Bra beläget hotell i Helsingfors. Vi anlände efter 16:00 och kön för incheckningen var mycket lång och det tog ca 25 minuter innan det var min tur. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpte mig med mina frågor. Jag parkerade i hotellets garage som fungerade smidigt. Bastun och poolen på våning 9 var mycket uppskattat, men jag hade önskat att det fanns handukar där så att man slapp ta sin egna för att bada. Hade även varit bra om man fick en morgonrock och tofflor på rummet för att öka bekvämligheten. Rummet var helt ok, men saknar vattenkokare eller tepåsar/kaffe som man vant sig med de flesta andra hotell. Rumstemperaturen var ca 28°C och rummet saknar en riktig luftkonditionering. Värmen är nog bara ett problem under sommarperioden, men ändå väldigt jobbigt. Så det var svettigt på rummet vilket minskade komforten något. Hade varit trevligt med en fläkt på rummet. Frukostbuffe hade ett stort utbud av mat. Dock rätt mycket folk och hektisk så kom tidigt för att få det lite lugnare. Överlag ett bra hotell som hade kunnat bli perfekt med små förbättringar.

Städning av rummet, nja.. vore bra om det sker före kl 15 på em...😳 Valde ingen städning 2 dagar pga det. Tredje dagen blev det städat, dvs tömde papperskorgen och slätade ut täckena lite hjälpligt på sängen...😳 Frukosten mycket prisvärd och mycket att välja mellan😍

Hotel grande. La recepción amables. Posibilidad de dejar las maletas si llegas antes de la hora de entrada así como en la salida. Habitación muy bien. Amplia y limpia. La piscina y la sauna un plus para los niños y mayores. Además tienen pimpong y zona de juegos para niños. Bravo. El desayuno una locura. El tranvía está en la puerta. Si decides ir andando estás a 15 mins. Una buenísima opción.

Rigtig godt og pænt værelse. Ekstra opredning fungerede fint så voksne kunne sove uden problemer. Rent og pænt med god service. Poolen var kold og ikke indbydende. Saunaen var rigtig fin og med flot udsigt. Deres bar var lidt kedelig og bartenderen kunne ikke ret mange drinks.

Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. La literie est très bien. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et bon. Seul bémol : les ascenseurs ne sont pas du tout adapté au volume de clients. La piscine est froide et souvent pleine de monde. L’accès à des escaliers serait un vrai plus. En termes d’accès l’hôtel est très bien situé. À proximité du centre ville à pied ou en tramway, l’arrêt étant situé devant l’établissement.

Overall a good hotel with a good location, tram is easy to reach and the city center is still in reach by foot. What is really stupid is the non availability of stairs. They’re only there for an emergency, on a normal day you need to take the elevator (3 are there). I waited 10 minutes around 8:30 o‘clock to get from level 3 to level 1…

The checkin process was smooth, the room was decent size and the hotel location was great….however, our room (545) had a very bad odour in the bathroom. We were at the hotel only for one night and not in the room all day, so we somehow managed using it….but also in terms of cleanliness there was a used pink towel left on the hair dryer that didn’t belong to us. The room also didn’t had any kettle for making tea/coffee which was a bit strange. The breakfast spread was great. The hotel gets quite busy so the lifts are always packed and you have to wait a long time to get one. There were very limited TV channels in English to watch. Overall, I would call the stay a pleasant one but it worked for our purpose.

One of the reasons for staying here again, the hotel has a swimming pool, sauna, and gym facilities. The rooms. Are pleasantly clean and studio like for solo travelers. Though due to the housekeeping aspect the hallway wood trim along the walls were badly scratched and damaged by the carts used to carry clean towels and other cleaning supplies for the employees each day. Other areas of note is the vacuum cleaner doesn’t have a specific model to clean corners, edges, or the overhead vents for the rooms. They are coated over with a film of collected dust. Like in the Galway’s along the edges of the carpet and running wood trimming everywhere. The housekeeping should have dusters to easily wipe off surfaces. And the management should invest on finding some sort of wall protectors for the wood trim in the hallways.

Very welcoming and serviceminded personal. Nice and clean room, dark and quiet to sleep in. Great breakfast, a diversity of tasty things to eat, and over all a very pleasent stay in the heart of Helsinki! Why we dont give Scandic park a higher rate: - no doormat (melting snow makes the floor dirty and wet) - no hooks for jackets etc ( the wardrobe only had hangers that were attached - hard to hang youtube clothes) - the bedding had a small blodstain on it, very visible. So the person making the bed should not miss that…

Fina rum. Bra extra sängar. Fin utsikt. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Tyvärr dåligt städat. Kladd vid sängen på golvet och damm samt ölkorkar under sängen. Avloppet i duschen flödade över. Frukost helt godkänd.

In una struttura del genere ti aspetti gli ombrelli (visto che sei in una città molto piovosa), ma niente ombrelli, gli accappatoi (visto che c’è la piscina), ma per gli accappatoi volevano 5€, le ciabattine, ma no, neanche le ciabattine. Sulla pulizia posso dire che in cinque giorni non hanno mai passato l’aspirapolvere oppure l’hanno fatto veramente male visto che le briciole di pane cadute il primo giorno erano ancora lì quando siamo partiti. Il bar ed il ristorante dell’hotel non sono quasi mai riuscito a vederli aperti. Sono stato in passato in altri Scandic, ma scarsi come questo non ne avevo mai visti. E sulla gentilezza stenderei un velo pietoso.

