The rooms are always immaculate and the staff are absolutely brilliant! The pool is heated and Devine! We have stayed at least 10 times and won’t stay anywhere else!

Balcony view was good - could see the bay. There are buildings at the front of the view. Underground car parking good for our unit but sometimes insufficient parks. Pool not very deep and I would suggest a bar to help with accessibility and increasing the temp - sometimes it was too cool. Pool towels available. Internet not available for all five days in our room. The apartment was lovely and the overall complex is great. Around $10 - $12 to get an Uber into the city. IGA close by but it is a bit hidden from the street when first looking for it. Fresh towels available every day was great. We would stay here again.

We have travelled a fair bit overseas and within Australia and Bay View Villas was one of the best places we have stayed at. Everything was okay: wifi, cooking facilities, excellent king size bed, etc. We received a warm welcome from Judy on arrival. We had a balcony with an excelent view of Hobart with secure car parking under the building. We didnt have children with us but there were games for them in a lounge area as well as an indoor pool. The laundry was excellent with all the supplies you need for your room: towels, soap, etc. AS well ther was an outdoor BBQ. I would certainly recommend Bay View Villas to anyone visiting Hobart!

We loved our stay here! As a small family, we loved that the property offered free on site parking and the option to add cots to the room. Reception was so friendly and helpful. Another huge bonus was the guest laundry that we allowed us to clean and dry our clothing. We loved the look of the pool but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try it. The property was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was great! Would definitely stay here again.

Wir haben ein Studio mit Balkon gehabt mit einer herrlichen Aussicht über Hobart. Die Studios sind in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Ein refit würde nicht schaden. Das Schlafzimmer ist ein finsteres Loch. Im Badezimmer hat sich bei der Dusche „Schimmel“ gebildet. Dies sollte unbedingt behoben werden

We’ve stayed here twice previously and had lovely stays. This time though the check in staff was not helpful. Both times previously we’ve had sofa bed so I presumed we’d be assigned one this time. But upon checking into our room it was only a small 2 seater sofa. I then requested a change of room but was told they’re fully booked. Their website showed plenty if rooms. To have a roller bed would cost an extra $40 pn! One of us slept on the floor for the next 6 nights. Disappointing to say the least.

An excellent choice for 3 foot weary bushwalkers. Hot showers/bath, good location and great price for what we got. My only gripe (and this is being very picky!) - was the internal staircase is very narrow and the stair treads are quite small. I'm sure it'd be fine if you have small feet. :-)

Nice place to stay. Unfortunately the view of the bay was limited to looking out the window of the upstairs bedroom. Not all units have a view of the bay. Could do with some new pots and pans and updated furniture. Clock radio in lounge was from the 70’s.

We had great views of the bay from our room and overall a very pleasant stay. We even had wallabies visit out the front of our room one morning. The room size was okay overall, just a little cramped around the dining table). The kitchen was a bit cramped, but it still had everything that we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Bayview Villas. The rooms were spotless, and the bathroom and toilet were both modern and well-maintained. The views from our room were amazing. We appreciated the availability of laundry facilities, and the convenience of accessing towels and other amenities like coffee, sugar, and shampoo from the laundry room whenever needed. The only downside was that the upstairs bedrooms lacked fans or air conditioning. On a few hot days, it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep. Aside from that, we had a fantastic experience.

The property was fine but they don’t do housekeeping on request . My son has eczema and I requested for the room to be cleaned which was refused . I then requested for additional sheets which I offered to do and they dropped the sheets to the room. It’s a good place if you don’t want housekeeping daily .

Wonderful staff can’t do enough to make your stay as easy as possible! Still the best hotel in Hobart! The views are beautiful and the guy that cleans the property is such a hard worker and so talkative it’s wonderful! The girls that clean the rooms are wonderful and make it a pleasure to stay here! The manager is so accommodating it’s ridiculous! Thanks bay view!

These were barely attended apartments with a check in window of 2 hours from 2-4pm and then your key is put in a lock box and you are texted a code. They did not have my number correct and this made it a very difficult for us. It took over 45 minutes to get the code as no one answered the phone number left at reception. Security did not come to the door to help even though this was the process. Once in our apartment the heat exchanger did not work. We spent another hour trying to fix that ourselves. No one to call so we hudled under a large blanket we found in the closet for the pull out couch. Used it as an extra layer on the bed and were happy to leave the next morning. Location close to Mount Wellington Washington nice.
