It safe are to park. I liked the cameras at the front for safety.

No security from anybody coming to your front door in a busy city No security on the opening windows and even on the second level Special back entry was from the Alley way

Overall hotel has most of facilities, but it doesn't have lift. Manually need to take your luggage up the stairs.

Would be better if there icemachine worked as i like my water cold

I like ground level rooms with my car outside the door !

Easy parking

Rooms were clean, parking was limited and difficult. Outside the rooms seemed very dirty

The person at the checkin desk seemed to be somewhat disorganized. But they have a unique system where there is no one at the desk but there is a button that we had to push. It rings in a back room and the person appears. Checkin was slow but we got it done. Then I asked him where there was a restaurant suitable for dinner. He got out a map and showed me a couple of choices several blocks away. I didn't say anything but it seemed odd as there is a Dennys next door, where we went and it was quite good. Our room was on the second floor and there is no elevator. We are in the elderly category so stair can be difficult at times but there were no other rooms available. There was no suggestion from him as to helping us. Once in the room it was OK but the inadequate air conditioning unit was very noisy however we had no choice because of the outside temperature. While the room was reasonable, the motel in general was somewhat run down. The breakfast is included but it was very basic with limited choices. The last straw was the inadequate pillows. We asked if they had more pillows on our way to dinner. He said he would take a look and call our room, leave a message and let us know.. We returned from dinner to see him hand a pillow to another guest. We asked for our pillow and were told that was the last one. What about ours? The excuse was we were not in the room so he couldn't give it to us. We won't stay here again.

It was clean and very suitable for a night . Just did t like climbing stairs to get to our room.

The room was awful, the linens were filthy, the electrical things were unsafe and the doors did not close properly. What an embarrassment to the hotel brand.

Nothing good to say it’s dirty , outdated and bathroom disgusting with dirt and mould everywhere.

Staff were amazing and polite. Very kind. But the hotel itself is rather dirty, the room was really run down. Stains on all bedding and pillows. Hair in the shower and on ceiling. . But the price was good and the door locked. So i was safe.

The rooms are old, dirty. Broken furniture, no heat. Complained and was “upgraded” at no additional cost. Next room cleaner but not a level you expect even at a budget hotel. Breakfast don’t do it. Kitchen not clean visible grime build up on counters, toaster took forever no jam or honey only peanut butter. Waffle iron not much better. Do not recommend.

Extremely low budget, room facilities damaged and old, stained sheets and towels, old (possibly original), carpet that is torn and frayed, make shift air conditioner set in old units frame access to outside and Mickey moused in and leaving cords all exposed and lying on floor of room. Dangerous metal pieces sticking outwards of bed frames that can cause injury to guests legs. When this issue was addressed to staff, it was acknowledged as knowing about this and obviously not a concern for the hotel. No bathmat supplied for bathtub so that poses a fall risk. I had to go request one for my safety. Bathtub tremendously scratched, damaged and worn, tub plug and chain was old, extremely rusted and rust all throughout edging of tub, counter was all marked up and deep gouges into countertop, Desk chair had stains in seat. Nothing is supplied to room unless guest goes down to office and asks for products. Extremely disappointed and it is very clear that there is no pride taken in this hotel. Overall, I was grossed out. Very unfortunate. People need accommodations near the hospital and one would hope that hotels would take some pride in their facilities.

Staff were nice. The rooms were very old and run down which could be tolerated if they were clean but unfortunately they were not.

The room was dirty. The tap and sink were streaked. The toilet bowl hadnt been cleaned. The pillows were a mishmosh of cheap. There were small dirt maks in the sheets. A used q tip under the desk. Two dirty used wash clothes still hanging on the shower curtain rod. I went out and biught disinfectent to clean the bathroom and surfaces myself so I could stomach staying there. Outside the cement had stains on the walkway and stairs. It was just filthy. Im suck of this 3rd world country care our places receive here in Canada now.

Couldn't get tv to work. Wifi glitchy.

The hotel is old and is run down, the room has an odor of cigarette, the window shaker air conditioner would not turn on, the smoke detector is hanging by the wires over the fixture inside the door.

Room was clean and suitable. Staff was pleasant. Next door guests had music blaring at 6am, which wasn't good. Wifi password did not work and breakfast room was not open at 7am, which I was told it would be and sign on door says. I had to leave, so could not have breakfast.

