Lismoyne Hotel

The building is very old, with the original rooms quite tired looking. There's no lift and the walk upstairs to the top level was heavy going. The newer part of the hotel is fine, the staff are very nice, the bar area is pleasant and the food is good. Not expensive, so overall good value.

No hot water in the room. Did report to reception & they offered a room change. Also charged me £5 overnight parking when the booking details said parking was free

Lovely old building very well maintained. Short walk to Fleet Main Street. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Free easy parking was a great bonus . Lovely Bar with great atmosphere and great food. Would happily stay here again.

Nice Hotel,with plenty of Parking(Charged) large room with all the amenities.Good for the price charged. Did have Breakfast on my last day,but not impressed.Bacon and eggs swimming in grease/fat.Just are the mushrooms.Not worth £15.

Delightful, secluded property with plenty of parking (cost £5 per night) and a restaurant and bar onsite. The room was very large and functional and the bed comfortable.

When we arrived my husband could not climb the stairs and no lift in the hotel so we were quickly offered a downstairs suite which was a nice size and the bed was so comfortable which was a big thing for us. The receptionist was a very friendly person with a great attitude and very approachable The only niggles we had was not having bedside lamps and no coasters to put our hot drinks in as did not want to mark the furniture. But not a major problem. This is an old hotel with character and worth a stay

A nice hotel with pretty grounds and a decent outdoor dining / garden area. Some parts of the hotel are starting to look tired and dated with the rooms in particular having aesthetic issues such as small tears in wall paper, rawl plugs on show from where furniture has moved. The biggest issue was that the sound really travelled between rooms with a particularly noisy neighbour making a phone call at 5am and I could hear every word. I liked the hotel overall and the food was very good and excellent value. I would stay again as it was excellent value.

We had 6 rooms for a business trip. All were clean and tidy, large and nicey furnished. Staff were friendly and efficient, parking was easy (althoigh had to be paid for). Very quiet, and we all slept very well. The only negative I could say was that the cocktails we ordered were awful - but we'd all definitely stay again.

Desk chair lighting and space all in good condition .Room clean and comfortable .Plenty of sockets for PC ,mobile charger.

Overall a disappointing stay. 1st room we had was a little unclean . 2nd room had a broken shower head bracket. We reported it twice, then a maintenance staff cam in to replace it

Stayed here a few times over the years, but the disappointment came with the poor quality mattress. Room 5 which is a nice room has a very soft mattress which gave no support. The staff as usual were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean though the bathroom could do with having a tidy. Grey masking tape and messy plastic plumbing can easily be seen.

I like the location and the character of the hotel. Staff are friendly and hotel is clean and cosy. Parking is good and there is plenty of it. Bed comfy and breakfast delicious and cooked to order.

Spacious room. No Air Conditioning. Dining area/breakfast area smells were coming into my room. Nice relaxed atmosphere and a nice setting. I liked the vibe coming from this place, it was very relaxing. When the weather gets hot though, the rooms are very uncomfortable so that is the only reason why I wouldn’t stay here in high summer. Everything else is really great.

I had booked an executive room but it was anything but. The room was large but stark with little furniture one central light no lamps. The headboard/bed surround was large and wooden and contributed to the austere feeling and housed a pathetically dim bedside light. The windows had heavy net curtains and couldnt be opened. Couldnt stand up properly at the sink in the bathroom due to the slanting roof. The room is not somewhere you want to spend any time in. Restaurant was closed so had something to eat in the cold, unwelcoming conservatory. Food was poor. £18 for a lamb dish that had missing ingredients. Breakfast was so-so. Wouldnt stay here again.

Was in a room right up the top of building, very hot and a long climb , unfortunately I am recovering from hip surgery and I did struggle .

Lismoyne Hotel is not a 5 star hotel but it is in a class of its own. Situated in a quiet, serene and neat environment, the hotel gives a very good attraction to lodgers. The waiters and waitresses that attended to us during our two nights stay were humble, approachable and dutiful and the food was delicious. The problem with this hotel that may not allow us patronise it next time are the radiators in the 4 double rooms booked by my group. Turned to the highest level, they were so lukewarm that we had to suffer cold during our stay. The worst of it was the attitude of a lady at the front desk whom I complained to but did nothing to help. Her attitude was cold. If radiators in 4 rooms did not work well, I wonder what the situation in others will be. My consolation is that the experience was not in the winter. If the hotel management will rectify the heating problems and call some of the front desk crew to order, the hotel will be the toast of future lodgers.

Receptionist was very helpful however it turned out I coukd have booked the room cheaper by going direct. The room was very cold, took 6 hrs to get up to an acceptable temp after turning heating up. The bathroom was even colder with only a small heated towel rail. To make it worse it had ceramic tiles which were so cold they made your feet hurt if in there for a few minutes. Food was good, however incredibly slow tryi g to get drinks from the bar. Gave up twice.

Nice hotel for the price and staff were very friendly. Room next to the stairs wasn’t ideal as it sounded like the England rugby team were leaving at 6am

Excellent staff...I had an issue with the key for my room getting stuck in the lock.The problem was sorted out swiftly.The shower head was also a little loose.Other than these faults,my stay was a positive experience

Staff are friendly, helpful and professional, especially the receptionists. It's tucked away just far enough from Fleet centre to be peaceful and quiet, yet close enough (10min walk from the high street) to take advantage of the restaurants and shops. My only gripe (which doesn't detract from the stay at all) was that there were no UK mains sockets by the bed. Just the old-style round plug sockets for lights.

I was ignored at check-in by 2 members of the team who clearly worked there but chose not to try and find someone to check me in. I then rang the bell and some one came out but she took a while to get me set up. She had to make a call and have someone physically come down to confirm if the room was ready. Seemed very backward. However the rest of the stay was pleasant nothing to complain about nothing to shout about. A very basic experience.

Good sized car park, easy to find. Located within walking distance of town. Excellent size room, clean and good value for money. Staff welcoming and freindly.

Very family leaded hotel, nice staff, everybody helpful, especially the Night Shift "Derrick" very sweet helping man, when we came in late and needed to charge our devices, he was helpful to find us fitting chargers. He even spoke a little bit of German :), the only thing I would rate negative in this tiny typical English jewel hotel is that they gave us a room facing the kitchen extractor hood, while having lost of rooms still available, but that is not important in the end, when one feels welcome generally on such a short weekend stay. Beautiful old tree in front of the hotel, parking perfect, in room facilities great. The 2 ladies at the reception were friendly and very professional as well, and we were served nice drinks one evening sitting in the known Bar 86. I can only recommend this Hotel, when one wants to stay close to the city center of Fleet, but still surrounded by green and calm environment.

This hotel was a lovely place to stay. Tucked away in a quiet location within its own grounds, yet close to the centre of Fleet. There was a warm, cosy atmosphere and the staff were very helpful. Both the bar menu and the restaurant menu were good value, nicely presented and very tasty. Our room was equipped with all the necessary supplies and the bed was very comfortable. The only slight disappointment was that we could hear snoring from the neighbouring room. However that did not disturb us unduly. We would definitely recommend this establishment.

Mediocre . Bed not a double but 2 singles put together Shower over bath not the best temperature varied & not a lot of power Tea & coffee topped up but no sugar? Breakfast on second day was a bit of a surprise as no juice,toast,cereal, pastries just a sorry not very busy so room service only ?
