Easy location to find and plenty of free parking. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Staff super friendly but professional. Pub next door is great value and plenty of options. Easy to walk in Hedon centre and £10 gets you a taxi to Hull Centre. Absolutely amazing value!

Enjoyed the stay ,everything good, the one thing that stood out for us was the staff seemed that it was hard work to smile and serve us at the bar ,didn't seem bothered if we had to wait even though it was quite and nobody at the bar but me

The hotel itself was well below other greene king I stayed in! The corridors were in a mess smelly dirty carpet not been vacuumed in a long time. Very scruffy place.

Really enjoyed my stay here and was very impressed. What really made it was the lovely team - every single staff member I encountered went out of their way to be helpful. The room was immaculately clean too. With the Hungry Horse nearby and shops you don't have to get into your car for, you've got everything in one spot, and it's easy to get to. Definitely going to come back here again. There are only two negatives; the corridors look a little tired, although the room I was in wasn't once inside, and the room was a little cool, and I couldn't work out how to adjust the radiator. Not enough to stop me returning though, as it's a good hotel at a very reasonable price.

I was disappointed in the interior it’s very tatty and in desperate need of refurbishment.dining facilities were poor for breakfast.the toaster cremated the toast and if you turned it down it still cremated the edge whilst the centre remained almost untouched.the bed was not made on my second day, and the room wasn’t hoovered. A lot of the time there was no one in reception as the ey were helping out in the restaurant. The outside was covered in litter and cigarette button the Saturday morning,clearly appearance is not a priority.Although the price was reasonable I was verquite disssapointed. Only stay here if your desperate I will not return.the only thing that was good was staff ,they were very friendly and very helpful.

First the positives. The staff are really helpful and friendly, good bathroom towels, a powerful hot shower and a large, reasonably comfortable bed. The negatives. The bathroom could do with deep clean, a non functioning grubby mirror light, rusty bin and pink mould on the shower head. Not great. The hallway carpets are also in a very sad state. Breakfast was very average for the money. I did message the hotel about check in times but received no response

Stayed for a night to visit Saltend for work. The rooms are very old fashioned and a bit tired, but very clean. Service was great and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Does the job at a good price.

This is my 3rd or 4th visit. The room price reasonable and having the restaurant attached means you can dip in and out as you need. The purpose of our visit was to see family and friends. The mattress in room 4 was poor. It ha a big dip in it. When I sat on the bedside, the dip in the bed meant I fell sideways. And similar when lying in bed, I rolled towards the middle.and woke every morning with a lump in my back. I didn't mention it until leaving as we had a busy schedule and changing rooms would have been a nuisance. I hope the staff took this on board. The staff are friendly and informative and at times very busy, meaning they couldn't be in 2 places at once. Ie not at hotel but somewhere else. Value for money? I guess so especially when using Tesco points. Please check your mattresses more regularly this is a basic for any where offering overnight stays. Thank you

the staff were great and friendly, breakfast was hot and fresh. the bed was massive! a couple of downsides were that the mattress on the bed was quite thin, and you could easily hear people in the next rooms/corridor. However, for the price i think it was spot on

No sleep for me. Generator in car park outside room going day and night and room was really hot so had a choice of be hot and annoyed or open the window the generator be even louder. Also lights on side of building on all night shining through curtains. Bed really comfy though. Staff lovely.

Good location, a bus stop just a few minutes away and most importantly quiet. The only downfall would be the lack of maintenance in the room itself, the mirror light in the bathroom was cracked a didn’t work, the bathroom fan wasn’t working and generally the room lacked a good refresh. Looked very well used.

Staff appeared disinterested. For example at breakfast no glasses, no mugs and no coffee. Chipped crockery. Observed a number of staff having a chat as far away as possible from the breakfast area. Only one member of staff appeared to be working. Staff were most animated when it was time to clear the breakfast area.

Many things in the room were broken, table lamp, bathroom heater, bathroom light, bathtub cover, etc. The staff was homophonic and rude. I was ignored by several bartenders and treated badly by 2 front desk workers. English Breakfast was minuscule. Overall bad experience. Would not recommend to anyone especially LGBT couples.

The experience was amazing, at arrival i asked if i could move my motorbike to outside the window, but the room we originally had was at the back and the desk clerk moved our room too the front so i could park my motorbike outside the window.

Decent hotel in a good location, big bed to enjoy myself with the husband and wife threesome I organised through Tinder. Stayed their for three nights and staff were nice, didn't eat in the place as its cheap food. My guests were happy with the room whilst we entertained ourselves.

Cleanliness ok. Food was extremely disapointing across 3 meals. Decided to just bring in a pre packed sandwich on 2nd night after rock hard burger night before. Breakfast - nice guy very interactive but no checkbacks. Extremely poor full english. Forgot beans, cold shriveled mushy half tom, microwaved sausage that had gone hard and split. Bacon ok. Coffee cold both mornings and dribbling out of jug.
