This visit really fell short. On Expedia says they have a gym. When I got there they said there was no gym but could pay 15 euros per day to visit another gym nearby. They need to adjust their listing since it’s inaccurate. Rooms weren’t clean, dust balls in the corners and overall very worn. Shower soaked the whole bathroom and often would go very hot without adjusting the temp. Safe in room wasn’t working. I had to ask three times and wait two days for someone to come. Turns out the English instructions were just wrong. I wouldn’t suggest booking this hotel, one frustration after another. I shared my concern and they said since I paid through Expedia they couldn’t do anything. Overall very disappointed. I hope Expedia will do something about this experience.

Although some areas of this property could do with an update and/or thorough deep cleaning, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Some of the common areas and hallways weren’t the cleanest. Floors in our room required recleaning/cleaning upon our arrival but everything was smooth sailing after that. Bed and linens were clean and comfortable. Room temperature was comfortable. Breakfast and helpful staff couldn’t have been better. Location was very walkable with public transportation stops right out front. Central train station just a short walk away. I recommend reserving one of the rooms with a sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ett väldigt slitet hotell. Behöver verkligen en renovering. Sämst var att det utlovade gymmet inte fanns på hotellet. Var ett vanligt gym i närheten och kostade 15 euro att nyttja. Dock bra frukost och bra läge. Men jag bytte hotell efter en natt.

Hotel ben situato, salvo per il posteggio, segnalato come collegato all'hotel, ma invece distante oltre 150 metri (quindi attenzione con valigie e/o persone con difficoltà di movimento) e complicato di accesso (abbiamo dovuto telefonare 3 volte alla struttura per trovarlo e capire dove posteggiare dato che l'indicazione fornita era insufficiente.

I reccomend "Family Sauna room" which gives some additional space for 2 adults and 2 kids. As many guest reviewed already, the facility is really old and outdated. However I should be fare to mention that staffs maintain them very clean and functioning. The location is perfect. Yo can reach from the main station on foot, or 1 stop by the tram or subway. Still the inside of the hotel is silent enough. Another highlight is the breakfast. We are really happy for the selection and quality. Fully reccomending to add it at the booking time.

The only thing that wasn’t clear to me when I booked (and I should have confirmed) was about parking. There is paid parking across the street with underground tunnels connecting the hotel to the garage and the mall but it took a while for us to figure it out.

Sentralt hotell i Helsinki. Rent og fint, men ikke helt nytt. God lydisolasjon av rom mot hovedgata. Veldig godt og innholdsrikt frokostbord.

For the price the hotel was very good. Just a short walk from the station, the room and bathroom were clean, just don't expect a luxe place. The included buffet breakfast was very good.

I loved the central location, clean room and comfortable bed. They also had a great selection of vegan options at breakfast!

The hotel has good location. Easy to walk to any place of interest. Our rooms were clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. Some good cafeterias and restaurants close. I would stay there again.

Very centric hotel, our room didn't have windows, but was confortable, big bathroom, very good breakfast.

Quarto muito quente, sem possibilidade de abertura das janelas e defeito no ajuste do ar condicionado ! Não tive solução pelos funcionários !

Room came with air con. Which I couldn’t turn off. Set fan to 0 but still made a noise. And for a light sleeper was not good. Shelving next to toilet which was a potential hazard. New silicone required around shower area. No plug for basin. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice.

The first room we were in had non functioning lamps and a non functioning TV. The room ( like all others in the hotel) had no telephone so solving this problem required trips to reception. The receptionist had to come me to the room to inspect the problem as, at 4 or 5 in the afternoon, there was apparently no other staff member in whole hotel. We were offered a room change and accepted it. I asked about cancelling the next two nights based on this experience and whether we would get a refund for them ( we had paid for the room in advance). The receptionist could not answer this question but told me a manger would call me later. He did so but he couldn't answer the refund question either. I asked as told another manager would call me the next day but I received no call. I just felt worn down and pessimistic that any action would occur. This room was approximately AUD 500 per night. We were given a EUR 10 voucher The hotel's unstated policy is clear: 1. get the customers money and keep it while elevating the problem till the customer is worn out. 2. Maximise profit by having a receptionist run the the hotel after about 4pm

Convenient for centre of Helsinki and close to railway station. Good breakfast buffet. No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms though.

Posizione perfetta, centralissimo. Colazione abbondante e che soddisfa ogni tipo di esigenza. A voler essere pignoli l'hotel richiederebbe più manutenzione, la nostra camera non aveva finestre (ma era specificato), l'illuminazione della stanza era scarsa e il lavandino del bagno era rotto ma considerando la cifra pagata non si può chiedere di più. Struttura comunque perfetta se vi serve solo un appoggio dove dormire e fare una doccia.

I arrived at 7am and was charged 20 euros for early check-in as the usual check-in time is 4pm. The front desk is manned 24 hrs and the staff are on-the-ball. The hotel's location is superb; Just a stone's throw to Kauppatori market, senate square, Helsinki Cathedral and Uspsenski Cathedral. It is located right beside the university, right beside an underground passage to casino, train station and food hall. It is also right next to a recycling shop where you can shop for 2nd hand stuff. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel so it helps if you are feeling tired and wanted to walk lesser. The down side is of course you can hear the trams travelling from the hotel room (it's quite muffled though audible). The worst part is the sound proofing because you can hear other rooms' flushing and when people walked past. There is no mini fridge nor mini bar in the room. Breakfast wise, there was a spread but it was not as varied as I expected it to be after reading the reviews. The breakfast was mainly assorted bread & jam, pickled vegetables, assorted cheese, chicken ham, oat porridge, overnight cereal, assorted cereal, rye rice pastry, scrambled eggs, 6 min egg, bacon, rosti (hashbrown), beetroot balls, baked beans, tomato with egg, assorted juice. The floor has some sand which I called for room service to clean the floor but the sand is still there. Room service is fantastic; they would change towels everyday unless you put do not disturb.

Very good location, easy to walk to the most tourist attractions. Front desk people very friendly and helpful! Hot water offered at the lobby was an extra treat !

Chambre de taille correcte, tres bien placé, petit dej genial, seul bémol, la literie tres fatiguée et reveil trés tôt a cause du tramway qui passe dous les fenêtres. Sinon très bien.

Nice hotel in an excellent location. There's a tram stop immediately outside, the main train station is about a 5 minute walk away and it's only a 10 min walk to the harbour / Allas Spa. The breakfast was great with a mix of full English and traditional Finnish offerings. Would stay here again without hesitation.

A great city centre location with a great breakfast - copious amounts of lovely bacon! The staff were very helpful & gave my wife a heater for the room even though in the end it wasn't needed - floor 7 is the top floor & was very quiet

Decent hotel. Excellent breakfast with a wide range of dishes. Hotel itself a little tired in places but for the money very good.

Throughout our stay, the experience had been pretty great. The service was excellent as although the TV didn’t work and the air con had been leaking water, the staff quickly came to fix the problems. It had been splendid as we could store our luggage pretty easily. The choices of the food in the breakfast were pretty abundant with great quality. For instance, the bacon, croissant, the strawberry rhubarb cakes were mouth-watering. It would be even better if the juice can be fresher rather using the concentrated juice mixed with water. The location of the hotel was superb as we could access the tram and trains easily.
