Expedia listed the room as having a full kitchen. It had nothing other than an electric kettle. The elevator was broken. My wife, with a fractured back was forced to walk up 4 flights of steps into her room. After being told we booked a room with a kitchen, the manager said it wasn’t his problem. Expedia needs to address any complaint or refund. I asked got at least a bowl and some cutlery (they have a restaurant for breakfast) he said no. Not possible.

We got the top apartment and it was very spacious and beautiful. The only complain about it was the old and smelly water in the kettle and the spiders and webs in the corners of the room. Another major down for this property is the lack of parking spots. There are only five which you have to sign up for in advance.

Das Zimmer lag ruhig zum Innenhof. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Lage, um touristische Ziele zu erreichen, wie Palmengarten, Senckenbergmuseum, Paulskirche und Römer, ist bestens. Das einzige Problem ist das Parken, da vor dem Hotel nur 5 Parkplätze zur Verfügung stehen, die natürlich schnell belegt sind.

24 hour front desk was great. Reception was friendly and helpful. The parking situation at this hotel is HORRIBLE - they have 4 available for the whole hotel and the streets around are all zero parking. So you have to walk to the closest parking garage at Palmgarten Park Haus which is only 4 euros but closes at midnight.

We stayed only for one night in Superior Double room which was very spacious and nicely furnished. The Hotel is located on a relatively busy street, but the modern windows mute most of the traffic noise. In walking distance of the botanical garden, Subway Station (U-Bahn) is just 200 meters away, popular shopping area within 10 minute walk. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage is the limited parking with only 6 parking spots in front of the Hotel. They suggest using the parking garage of the Botanical garden which is several blocks and 5 min walk away with 24/7 access. The night charge is €4 and in the daytime €1 per hour. Drop off your bags and drive to the garage. I didn’t want to do so and parked in a street just around the corner where you are allowed limited parking between 7-10. I was fined €25 at 10:07.

Var på genomresa mot Italien och stannade en natt i Frankfurt. Hotellet hade ett bra läge, men det låg precis vid vägkanten så det var lite osmidigt att stanna till vid hotellet med bil då det inte fanns gästparkeringar utanför. Men det fanns tillfälliga platser för avlastning. Men själva parkering (som var en rekommendation och inte hanterades av hotellet) fick man åka en bit bort som tog 10 min att gå till och från. Fina och stora rum med AC, fräscha badrum och rent och städat. The room was very clean and the hotel was situated in a very quiet neighborhood that was in walking distance to the Old Town, as well as Messe Frankfurt. The hotel is a bit dated, but that doesn’t take away from this being a really great option. This is my second stay in Frankfurt, and I’d come back to this hotel again should I return.

An sich war das Zimmer sehr schön und sauber aber doch nicht ganz richtig sauber. Unter dem Bettlaken lagen noch Haare von Vorgänger. Die eine Wasser Flasche war noch angebrochen auch von Vorgänger.

The hotel has only 5 parking spots, in front of the hotel. We had booked a hotel room for one night & parking spot for the duration of our stay - which was very important to us to have. We had our parking spot when we checked in and left after a short rest in our room (which by the way, had dust bunnies on the wall...). But when we arrived back late around 11pm all parking spots were occupied and we got told "sorry there was a mistake caused by overbooking, try to find a parking spot in the streets nearby". We ended up parking at another hotel 15 minutes away (by foot) where we had to pay 39 Euro for our safe parking spot. Since we had to park our car at another hotel we will definitely book another hotel next time.

Mein Zimmer war leider nicht besonders gut geputzt. Es war nicht eklig aber könnte eine gründlichere Reinigung vertragen. Das Zimmer war groß und das Bett bequem. Hat also gepasst.

Hotel hat mir sehr gefallen. Freundliches Personal, tolles Zimmer, alles sehr sauber, super Bett, tolle Dusche. Frühstück sehr gut. U-Bahn in unmittelbarer Nähe, Hauptbahnhof ist aber auch ohne weiteres zu Fuß erreichbar.

