Although I received no VIP benefit, the property and room were great. There was plenty of room for our family of five to spread out and we had a great view of Big Ben and The London Eye. The only complaint is that there is only one elevator that goes to floors 13-15 and sometimes it can take a long time to get it show up. I would highly recommend staying her on a trip to London.

Large property right off Westminster Bridge near the River Thames and "Big Ben". There is a pool BUT YOU MUST RESERVE a 30 minute window to use. Super disappointed as this was literally the only reason this hotel was chosen and not another location. Dark interior. Breakfast is extra. A small sushi restaurant is located inside. Large lobby area.

Very nice hotel in a very convenient location; I stayed as a treat with my eight-year-old son and he absolutely loved it. The pool is quite small and requires pre-booking - something I had not seen before at a hotel.

The hotel was great. However. I would not recommend staying here if you are traveling with children. You can only use the pool when you have an appointment, which was disappointing. The highlight of London wasn’t the pool, but we had to schedule our days around the pool time we scheduled. I also saw a few instances where families were turned away because they didn’t have a scheduled swim time, but the pool was not full. A pool is always a bonus when traveling with kids, so I would not stay here again. I want to be able to use the pool when we have down time, not schedule my vacation around it.

The staff we encountered were rude. We had to call reception to get soap put in our room as the dispenser wasn’t checked. The leather sofa that was a pull out bed was dirty. The beds stunk, smelt like the bedding had been washed in cooking oil or with kitchen tea towels. The pillows were lumpy. We had to pay £9.45 for two glass bottles of water? Not sure how 2 bottles even came to this. We would have expected a coffee machine in the room for that price, not instant coffee sachets. Bedrooms were dated.

The property itself is beautiful, felt very spacious and glamorous, very comfy clean bed with white sheets as I like it, comfy pillows. Around the property is superb, in the best location possible, we always felt safe, red bus tour stop is literally across the street from the hotel which was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and polite, also loved that some of them spoke Spanish. Loved the little cafe in the downstairs lobby, they had great coffee, pastries, prepared sandwiches etc. the hotel buffet breakfast was a great choice, it cost 25 British pounds per person, which I thought was a bit much until I compared the price with other horrible breakfast elsewhere. Transportation from this location or any other location in London I found to be very accesible. Only things I thought could be a bit better were the following: we rented a few rooms, since there with family and the windows in our rooms looked into a food lounge area where I felt like O was being watched, don’t know if it’s possible for them to see in as clearly as I could see out the window. I kept my curtains closed the entire time just in case, this wasn’t ideal because it made me feel enclosed and the rooms felt dark. Also the cleanliness wasn’t up to par, carpets in our floor were dark red but I could still see spots and marks also didn’t smell as fresh as it should in the rooms and corridors or smelled a bit moldy. I could also see some moldy spots on the bathroom wallpaper near the exit door.

Overall our stay was great, walkable to metro stations, located close to Big Ben. Staff and service was great as well. Would just give it 4 stars for cleanliness, the rooms were a bit dusty and we saw silverfish in our bathroom one of the nights.

The hotel is located near many tourist sights. The hotel is very dark inside. Decor throughout is red and black. room has no widows to the out side.which t was not stated when booking the room. Also no seating areas outside and only seating area inside was in bar or restaurants. Staff is matter of fact but not warm and friendly. We opted for only having room cleaned once w specific request of Tuesday as we were in Paris all day. On our late return room was not cleaned and no towels and shampoo empty. I would not stay here again

Really annoyed initially. I arrived early and requested to store my luggage which was easily done. I checked in and they promised to text me when my room was available. This text never came so I returned at 3pm. On arrival I was informed my room was not ready, which I was annoyed about but the polite reception staff gave me an upgrade which I appreciated until I got to my room. On entering the sofa bed was down and “not clean” and the carpets were dirty. The bathroom was clean but there was “stains” In the toilet and the table underneath the tv had not been cleaned. I was disappointed but by this point I was just going to get on with it. Second time at this hotel and frustrating considering how highly I rated it the first time.

The hot water in the shower takes long time to warm up. We expected a room with a view, but the room assigned to us was 558 which had a view of the beside building. Paying $420 per night was not worth it. There was a distinct mold like smell inside the room.

I usually stay at the park plaza county hall but thought I would give Westminster bridge a try. I was not as impressed as I am with county hall. The rooms are very similar but at this hotel the cleanliness was not great. There was a lot of hair in the bath and on the bathroom floor from previous guests. The wall had brown marks on. County hall provides guests with water bottles and some soda as a courtesy but Westminster bridge did not offer any extras like that. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is very good, there is a good selection to choose from. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The good: hotel minutes from Westminster and Thames waterside with excellent service in restaurant and breakfast area, comfortable rooms, has (busy) sauna/pool The bad: Check in: I was "upgraded" to the worst atrium room (smallest possible, side window, deep in atrium with almost no daylight), when I complained next day the senior guy inn fairness sorted it straight away, gave good room, sadly it took 2 days and 3 reminders to housekeeping to clean kitchenette sink dirty from previous guests, and same to put hand soap and refill shower gels. Once off faults are ok but here the problem is systematic - quality controls and governance. Nevertheless It is nice hotel, just its too big and the management needs to improve.