Beds were clean but room smelled musty. Bathtub should be repaired or replaced. Furniture in room was nice but mattresses were very uncomfortable.

I booked up this place for our 2 night stay in Kamloops based on exceptional reviews in Expedia but our experience was not satisfactory unfortunately. Coils mattressee were worn out and it was not at all comfortable to sleep on as they had no firmness. Several electrical outlets were not functioning except one, so we could not use our personal entertainments in the suite. The carpet had a dampness which could be felt while walking barefoot in the suite. Breakfast was ok and staff was nice to chat with.

The room was cheap, however that came at a cost - dirty (hairs everywhere), broken furniture, A/C broken, tv broken, electric outlets only functioned with the big light on. Damp musky smell. Albeit our experience was atrocious - the man on the check-in desk was very friendly and helpful (although, not a trained electrician so could not help me charge my phone in the room with the light off)

If i had read reviews first i never would have booked here. Glad that didnt happen. Room wasnt big but it was comfy, clean. Had recently been renovated.

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable however they ignored my request for a top room even though they were half-filled rooms are noisy from other unit and remote control volume didn't work, shower was just barely warm enough to shower but not hot, air conditioner was very noisy had to put wedges in it too quiet it down only chose because it was second cheapest room with the crazy rates now being charged however I think I'll just spend more later and get a better quality Hotel definitely nor more than 2 star quality

A bed frame metal stuck out and I got a bad cut on my leg walking beside the bed. I told the front desk clerk. She was sorry. Then I showed her photos and ask for compensation. She asked her manager and then refunded me $40. My 1 night stay was $123

When I arrived there was nobody at the front desk. I called them at least 7 times and nobody answered. I had to go outside and flag down a staff member. The garbage cans were overflowing. The breakfast room was unsightly. The room was OK, the water was hot, the TV worked well. But someone had kicked in the door at some point, and there was an unsightly fix. But at least it was economical.

Great accommodation to late-arrivals. AMAZING staff.

The Staff was excellent. All our requests were met with a smile and fulfilled in a timely manner.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and clean.

Friendly front office staff

Staff was nice. The room research wasn't available. They gave us another one along with a discount.

Rude woman upon check in had done the online check in to save time and she made me do it all over again and was more interested in her cell phone

The receptionist that checked us in was unhelpful. Just gave us a key. No explanation to where the room was, wifi, parking or breakfast area. No welcome at all

Convenient location along the main road. Has easy access to a nearby park.

Clean room, friendly staff. There were many homeless and odd people wandering around outside. We did not feel very safe.

It’s an older property, affordable and comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Close to the hospital was the reason we stayed here and would choose it again.

Woke up to a homeless man screaming outside of the property around 2am. Then the hotel staff woke us with loud bangs and noises. They chose to clean out and move furniture in the room next to mine at 8am. The hotel was clean but the location is a bit unsafe.

This is a solid inexpensive hotel. Close to downtown strip, but hotel is definitely older and getting little facelifts (eg new tile in bathrooms). Not a super nice area immediately around it

Room was clean and comfortably furnished. Reception staff was friendly and professional. Continental breakfast was adequate but could include healthy cereal and pastry options. Located along a main street downtown, so expect some noise from passing traffic. Conveniently located near the hospital.

Not enough staff. Breakfast was limited and coffee and bread run out fast and nobod was avail to keep up. Had to call front desk staff back to make coffee and get bread etc. Not enough staff.

Good location. Old style rooms. Could use a fresh coat of paint and a good cleaning. Great breakfast. Fairly priced.

I really liked how convenient it was to the hospital. It was also close to Denny's so convenient to go there for dinner. I liked that they had waffles and hard boiled eggs as part of their breakfast. The breakfast area was nice and clean although it doesn't open until 7

Stayed overnight Continental breakfast was good.

The room was good as expected, the breakfast however was unacceptable, the names Howard Johnson and Wyndham did not deliver at this location. Breakfast selection was very poor, breakfast room had an unpleasant odor, was unclean and just unappetizing, we ate breakfast elsewhere. People choose hotels that include breakfast as a convenience, either include it properly with a good selection in a clean inviting room or do not include it at all!
