet had sufficient choices, nothing fancy. Located next to train station with plenty of taxi availability. 5 minute taxi ride to the old medina. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Surrounding area a little gritty, but has some good low cost cafes.

The room was very noisy due to poor sound insulation from the window – you could hear a lot from outside. The bed was hard but okay, it worked. I was going to swim and asked for two towels – one for me and one for my dad – but they said they only had one left, and then they ran out of towels. The one I got felt a bit damp, like it might have already been used, which wasn’t very pleasant.

The reception staff especially Ahmed, were great and tried their best in English. The location of the IBIS was good, beside central station. The rooms were basic but comfortable, but by far the best things about the hotel were pool and gardens. However, the pool toilets and showers were filthy... I was not impressed by the food at the IBIS, infact, I went to Snack Brahim TIF AWIN most days. (out the Ibis door, turn to your left and straight across the road, orange building.) Would I stay again? Yes...

Hotel room was a twin room and was absolutely fine. Clean beds, floor, great location with train station and taxi stand. Pool area very relaxing. Plenty of food options for cheap nearby. Check in was simple. Decent price. Would be using it again in future for any trips to Fes. Only small issue would be nice to have few more sockets for electronics but not a big deal at all.

This hotel has 3 stars since it has a swimming pool, and large landscaped gardens. The gardens are well maintained, so it is unfortunate that the internal of the hotel is not maintained to same standard. The website advertises a front desk safe, but there is not one. A very unhelpful reception told us valuables would be OK left in room. Reception staff were indifferent to guests, no acknowledgement when passing through and talking to each other when dealing with any guest queries. No hand towels in the room, air con not reacting to thermostat adjustment, hot water in bathroom fluctuates when several guests using at same time. Breakfast reasonable continental, catering not quick to replenish. Hotel location is good, just by rail station, and 15 min walk to Hassan 2 avenue and walkable to the large shopping centre. Good eateries on the way and a food court in shopping centre. Hassan 2 avenue busy after dark, as it is a popular place of locals to mingle and socialise. Walkable to the souk and medina, GPS not accurate in the narrow 9000 alleyways and you can easily be in a parallel alleyway leading to a dead end. Beware scams in the souk especially fake guides who will want to show you the tanneries for free. We felt safe in and around the hotel and the souk. To conclude this hotel needs to improve the internal standards and facilities to fully justify a 3 star rating. Without the pool and garden, Ibis would be mid 2 star.

Hotel en decadencia en su estado general de conservación y limpieza. Todo absolutamente viejo y mal cuidado. He venido bastantes veces en los últimos años y en cada viaje se nota a mayores la dejadez absoluta de las instalaciones. Unicamente se salva la parte de la terraza exterior y piscina por el entorno creado.

Amazing hotel great service, I was able to check in early. Room was clean, swimming pool was great and refreshing during the summer heat. Walkable to the train station. A bit noisy by the street windows weren’t sealed. But I would recommend and will book again when visiting Fes. Thanks

This hotel was not highly rated. So, we didn't expect much. our main reason for booking this hotel was the location. it is right beside the FES train station and very convenient. it is a very dated property with a beautiful garden. our room was overlooking the garden Old property, with much needed renovation. Despite all, the room was passable and clean enough. Good breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for eight days. I had prepaid; otherwise, I would have left earlier. I had to change rooms three times. I planned to leave on a weekend, but the staff informed me that they were unable to process cancellations until Monday, forcing me to stay additional nights despite my discomfort. When I first checked in, I was not given the double bed with a balcony that I had booked. The second room had a strong paint smell. The third room finally matched my booking—a double bed with a balcony—but had a musty air conditioning smell. The main issue was the noise. The neighbors played loud music at 1:30 AM. The nearby train station, rather than being convenient, was disruptive due to frequent train horns sounding late into the night. The roads were extremely noisy as well. I had to attempt sleeping with earbuds and bulky noise-canceling headphones, yet I still couldn’t get more than four hours of rest per night. Adding to the disturbance, I could hear dogs fighting outside at midnight, further contributing to the already overwhelming noise levels. I had a second booking for additional guests but decided to cancel it and switch to an Airbnb. Need resurface bathroom n aircon is not working property when we were given a room, i complain to the front desk regarding the aircon and just lies that the temperature are all the same setting it was hot, all around the hotel i called the following day n talk to different front desk person n he had someone chks it and he change our room n it a good air-conditioning 👍 i use Ibis in UK, ibis Tangier and now in Fez

De bedden lagen echt top, deze waren volgens mij vrij nieuw. Verder wat kleine kamers, maar prima voor een paar dagen. Mooi zwembad. En jammer dat de helft van de menu kaart er niet was/is. Geen voorgerechten en toetjes en heel beperkt eten.