Die Zimmer waren sauber und völlig ausreichend ausgestattet. Leider waren die Flure sehr dreckig, hier wurde (so sah es aus) lange nicht mehr gesaugt. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, leider gab es wirklich jeden Tag genau die selbe Auswahl. Wenn man länger bleibt wird es so sehr eintönig. Die Lage ist super und die Straßenbahn hält quasi vor der Tür. Aber es ist auch vieles zu Fuß erreichbar.

AC:n var nästan obefintlig och fungerade bäst med gardinerna fördragna. Vi befann oss som i en varm, stängd garderob. Men utsikten från fönstret var direkt mot betongväggen mittemot, så det var inte så mycket roligt från fönstret ändå. Incheckningen börjar först klockan 16.00 och tidig incheckning kostar 20 euro. Parkeringsgaraget kostade 29 euro per natt. Ganska dyrt....

Exellent staff and the free breakfast. Great location. My wife and l had to but the top thin mattress on the floor to sleep for 5 nights because the beds were too soft. No fan in the WC.

The view was towards cement wall. AC lousy, very hot in the room. Curtains had to be closed in order to get most of the lousy AC. Felt like spending 4 nights in a hot damp closet.

Der var en central støvsuger som vi blev vækket af hver dag. Da den susede helt vildt i vores værelse, selvom det var i andre værelser den blev brugt. Bartenderen nægtede at servere for os, 20 min før baren egentlig åbnede. Normalt ville vi bare have købt drikkevarer ved receptionen. Men der stod nok 40 mennesker i kø til at checke ind. Han var ubehøvlet og med noget af en attitude. Æg forklædt som pulver æg til morgenmad. Skrækkelig morgenmadsbuffet

We arrived at 2pm and was told to pay 40 euro for 2 people to check in before 4pm… the rooms are clearly available, so just a cash cow. Not staying at Scandic again. 4 pm is late in comparison with other hotels. The hotel aisles have a grim smell resembling very low cost motels in the US. Very unpleasant

Bra beläget hotell i Helsingfors. Vi anlände efter 16:00 och kön för incheckningen var mycket lång och det tog ca 25 minuter innan det var min tur. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpte mig med mina frågor. Jag parkerade i hotellets garage som fungerade smidigt. Bastun och poolen på våning 9 var mycket uppskattat, men jag hade önskat att det fanns handukar där så att man slapp ta sin egna för att bada. Hade även varit bra om man fick en morgonrock och tofflor på rummet för att öka bekvämligheten. Rummet var helt ok, men saknar vattenkokare eller tepåsar/kaffe som man vant sig med de flesta andra hotell. Rumstemperaturen var ca 28°C och rummet saknar en riktig luftkonditionering. Värmen är nog bara ett problem under sommarperioden, men ändå väldigt jobbigt. Så det var svettigt på rummet vilket minskade komforten något. Hade varit trevligt med en fläkt på rummet. Frukostbuffe hade ett stort utbud av mat. Dock rätt mycket folk och hektisk så kom tidigt för att få det lite lugnare. Överlag ett bra hotell som hade kunnat bli perfekt med små förbättringar.

The hotel was in a good location and had a good appearance. It was very busy so they could have opted a breakfast option on the top floor which they have done before when busy. Also the middle lift was not working for most of Saturday which added to congestion for the other 2. The restaurant as well although providing elegant food for dinner, the service was a little slow. Overall the hotel was well kept and staff were friendly and there were just a few areas where small improvements could have been made.

The hotel is well run with very good customer service. On the last morning of our stay the waitor from Somalia gave better than great service and made my family feel extra special and welcome. The only small drawback was the check in staff did not know about the daily chess happening close by at the library. This is a great initiative and a chess lovers dream. The hotel should be aware of this great idea and advertise it to interested guests.

Slightly out of the main part of the city with short walk access to a neighborhood square with restaurants, a walking park, local rail access to all the town has to offer. Quick train or Uber ride to the large market area. Great hotel if you are walking to the Olympic Stadium for an event. Nice, very large commercial sized fitness center onsite which was awesome. Not your typical hotel gym at all. 4 minute walk to one of the highest rated local cuisine restaurants in Kuu.

It’s an average hotel I’d say. The breakfast is not good at all though and super crowded. Like even hard to find free seats. It’s stressful and chaotic The gym is good though! No amenities in the room and not even a water boiling kettle

The hotel was well located in an area that was walking distance from attractions, restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies.I really enjoyed eating at the Green Hippo nearby. Our room had a view of the lovely park with Toololahti Bay. We arrived about an hour early but thankfully our room was ready. Check in and out were easy and pleasant. The beds were comfortable, and there was enough space for the three of us and our luggage. The only thing I did not like about the room was the shower, as there was no separation of the floor space from the rest, meaning that we needed to change floor towels consistently. I really did not like that, especially since we were there for a week and had to deal with it. The breakfast was amazing. There were options for various dietary needs. The booking system was great, especially since the hotel is large and breakfast can get quite busy. The attending staff were very efficient at ensuring that food was stocked and that the tables were cleared. As a side note, I wish that guests wouldn’t waste so much food! The gym was also good, as it had cardio machines plus lots of weightlifting equipment and a separate stretching area.

Great location, large choice for breakfast. Superior family room was good for 4 (inc teen) and bathroom large and well equipped. Wardrobes tired and doors loose. Fantastic amenities including table tennis in foyer and bike hire.
