Very friendly receptionist. Make my day after a tiring day of travelling. I stayed in single room. Room size adequate. bed is comfortable. Nice to have coffee tea and water at the lobby. The only thing to get use to is the lift button that does not light up. 😂 Very please with the hotel. Now I will keep a look out of chamade chain of hotels in my next booking.

I would definitely recommend this hotel! The reception team was extremely responsive and helpful. The Japandi-style room felt welcoming and was spotlessly clean. It was a nice touch to have both conditioner and body lotion provided. Parking was easy—right in front of the hotel for €1.80 per hour until 7 PM (free afterward, as next day was Sunday). The city center was a pleasant 30-minute walk along the water. Even at night, the area felt safe to walk around.

Over het algemeen zijn we zeer tevreden over het hotel. Eén punt van aandacht betreft de parkeergarage. Die is erg klein. Je moet in de parkeergarage keren en daar is nauwelijks ruimte voor. Een auto ter grootte van een Audi Q5 is het maximaal haalbare. Voor een auto met die afmetingen is het al erg lastig. Wil je bijvoorbeeld tussen de pilaren parkeren, dan moet je de spiegels inklappen.

The hotel was lovely and clean, it was very well located close to the train station. Facilities fairly basic (no pool etc) but for somewhere to stay that’s great at the basics, this is the one. One things to note - guests can get free tea & coffee from the area next to reception (we weren’t aware of this until the last day but it was certainly well appreciated once we did know).

Property is under construction, but they kept it quiet during the evening. Only issue we had was the trolley station in front of the hotel was closed during our stay, but the receptionist helped with directions and where the next trolley station was located. Not too far from the hotel and main train station. Great stay

The Hotel was very clean and staff was always helpful. The garage was closed but it was easy to park on the street, however it was not that cheap, but the hotel informed us upfront so that was fair. It's a 20-30 min walk to the historic center. Many restaurants are close by. The hotel is very close to the train station. We had a room facing the street but could not hear the traffic noise. The price-performance ratio is excellent.

sewage smell in the room, has to cover the toilet and keep washroom door closed at all time. Noisy, you can hear people going up & down the stairs, clearly hear what they were saying in your room. Location is excellent. Tram station outside the hotel. Will take you to all attractions in downtown. Staff are very nice, helpful and pleasant. Room was very cold (April) and they found me a heater somewhere else.

The trum wasn't working so it was very quiet. The location is near the train station, but it takes about 30-40 min walk to the old town. Or need to take trum from train station with EUR 3 for single ticket/6 for round ticket/9 for day ticket. Very few place for food nearby. The room was nice and clean. We had problem with the drain in shower, but second day we met the cleaning person, she solved the problem although she couldn't understand English. The cleaning wasn't standard though. Two nights the bed looked different, toilette paper looked different, the previous person left some tea on the small bedside table was still there. But overall was nice and clean. There were tea bags and coffees in the room and refilled on the second day. You could also use the coffee machine in the lobby and get different tea there. (For free) Staff was nice, but it was a bit confusing because they could charge the city tax when you check out. (I asked, so I paid when check in)

Only criticism, the air conditioning was not working - we were told just on the 6th floor. It 25 degrees whilst we were staying. We were offered and accepted an electric fan, and advised to keep the windows open. Not ideal as the street was noisy late at night and early morning.

location is top, short walk from the gent st. pieters station. within half an hour in the city center. local food shops nearby. clean room, clean hotel. the only issue the room isnt soundproof. you could hear the lift and every door in the hallway, steps from above as well. but all in all i would come back again in the future

We quite enjoyed our stay at the Chamade Hotel. We were doing a lot of day trips via rail so we really appreciated the proximity to the train station. The room was ample in size, the mattress firm, and the fan in the room helped diffuse the heat.

Lovely hotel, clean, well presented and comfy beds. Decent sized room with great walk in shower. Tea/coffee making facilities (though cups were a bit small). Located near the station and walkable into Ghent (or get a tram nearby). Staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

Great location, very close to the Sint-Pieters train station. Room was very comfortable and spatious. Staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, best croissants I had during my whole trip, including France. Really enjoyed my stay, would book again!

Very modern. Our room had a closet, comfortable beds, good lighting, and a desk, with large windows overlooking a quiet street. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and bacon. Shower floor can be slippery, but there is a well placed bar to hold on to.

Prima kamer, fijn dat er een ligbad was in de badkamer. Klein ongemak: de lampen die zijn bevestigd achter het hoofdeinde van het bed warmen het hout op waardoor het een beetje uitzet. Als je dan het licht uitdoet om te gaan slapen koelt het weer af en maakt het ongeveer een half uur af en toe krakende geluiden. Tweede nacht alleen het kleine lampje gebruikt en geen probleem.

Great location, very close to the Sint-Pieters train station. Room was very comfortable and spatious. Staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, best croissants I had during my whole trip, including France. Really enjoyed my stay, would book again!

Great location, within 10 mins walk from the train station, very convenient. it takes about 20 mins walk to the gent centrum, but this is totally fine with me since I don't need to carry my luggage. Staff are nice and helpful.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Chamade. The room was nice sized, clean, and the bed comfortable. The hotel is about a 4-5 minute walk to the main St. Petrs train station, which also has tram stops for two trams that will take you to the southern edge of Ghent's city center. This made it convenient for a day trip to Bruges by train. We did not elect the breakfast at the hotel, but there were three bakeries on the way to the train station to pick up something to eat on the way. If I visit Ghent again, this hotel would be my first choice.

The Hotel was very clean and staff was always helpful. The garage was closed but it was easy to park on the street, however it was not that cheap, but the hotel informed us upfront so that was fair. It's a 20-30 min walk to the historic center. Many restaurants are close by. The hotel is very close to the train station. We had a room facing the street but could not hear the traffic noise. The price-performance ratio is excellent.

Hotel and rooms were lovely, clean and modern. Great location to catch the tram into cemtre of ghent. I did think 20 euros for breakfast was a little over priced. Also when i settled up for the honesty bar i was a little surprised at the total bill there too...

Zeer gezellig hotel, mooie kamer en badkamer. Ook zeer lekker ontbijt. Enkel kleine opmerking hierover dat het soms lang duurde vooraleer het buffet werd aangevuld en dan met name de broodjes wat toch essentieel is. Hotel ligt op 4min van het station dus was ideaal voor ons.

Very modern. Our room had a closet, comfortable beds, good lighting, and a desk, with large windows overlooking a quiet street. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and bacon. Shower floor can be slippery, but there is a well placed bar to hold on to.

Our room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. There were two large windows with a nice view of the street front. The whole hotel, that we could see, looked freshly remodeled. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet. The location was great with three tram lines nearby as well as the Gent-Sint-Pieters train station. Plenty of restaurants nearby, all though many are closed on Sunday- Monday. 20-25 minute walk or a short train ride to the historic city center.
