Check-in easy. Price very good. Twin beds - very comfy. Shower disappointing pressure. Not really in room much. Lunch - fish and chips - good. Breakfast excellent. Bar good. Prices seemed ok but Peroni at night disappointing. Was rest at lunchtime but “gas problems”. Staff excellent.

The staff are friendly and the food is good, especially the huge breakfast. Nice little bar area too with a beer garden. The 'executive' rooms definitely need a refrigerator and perhaps an iron and ironing board but they are comfortable.

The property was very nice, lovely hotel very good food. The grouting in bathroom floor tiles needs redone as coming out when sticks to wet feet from coming out of shower, not very nice on bare feet! We were given a room above the function room as a wedding was going on, needless to say our room was vibrating with the music until midnight. Wouldn’t book at weekend again as this could be a regular problem and we booked it as we wanted a quiet place to rest before a physical day. We were not part of wedding party.

The room was ok but old and tired. No usb’s for charging, one electrical socket didn’t work and I don’t think the room was hoovered very well (found gold bits from a broken necklace scattered about the room). The reception staff wasn’t overly friendly. It’s too bad as the outside looked warm and welcoming. The breakfast and staff in dining room were fantastic!!

Booked an Executive room and was shown to a dark and musty room looking out over the back of the property. There were red stains on the net curtains that looked like blood. I went back to reception and they moved me to another Executive room which had been modernised. It was much better. I don't know why they had not allocated that room in the first place as it was free that night.

Recently stayed for 2 nights, had an issue with cleanliness in the bathroom when I first arrived but was quickly resolved. It is an older property but overall ok. The room is spacious and the bed was very comfortable. They had gluten free rolls/toast available for breakfast which was very helpful and staff were friendly.

Standard for Best Western. Rather old fashioned, lots of brown wood, but comfortable and good service. Menu was mostly grilled and fried, but our meals were well-cooked and tasty. Nice views over the golf course fromhebroom at the back of the hotel.

Overall the property is ok, but it’s a bit dated I think. A bit old inside. Not very insulated between the rooms. You could hear almost everything above you or next to you. Sometimes can wake you up at night. The environment is really nice, food from the restaurant was amazing, services and staff were lovely, just the quality of the rooms are a bit let down.

Great staff very friendly. Lovely breakfast, taste and presentation. Public areas very nice. Room was ok but the bed was not comfortable, it only had one bedside table and it was not possible to close the bathroom door unless you are inside,(no external door handle). There was also no reliable WiFi either in the room or public areas which made it impossible to work online. These elements are a détraction from how good this place could be.

The room I was assigned was tiny! More like a cell than a room. I assume that this hotel has a few "budget" rooms and I had got one of those. The wallpaper was stained with water, there was no room to sit at the desk. All in all, it was a miserable cell-like room, not at all as expected. I'm sure this isn't indicative of all rooms but perhaps cheaper ones via Hotels.com? The restaurant was lovely though and breakfast was good.

Staff are Excellent. Had problem with room Electrics. This was Sorted with no problem.moved to upgraded room. Bar and Grill was lovely and food was good. Maybe rooms are just needing renovated.Overall Good Value fir Money.No complaints.

I booked at the last minute and when I arrived Keri greeted me with warmth and openness that started my stay off feeling comfortable and at ease. The room was fine. It was clean and cozy. I was in room 16 which felt a bit like I was in a corner closet do to it's location in an off shoot of the main hall. Once inside the room, it was decent space, tidy and acceptable. There wasn't any coffee in the room, which isn't a problem but did surprise me. The staff I dealt with made me feel at home.

Considering this was a few mins from Glasgow town centre this was really good value! The food was great and, again, not silly prices. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I also had a couple of cheeky Tunnocks Camarel wafers waiting for me when I attuned. What’s not to like!

Would highly recommend as a base for area .Glasgow is easily accessable by train, a 10min walk to stepps station & train 15- 20 mins into glasgow) falkirk wheel 30 min drive.clean & comfortable ,friendly staff.

A cosy bright hotel. Room was large, clean and had plenty of coffee, tea drinking chocolate and a selection of biscuits ( it's the little touches that make the difference).Staff were friendly helpful and attentive. There was a good selection of food both at evening meal and breckfast.

Very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately this hotel has very thin walls and very squeaky floorboards. Ear plugs are required to sleep. You could hear everything in the adjacent rooms. Food was way overpriced for what you got. Ended up driving out on my final night. Had a mixed grill with no egg !!

Perfect for 1 or 2 nights. Very attentive staff, public areas very clean. Bedrooms could perhaps do with a bit of modernisation - lighter colours might make the rooms feel bigger - but all in a good night sleep and had everything we needed. Food very good and reasonably priced.
