Pretty good for a holiday inn. The room was ckean and well maintained, and breakfast provided all if the usual items. The staff were all friendly and polite. Only criticism would be that the electric sockets only worked when lights in that part of the room were on. I plugged ny phone in to charge a d then went to bed. After a couple of days i was surprised to find my phone battery almost dead. It seemed a bit of a miserly practise for an orherwise very acceptable hotel.

Unfortunately the hot weather spoilt this stay. The room 304 was like Satans Inferno - so hot - the provided fan only moved hot air around - air con would have been so much better. Nearly went down to sleep in reception which is air conditioned.

Dirty carpet. Two star property. Didnt want to have to pay for breakfast which looked terrible. Hard beds. Hard pillows. Hardly slept. No option to purchase a twin room on website so had to have a small double. Very uncomfortable. Felt like a prison.

Great welcome on arrival had our dog and he got his own welcome with a new ball, chews and some doggy bags which was a nice touch. Breakfast was well organised and very good always plenty of food. If we had one negative thing to say it would be clean the remote control for the tv in the room, it was absolutely filthy and didn’t really want to use it so covered with a plastic bag. This was the only complaint

I stayed overnight twice, to and from Cornwall and Manchester and found the hotel adequate. Staff were generally helpful and friendly. The room itself was fairly basic but had a clean, comfortable bed. It was quite noisy though and i could hear guests in the hallway, adjoining rooms and even the rooms opposite. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Located close to the M5 with a good choice of places to eat and shop nearby. Fantastic pub just down the road which served a wonderful carvery!

we had a really small double bed ... it was the worst we have ever had to spent the night in ... lumpy, bumpy and zero support ... we hardy slept ... also toilet had maintenance issues and a really bright LED light from an emergency exit sign over the door contributed to our lack of sleep ... clean room, polite staff and nice breakfast was the only reason I gave two stars

I was in room 220 on the first floor , below and to the right above the fire escape door were to large vents ? Not sure what they were " venting " but quite noisey and intrusive through the night.

It was ok. Room was small for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Forgot no AC and it was ridiculously hot during a heat wave. They did provide a small fan which was helpful but there were not very many outlets in the room to charge phones etc. we only stayed one night so we made it work. But outside hotel was a cute pub - bee keepers or something. Food & beer was excellent and we could just walk over. Fish n chips sooo good!!

The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was ideal but the trouble I had replying to the email I received either by email (tried several ways) or by phone to the number given was worrying. Every thing was good when I got there but I received 3 emails saying I must tell them if I am bringing a dog even though on my booking I stated I am disabled and always with my service dog.

Had our pet dog with us, he was made welcome too, with his own gift. Ist night was a bit of a nightmere. Baby in next room was crying and kept me awake (woke me up about 5 times). Following evening baby started crying at about 8:30pm and continued for at least 30 mins. Went to reception and Luke who was on desk transferred us to another room. This solved the problem and we all had a peaceful night. All staff superb, food good. Would stay again

I added a note to my booking to ask info and to ask for extra duvet. Got swift answer and spare duvet ready when we checked in. Staff friendly, sofa bed good size, room clean and included bedroom was very lovely. Also great location with good food in pub just across the car park

Spacious bedroom, accessible and plenty of parking spaces. There is a restaurant just 100 yards away. Breakfast is included in the price . The kettle was dirty so check it before you use it.

Just an overnight stay - hotel was functional but room was very very warm after the recent hot weather but with the windows only able to open a couple of inches no way to get cooler air into the room! Hotel had provided a desktop fan which was noisy and just moved the hot air around! Handy pub next door for food but last orders at 10pm Breakfast good and included in price very rare these days!!

Very nice hotel within easy reach of the M5 and Gloucester. Room was comfortable and the breakfast was fine with hot food, cereals and toast. Plenty of room in the car park and very friendly staff. Worked out well for a couple of days

My complaint is with the food. Evening meal was cooked from frozen and served barely hot and pity full looking, poor quality and cheap ingredients. The cooked breakfast on day 1 wasn’t that bad albeit very basic. Day 2 however looked like they had reheated the left over sausages from day 1. If you stay here, eat next door at the Brewers Fayre, or at other eateries which are nearby.

This was an amazing value stay. Greeted by friendly staff and check in and out was quick and easy. The room and bathroom were spotless. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely and quiet. The Bumble Bee pub next door was perfect for an evening drink. Breakfast was busy and still all the food was plentiful and fresh. Cannot fault our stay.