Our stay at the Palmenhof was excellent. Clean and Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Excellent location. Lovely surroundings (Westend). Walkable to the U Bahn stations and to Fressgasse etc. Excellent value for money. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is amazing, I absolutely loved my room and all the vintage furniture. Location is perfect because its close to the subway station and there are many restaurants nearby. I had a very nice stay in Palmenhof Hotel in Frankfurt so I would definitely recommend it!

Location was decent, but room was old and ceiling paint in room was falling apart. Beds not very comfortable. Not worth the price we paid in my opinion, as there was a book convention during our time there so prices we raised due to that.

Hotel is very nice, a/c was wonderful. Room at two balconies which were great to sit on. The bathroom sink however, was barely anchored to the wall which we notified the front desk about. The are a lot of slanted ceilings in both bedrooms my husband is 6’3” so was a bit of a hazard for him.

I really enjoyed staying in the apartment at the Plamenhof. It had been hard finding accommodations with beds for 3 people Frankfurt. The hotel is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and convenient to public transportation. The living space of the apartment was great and spacious. But of the two double doors opening out to balconies, one was covered by a metal exterior shade that was broken in the closed position. Also, I hadn't realized that the apartment was built into the attic space of the building. While this resulted in very tall vaulted ceilings in the living area, it made for cramped space in the 2 bedrooms and bathroom with the ceiling sloping down to half a meter at the outer wall. As soon as you were in the room, you had to start watching your head. There were openings to windows or skylights, but the cramped space made it hard to include common things like dressers, closets, and even towel bars.

Hotel was clean, in a good part of town, convenient to public transportation. Breakfast was good. There was a problem with the shower head in my room, which reported but never fixed. I could still use the shower but the head kept falling down. Front desk was ok but not particular friendly or helpful. I had a good stay but there were a few things that kept it from being excellent.

The property is clean but a bit outdated and in need of a fresh coat of paint. We also checked with staff three times that someone was always at the desk because we had to checkout around 5:15 in order to get to our ICE train on time. We were assured someone would be there but when we arrived there was only a note saying they would be right back. We waited 15 min but had to leave to catch our train. We left a note and the keys behind the sign so only the desk staff could see it and since we pre-paid with Expedia there didn’t seem to be any issue with this. Otherwise it was a comfortable bed if that’s all you need. We were told about a breakfast but while in town we just woke up early and grabbed something in the square or by the gardens.

We had a great stay at Hotel Palmenhof. The location is perfect and the rooms are very comfortable and a good size. The price I more than reasonable for what is provided. We want to mention Mr. Mogeed Marco specifically as he provided us with exceptional customer service.

The room was very clean and the hotel was situated in a very quiet neighborhood that was in walking distance to the Old Town, as well as Messe Frankfurt. The hotel is a bit dated, but that doesn’t take away from this being a really great option. This is my second stay in Frankfurt, and I’d come back to this hotel again should I return.

Our stay at the Palmenhof was excellent. Clean and Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Excellent location. Lovely surroundings (Westend). Walkable to the U Bahn stations and to Fressgasse etc. Excellent value for money. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again!

We stayed only for one night in Superior Double room which was very spacious and nicely furnished. The Hotel is located on a relatively busy street, but the modern windows mute most of the traffic noise. In walking distance of the botanical garden, Subway Station (U-Bahn) is just 200 meters away, popular shopping area within 10 minute walk. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage is the limited parking with only 6 parking spots in front of the Hotel. They suggest using the parking garage of the Botanical garden which is several blocks and 5 min walk away with 24/7 access. The night charge is €4 and in the daytime €1 per hour. Drop off your bags and drive to the garage. I didn’t want to do so and parked in a street just around the corner where you are allowed limited parking between 7-10. I was fined €25 at 10:07.

Hotel hat mir sehr gefallen. Freundliches Personal, tolles Zimmer, alles sehr sauber, super Bett, tolle Dusche. Frühstück sehr gut. U-Bahn in unmittelbarer Nähe, Hauptbahnhof ist aber auch ohne weiteres zu Fuß erreichbar.

Kritik am Frühstück: exzellent Auswahl aber Marmeladenspender funktionieren nicht, Lachs/Fisch und Wurst sehen nicht mehr frisch aus (aufgeschnitten im Kühlschrank über Nacht?), gekochte Eier sind wässrig.