Upon arrival, we requested a mini fridge for my mother, who requires proper storage for her medications to maintain their effectiveness. To our disappointment, the hotel was unable to provide this basic and essential accommodation. Despite explaining the importance of this request due to medical reasons, the response we received from the staff was not only unhelpful but also unprofessional and rude. Their attitude was dismissive, and the service felt cheap and careless. Given the seriousness of the situation and the lack of empathy and support from the hotel staff, we were left with no choice but to check out early and urgently find alternative accommodation at a nearby hotel that was able to meet our needs. This experience was distressing, unacceptable, and not at all reflective of the standards one should expect from a reputed hotel chain. I will not be recommending Ibis Hotel to anyone in the future, and I hope this feedback prompts serious reflection and improvement in your customer service and medical accommodation policies.

Im very sad about this Hotel the people that work there are very unfriendly and dont welcome you there 😢 . Especially the one Female at the Desk when we arrived was very arrogant and didnt was friendly at all i will not come back to this Hotel ever again !!!!

I arrived late at night trains were delayed. On arrival the system was down but every care was taken to accommodate me whilst they got things back up and running. Suhur was only served until 2 am and no hot drinks but reception staff could see how tired I was and made arrangements for suhur to be served at 3am with hot morrocan tea. It the little things that set apart great customer service. I was really happy and amazed at the service that an offered. .

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating one-night stay at I bis Fes, and I would strongly advise against booking this hotel. Despite having a prepaid reservation online, the hotel reception insisted that no payment had been made and demanded full payment again at check-in. I showed them my payment confirmation along with the deducted amount from my bank, yet they continued to treat me like I was trying to cheat them — making me feel like a low-level tourist who couldn’t afford to pay. Completely unprofessional behavior. Unfortunately, the nightmare didn’t stop there. The air conditioner didn’t cool at all — it just blew warm air, and with Morocco’s heat at this time of year, the room was unbearable. I complained three times, went back and forth with the reception, and after over an hour, they finally sent a maintenance person who didn’t speak English. He simply checked the unit and said, “It’s working” — apparently, blowing air equals working AC in their standards. No attempt was made to fix the issue or offer a different room. To top it off, the room itself was a disaster — no towels, no tissue box, no water bottles provided. The room was so small I could barely move around. This was a pathetic and frustrating experience from start to finish. I will never book an I bis hotel again and urge others to avoid this location entirely.

The reception staff especially Ahmed, were great and tried their best in English. The location of the IBIS was good, beside central station. The rooms were basic but comfortable, but by far the best things about the hotel were pool and gardens. However, the pool toilets and showers were filthy... I was not impressed by the food at the IBIS, infact, I went to Snack Brahim TIF AWIN most days. (out the Ibis door, turn to your left and straight across the road, orange building.) Hotel room was a twin room and was absolutely fine. Clean beds, floor, great location with train station and taxi stand. Pool area very relaxing. Plenty of food options for cheap nearby. Check in was simple. Decent price. Would be using it again in future for any trips to Fes. Only small issue would be nice to have few more sockets for electronics but not a big deal at all.

This hotel has 3 stars since it has a swimming pool, and large landscaped gardens. The gardens are well maintained, so it is unfortunate that the internal of the hotel is not maintained to same standard. The website advertises a front desk safe, but there is not one. A very unhelpful reception told us valuables would be OK left in room. Reception staff were indifferent to guests, no acknowledgement when passing through and talking to each other when dealing with any guest queries. No hand towels in the room, air con not reacting to thermostat adjustment, hot water in bathroom fluctuates when several guests using at same time. Breakfast reasonable continental, catering not quick to replenish. Hotel location is good, just by rail station, and 15 min walk to Hassan 2 avenue and walkable to the large shopping centre. Good eateries on the way and a food court in shopping centre. Hassan 2 avenue busy after dark, as it is a popular place of locals to mingle and socialise. Walkable to the souk and medina, GPS not accurate in the narrow 9000 alleyways and you can easily be in a parallel alleyway leading to a dead end. Beware scams in the souk especially fake guides who will want to show you the tanneries for free. We felt safe in and around the hotel and the souk. To conclude this hotel needs to improve the internal standards and facilities to fully justify a 3 star rating. Without the pool and garden, Ibis would be mid 2 star.

De bedden lagen echt top, deze waren volgens mij vrij nieuw. Verder wat kleine kamers, maar prima voor een paar dagen. Mooi zwembad. En jammer dat de helft van de menu kaart er niet was/is. Geen voorgerechten en toetjes en heel beperkt eten.