I had booked a king bed in a superior room but I was given a twin bed room. I was on my own so this was not a huge problem but not what I booked. The TV frequently stopped working and the WiFi was intermittent. It wasn’t possible to get through to anyone on the phone from the room. In the morning a male engineer came into my room at 7.20am with a key while I was asleep. He apologised saying that he thought the room was empty. Then at 7.30am housekeeping let themselves in again saying that they thought the room was empty. My digital key was deactivated at 9am without me checking out. The reception staff were polite when I raised them problems with them but all that could be said was that they were sorry.

my previous review re related stay has relevant info. Great location, its good hotel and many staff do great job but few things need improvement. A.add sockets at both sides of bed. At present (at same was years ago) no sockets for charging of phone/laptop at bedside tables, only at work desk away from bed. B.Improve consistency of cleaning C.The "superior room" is in fact their basic room. They are comfortable but be aware the hotel has three typers of rooms re light: ones with windows to outside, then rooms within atrium (triangle shaped with tip the deepest) where rooms in front have better light and rooms in deepest area are "lemons" with small floor area and almost no dailight. Its terrible they don't make this clear to customers.

It’s ideal for families. We had a studio king room- the sofa bed is separated by the bathroom and has its own tv so ideal for our 6 year old. A travel cot was provided for our baby, the room also has a small kitchenette with fridge (perfect size for baby bottles), microwave to sterilise and seperate sink/ kettle. The hotel also has a great pool, black out blinds- a shower & bath and the King sized bed is so comfortable!

Room was lovely, one of the best we have stayed in, in London and we visit London a lot at weekends. Only thing I can complain about is the pillow. Wasn’t consistent with the other pillows on the bed and was very lumpy.

Do not stay here if you need things to be plugged in, their outlets don’t work. We had no working outlets in our room upon arrival, we couldn’t charge our phones or plug in a curling iron or a flat iron. We called the front office and the guy told us he would send someone to fix the problem and then he never did. Eventually we walked to the front desk after realizing he wasn’t sending anyone and someone fixed it a couple hours later. The staff isnt helpful, I would not stay here again.

We had a very disappointing stay. Check-in was slow, even though we arrived early, paid, and checked in, our room wasn’t ready until 4pm. When we finally got in, the room was dark and depressing with an atrium view. We ended up paying extra to upgrade just to feel comfortable. The main issue, however, was with payments. The hotel manually processed a second payment for our stay the day after check-in. It took around 30 minutes and a manager’s intervention to have this released back to me. Then, on the day we checked out, yet another unauthorised payment (for a different amount) was taken from my account. This wasn’t refunded for two days, and despite several attempts to contact the hotel, I’ve still had no explanation or follow-up. Overall, a stressful experience that completely overshadowed our stay. Definitely not what you’d expect from a professional hotel

The most memorable part of our trip was check in when they told us that we had two reservations both checking in the same day and both booked through Expedia. One reservation was for four days. The other one was five. We were initially referred to Expedia. We spent four hours working with Expediaand hotels.com to figure out what was going on.Expedia found only one reservation. Ultimately A determined manager by the name of Abdul was able to get on the Expedia extranet and see that one of the reservations had in fact been canceled. There was one other interaction with a hotel that was not good. While Customer Service at the front desk and at the front door were excellent. We had occasion to stop by the concierge‘s desk, our first night there. The man at the concierge desk sometime after 9 PM and perhaps as late as 10:30 PM could not have been less hospitable. Other than that our stay was great. Our room was fabulous.

A wonderful place to stay. Loved everything about this hotel. Great location, great staff and great food. Alan was the best. He took care of everything for us. Tickets to everything and ordered all our cars. He was fabulous and the hotel is very lucky to have him as a concierge.

I did not like that our room was not cleaned everyday. We had no toilet paper. I was calling the front desk and no one answered. Your housekeeping is horrible. The garbage was not cleaned up. It was terribly service. You really do not care about repeat guests. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Location was great but we spent hours trying to get a refund on the breakfast we prepaid for that was terrible and very expensive. It is still not sorted out. The hotel staff was not answering the phones and hanging up on expedia people that were trying to help us, even when were sitting at guest setvices trying to get to a solution. Also, as soon as we were checking in, the clerk was trying to get us to upgrade to a more expensive room amd said she could do a better deal if we weren't staying for so many nights...how do that make sense? We should've been upgraded because we were staying for so long. Overall experience was very disappointing and we will never stay there again.

We stayed for a week and really appreciated the location, the staff, the walk ability to two underground stations as well as attractions like Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Parliament Buildings, the Eye, etc. We opted to only have cleaning service every other day and that was spotty, but not a big deal. Hot breakfast, cafe, bar on site is nice. Overall great stay!

Hotel is convenient to several sites, such as: Big Ben, Parliament, Westminister Abby, London Eye, and a healthy walk to Buckingham Palace and St. James' Palace. Transportation is easily accessible, buses stop across street from hotel while underground Westminister is two blocks away. The hotel has many amenities: pool, spa, restaurant and cocktail lounge. The staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge can help book excursions. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The hotel is located in a very busy area, lots of vehicles and foot traffic, but we rarely heard any of it. The Illey Café on ground level offers enough breakfast options to start day, items are reasonably priced, or you can have buffet breakfast at restaurant for 35£ per person. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel, I would stay there again.
