Todo bien solo los detalles normales de baño por falta de mantenimiento, solo falta un poquito mas de atencion en la limpieza del baño en cuanto los azulejos con moho , el cristal de las puertas de baño, , se sale agua por abajo y cabellos en las esquinas del piso. Y el gimnasio nunca lo pudimos usar por falta de una llave , las pesas en mal estado la bicicleta sin pedal y todo viejo y sucio . Son como digo solo detalles de mantenimiento y con esos detalles se levantaria aun mas y aun asi esperamos pronto volver.

They do not have ICE available for customers and no refrigerator in the room. The locations is a secluded from restaurants and local market places. this is why the hotel should offer more snack options to the customer. Specially late hours.

Bien, tengan en cuenta que no tiene elevadores, si les toca arriba y van cargados y son adultos mayores, les puede costar algo de trabajo. Me tocó cuarto de hasta arriba, se cimbra demasiado, con los movimientos de personas de cuartos aledaños, o con los automóviles de la avenida. Al igual se escuchan las conversaciones de los vecinos. Si no tienes problema con eso, por le demás es un lugar agradable. Son 22 habitaciones, tiene cochera para 6 autos, y al frente de la propiedad otros 4. te toca buscar lugar si no alcanzas.

Nice small boutique hotel, well located near to plaza del sol mall. But at the end I didn’t stay there because if you are bringing a car (like in my case) it might be a problem since their parking space is limited.

Also, the parking availability is limited and on a first come basis which makes it difficult because there's not a walkable plaza near by. Afternoon traffic can be challenging too since it is located at the corner of an intersection with a roundabout.

It is a very cute decor! Antique or rustic, vintage, boutique style looks like a hacienda from back in the day. Tranquil & quiet located in the center of a very nice neighborhood, with easy access but it’s on the corner so gets busy for parking at times. Staff was friendly and helpful & food was great! Only negative is there is no refrigerator or ice machine. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Todo muy bien , salvo el punto del estacionamiento al huésped , regresé de madrugada y solicité que me abrieran para ingresar el auto, la respuesta fue es que ya no tenemos lugar , y luego ??? Donde lo dejo ??? Lo que me salvó es que venía en moto y como sea pude hacer maniobras para dejarla en un parque lo espacio ! Creo que deben de considerar tener alguien que pueda garantizar el resguardo de los autos ( motos ) para sus huéspedes. Solo por es punto no podría decir que mi estancia fue excelente

Excelente lugar. Es increible el nivel de limpieza del lugar, muy acogedor, con instalaciones impecables. La atención y sazón de la cocinera, así como el de los meseros es inmejorable. Deben vivir la experiencia de probar este hotel. Mucho mejor que las habitaciones de los hoteles de cadenas grandes. Ampliamente recomendable. Les va a encantar.

Las fotos de la propiedad no le hacen justicia a cómo luce cuando llegas a verla. Es preciosa, tiene una decoración muy bonita y muchísimos acabados de madera. El personal es amable, el jardín es pequeño y está muy bien cuidado. Los desayunos son suficientes y muy deliciosos, el señor que te atiende es un encanto. En lo que respecta a las habitaciones son amplias, con un baño amplio con insumos, sin embargo, la que me tocó a mi tenía un detalle en una pared y en general estaba muy oscura, me pareció que le faltaba un poco de iluminación. En general tuve una buena experiencia, sumamente tranquila a excepción de un comentario un poco incómodo que recibí del personal. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme en este hotel.

Beautiful decor and exterior, design. Lovely garden area to sit in. In suburban area but walking distance to plaza for shopping or food. Helpful staff and easy check in. Quiet inside but you can hear traffic noise as near a busy road but not so much you can't sleep. Shower water not hot but plenty warm enough for comfortable shower. Very spacious room.Great place. Highly recommend

Todo viejo, mal cuidado, el personal con mala actitud, el hotel vibra terrible con el paso de camiones, se siente como si temblara, no hay elevador y nos tocó una habitación en segundo piso, nadie nos ayudó con el equipaje. Un día pedí que fueran más tarde a hacer el aseo y nunca volvieron. O sea muy mala experiencia. No lo recomiendo en absoluto. No vuelvo jamás

El desayuno no es americano, solo nos ofrecieron huevos y acompañamientos, la variedad es casi nula pero la atención es excelente. El internet es muy malo y por ende no hay televisión. Por el resto es muy recomendable, tranquilo y lindo. El personal siempre atento y amables.

I have stayed there several times in the past the staff is excellent. The rooms are very large and clean. The problem they have is parking is tight for a larger vehicle and the other is the beds are very hard.

This place was amazing it’s very cozy and elegant and rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was delicious and the waiter was very polite and made sure my experience was a good one I didn’t get his name but he was young and had a lot of tattoos 👍👍 to him

Overall I would recommend this hotel. Beautiful old hacienda style hotel. It’s like stepping back in time. Clean. Beautifully decorated hotel and gardens. **We noticed they were seeking staff positions which might answer why the restaurant breakfast server was slow. Although there was only 3 tables occupied. I was given my breakfast order but no cutlery. No problem, we got up and got it ourselves. We asked for a tiny bit of ice for our water to go and she told me to go to the nearest convenience store. Nit picking , bad day, maybe, I was just a little taken aback. Limited parking.

This Boutique Hotel is located near a shopping center and Convention Center. The hotel is loaded with charm, and the staff were very kind. The building appeared to be in good state of repair. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the garden, the coffee was excellent! We will stay here again.

Me he queda Mas de diez años en este hotel, en una ocasión alquilé todo el hotel para mi Boda y aunque me encanta el lugar, cada vez es mas impersonal , los recepcionistas son cada vez mas insolentes, les importa muy poco el Servicio al cliente, les solicite una habitación que es en la que siempre nos quedamos y me dijeron que no era posible , y eso que habia llamado como mas de un mes de antelación. Me he queda Mas de diez años en este hotel, en una ocasión alquilé todo el hotel para mi Boda y aunque me encanta el lugar, cada vez es mas impersonal , los recepcionistas son cada vez mas insolentes, les importa muy poco el Servicio al cliente, les solicite una habitación que es en la que siempre nos quedamos y me dijeron que no era posible , y eso que habia llamado como mas de un mes de antelación. Front desk staff was horrible! She had someone check the room before she let me check out, which is understandable. I waited a while then she got a message on her walkie talkie indicating the room was perfectly fine and everything in order. But I was backing up my car to leave the same reception staff came running to stop me! She wanted to know if I took one of the towels in the room! HOW INSULTING! I said — "Excuse me why would I want to take your old, stained towels?" I did not even use your hotel towels! I always travel with my own towel! How insulting! Moreover, you sent your housekeeper to check the room BEFORE you let me check out. You then said everything was in order. Now you are accusing me of taking one of your old, stained towels? DO I LOOK LIKE I NEED AN OLD UGLY HOTEL TOWEL?" I guess they treat certain guests in this hotel like thieves! Never EVER staying at this hotel ever AGAIN!

Super friendly!! Ramón was great, helped us with our luggage ( we got in like 9pm) super helpful. In the morning, breakfast was delicious and always asked how we wanted our eggs!! Highly recommend this boutique style hotel 😊

Excellent place to enjoy one's vacations it feels like being at home, Excellent staff everyone's great and treats us like family, very much recommend and definitely will come back again like I has been doing for the past 10 years, love this place.

The Hotel is located in an area with easy access to shopping malls, main roads in the city and areas with very good restaurants. Staff is willing to help and ensure the stay is great. Also, the decoration and overall maintenance of the property is excellent. It is truly a great place to stay within the city.

Beautiful property and friendly staff. The nearest place to eat/shop is a 15 min walk. The traffic is very dangerous for pedestrians. Cars don't stop so you have to run across several big streets.

Room was clean and spacey. Staff was very helpful and there is a beautiful garden. However, the breakfast was cold. I had stayed there 8 years ago and the food was much better. Also, the menu is about 1/4 what it offered before.

Very elegant place. Breakfast was not to the hotel standers. Shopping mall (what they call plaza) walking distant. You will have trouble finding parking. If they’re out of space. The area the hotel is in, very safe and clean. The rooms very spacious. I would stay here again.

Overall I would recommend this hotel. Beautiful old hacienda style hotel. It’s like stepping back in time. Clean. Beautifully decorated hotel and gardens. **We noticed they were seeking staff positions which might answer why the restaurant breakfast server was slow. Although there was only 3 tables occupied. I was given my breakfast order but no cutlery. No problem, we got up and got it ourselves. We asked for a tiny bit of ice for our water to go and she told me to go to the nearest convenience store. Nit picking , bad day, maybe, I was just a little taken aback. Limited parking.

This Boutique Hotel is located near a shopping center and Convention Center. The hotel is loaded with charm, and the staff were very kind. The building appeared to be in good state of repair. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the garden, the coffee was excellent! We will stay here again.

El desayuno no es americano, solo nos ofrecieron huevos y acompañamientos, la variedad es casi nula pero la atención es excelente. El internet es muy malo y por ende no hay televisión. Por el resto es muy recomendable, tranquilo y lindo. El personal siempre atento y amables.

This place was amazing it’s very cozy and elegant and rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was delicious and the waiter was very polite and made sure my experience was a good one I didn’t get his name but he was young and had a lot of tattoos 👍👍 to him

Every time we come to Guadalajara we choose to Stay at La Mansion Del Sol. We like how cozy it is, close to everything however in a residential area. The staff is excellent and they make sure to maje you feel welcomed. The breakfast is excellent, great way to start your day. Rooms are clean and spacious. Lots of positive things to say about this place. On the negative there is maintenance to be done, this is an older place which is part of its charm but they need to keep on the maintenance . I traveled with my siblings and we each had our own room. In one of my siblings room the floor lamp light bulb was coming off and there was no handle in one of the sinks, on my other sibling room there was no towel bar in her bathroom and in my room part of the flooring was coming off, a hook was missing in the bathroom for the towels and one of the sinks was not working. Please do not let this scare you, I spoke to management and I hope everything will be taken care by the next time we come back which will ge this fall. We are planning to stay at La Mansion Del Sol.
